Seeing him in real life, one would finally understand why Tae is one of the popular students in his university. He does not look real. He looks like he stepped straight out of a manga. He has that kind of perfect symmetric face that the eyes, mouth, nose, face shape, hair, and everything goes so well together. He's rather tall 179 cm and lean 62 kg. With a golden tan skin, high nose, v-shape face, and eyes that turn to crescents when he flashes his square smile. Tae thinks that he looks cold in an expressionless face because of his piercing gaze, so he smiles a lot in order not to give an intimidating vibe.

Tae has a personality that kind of confuses people because he is everything all at once. He’s known for his "different" personality, however, it's not that he's weird, it's more that he is expressive and seems to not be afraid to make a fool out of himself. He’s not afraid to cry and show his emotions; his vulnerable side. Such behavior is received very well by the people around him, because he radiates confidence and acceptance, in addition, it subconsciously makes others trust him more because they think he’s real. It shows the Tae is comfortable with himself and others relate to him, which makes them feel closer to him.

Tae is known for his positivity. He attracts others like a magnet because of his positive outlook on life. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Taejoon was brought into the world as the first and only son to the Lee family. His father was an accountant while his mother is an international sales manager. So his mother was mostly working overseas, leaving Tae to spend most of his time with his father which the boy greatly enjoyed for Woochun was a great father to him.

Growing up, Tae got into many things, he had a curiosity about everything and never seizes to surprise his father with what he wanted to learn or try each month. Although there was only one thing he stuck to after trying it once, which is drawing. His elementary art teacher helped him a lot, giving Tae drawing tips that an 8 year old can’t properly apply until they’re at least in their teen year, but he was able to follow and somewhat do it. He took everything the woman said and stored it in his head. Now 10 years old, Tae has gotten better than he was before, and his art skills amazed many people.

Around the time of his 11th birthday, his parents got a divorce. Surprisingly, Tae wasn’t at all affected by it. In fact, he was expecting it since he, just like everyone else, could see that his parent’s haven’t been getting along, especially not after his father admitted to his wife about his ual preference change and interest in drag. Tae, again, wasn’t surprised of his father’s preference and interest since he usually saw him secretly try on makeup, dresses, and wigs. He won’t lie, at first he thought it was completely weird, but after some deep and openly talk with his father, he completely accepted it for he saw how happy it makes his father.

Seeing as his mother’s job requires her to constantly move to different countries, the court appointed him to be under his father’s custody. That’s when his father quit his job and went on to buy an apartment that’s connected to a Korean BBQ restaurant which he decided to open and run. Though he didn’t live alone with his father at the apartment, his father allowed his little brother, Yoochun, (who has been kicked out of the house by his grandfather telling him to be an independent man with a proper job) to live with them under one condition which is to work in his restaurant to make up for rent. Despite not seeing his mother (not like she was around in his life before much anyways), Tae really loved his current life and living with his father and uncle.

His father also has a second job other than being a restaurant owner, which is working as a host at a gay bar called Lollipop in Itaewon. They host drag shows that his dad participates in every Friday and Saturday. His father, well Tae can’t lie, looks absolutely fabulous once he’s all dressed up and would go by the name of Gwihan (meaning precious) and is considered to be one of the customers’ favorites. How does he know all that? Well, he did get his talkative side from his father so the man would openly tell him and Yoochun stories not matter how much they tell him to stop. “Dad, I love you and you know that I’ll constantly support you, but I really don’t wanna know what you do to other men during your job.” Is what he’d always tell him with a cringing Yoochun nodding along his words.

Though thing's aren't so easy here in South Korea, especially not for openly gay people. Somehow, some students at his school knew of his father and of course not all were accepting of it. This attracted some bullies though Tae didn't back down and didn't show any signs of weakness to them. Coming back home with small bruises and a warning for fighting, Woochun was worried. Though he didn't scold the younger until he heard his explanation. He of course knew that he was going to have to face the judgement and insults but didn't expect his son to suffer from it too. That made him feel bad and worried for his son's safety. Seeing his father's expression, Tae reassured his father that he did nothing wrong and that judgmental pieces of will be around everywhere. They'll just have to avoid these sorts of people. However, the bullying didn't last long since Tae always stood up for himself and had friends to support him.

Seeing as his dream is to be an artist, Tae was ecstatic to start learning more in university. At first, everything was going great for him and he didn’t mind the hour and half it takes him to reach his university. Though as days went by and he’s now a senior, he now struggles with juggling his time with his university work and part-time job at NCSoft, and ends up coming back home at midnight due to both places being far away. He could’ve asked his uncle to drive and pick him up but it would be a hassle for the older to do that for him every day.

After some time, both his father and uncle noticed Tae repeatedly arriving late and feeling worn out. Yoochun then suggested to his brother that Tae lives somewhere close to his university and work. His father was really against it at first but then decided, after deep thinking and hesitance, that it was the best choice for his baby boy, so he let Tae choose where to live. Tae heard about the boarding house from some of his university friends and so he decided to apply to live there since it's the only available place that's close to both his university and work, only minutes away.

Seonho is definetly curious to know more about his regular customer, maybe even his name, but the boy disappears right after paying for his drink. Tae thought buying a hot cup of tea with three scoops of honey would only be a one or two time thing, but damn is he crushing hard on this cute older boy and his gummy smile.

— Father and uncle don't know that he lives in a boarding house . Knowing that both his father and uncle wouldn’t be comfortable with him living in the same house with a couple of strangers, especially mixed, he constantly does his best to avoid them coming inside the boarding house or even being close to it. He lied that the boarding house's building has many single room apartments and everytime his dad would ask for a room tour, he'd make excuses as to why he can't show him.
— He accidently killed a high school student in the past . One day, on his second year in university, Tae was driving back home. He was driving smoothly until a high school student appeared right in front of his car. He tried to stop the car, but it was too late. Freaking out, he scurried towards the unconcious body and tried to wake her up while crying as the girl's body flooded his hands with blood. The people passing by saw the scene and immediately called the police and ambulence. As he was at the hospital waiting for the girl's parents to come, he was taken by the police into custody until they discover the cause behind the accident. There, he heard that the girl passed away and it devastated him. A day later, it was revealed that the girl was a victim of bully and that the cause of her death was because the bullies pushed her roughly into the street. Tae was then let go and found innocent. Despite that, he still blames himself. Ever since, he's avoided the victim's parents, knowing that seeing them would fill his guts with guilt and he could possibly breakdown. He was mentally unstable for that year, but with the help of his bestfriend Jisoo, father, and uncle, he was able to forget about this incident...... for now.

what does your side of the room look like?. 

— Tae's side is usually neat, except when it's days before he has to submit a piece of artwork for his course. Then you'd find him doing his thing at his artwork table. Though don't worry about the thousands of crumbled paper and pencil mess that he does, Roomie. He'd clean up after himself afterwards.

daily schedule. 

— Tae has classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Whilst he has two classes on Wednesday and Friday, he only has one on Monday. However, on Monday he has his weekly Art club meeting where their works are put on the campus newspaper. That’s how Tae was first noticed by and scouted into the video game company, NCSoft.
— On week days, after he's done with classes, Tae would hurry off to his part-time job at NCSoft, which he works for five days a week. He’s a character artist there and his job is to draw and design new, unique, and visually appealing characters for their game projects. After he’s done, he’d pass by the café near the offices before going back home. 
— On weekends, he's mostly free on those two days.
— When he's done with his coursework, if he’s not hanging out with friends then he'd be watching variety shows or reading comics/mangas or going around chilling with the housemates.

— One day, Tae’s father sends Yoochun to drop off a box of Korean meat to the share house and that’s when Tae’s secret is revealed and his uncle discovers he lives in the same house with a couple of strangers. And so he and Yoochun go to the park nearby and the older scolds him for lying but promises to keep his secret nonetheless as long as he comes clean to his father soon.
— His mother encounters him being intimate with a boy and gets mad saying, “This all your father’s fault! He’s a bad influence!” Which infuriates Tae and the two get into a big argument before Tae storms off in tears. That’s when he finally decides to cut off his uncaring homophobic mother.
— The high school victim's mom finally decides to approach Tae and comes to the share house asking for him. She tells him that she's been wanting to contact him long before but didn't know if he would've been comfortable with that. They talk until Tae breaksdown at the mention of the girl and keeps mumbling apologies to the mother. She hugs him and goes on to tell him that he has nothing to be sorry for and to not blame himself any longer and live his life. That it was all just a cruel game of fate. After that, Tae can comfortably move on from the incident.
— Tae sees a duck being attacked by other ducks and secretly brings it back with him to the house to live in their bathtub. Though the duck causes so much noise that the other housemates make him take it back.
— He holds a full on funeral for one of the housemates pet that dies. Tae drinks himself to the point where he becomes a sobbing mess and whimpers, “(pet name) was a good friend. No, he/she was a bro! HE/SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR US! FOR ME!”
— He appoints one of the housemates whom he becomes very close with as his designated driver, but he doesn’t overdo it and knows when he’s exceeded his limit.
— He and a housemate try cooking dinner themselves in the first week they move in and with none of the two having any cooking knowledge, they almost burn down the kitchen and one of them accidentally somehow spills boiling water on the other’s hand. So they spend their night at the hospital treating the burn instead, laughing at their stupidity, and that’s how they become closer. Since then, the two vowed to never cook alone again. EVER.
