 Serene

"An angry man is a blind man"

Joon is extremely serene. he doesn't get irritated easily and finds himself capable of keeping a level head in even the most stressful of situations. he is not one to easily annoy, and it's nearly impossible to piss him off. the man also exudes a very calming aura. but still, despite the migraines, he does give to people with how zany and anarchic he would be. moreover, thanks to his tranquillity, he finds himself to be extremely patient. waiting is an easy game for him, and he is one to not let himself get antsy by wanting to hurry things up, instead, he always finds himself waiting patiently for the right timing. 

 Confident  

"I know what I bring to the table so trust me when I say I'm not afraid to eat alone."

Joon is self-confident. he's confident in his appearances, his choices, and his actions. Joon's confidence shines through in the way he talks, he smirks and his everyday actions. All the decisions he makes, he doesn't hesitate to follow through with it. he owns his powers, the arguments he makes, and the "performances" he executes. he isn't afraid to show himself and isn't afraid of not following the crowd. he brushes off mean-spirited comments because he knows he's fantastic (meaning, that he's the only one that can criticize himself). Despite his high self-esteem, he doesn't truly believe that he's better than everyone else, which gives his confidence a more pleasant feel. 

 Observant  

"Don't underestimate me. I know more than I say, think more than I speak & notice more than you realize."

Joon is very observant. he'll notice even the subtle of changes like a rose missing from a vase in one of the classrooms, to a student missing their afternoon classes when he saw them during the day or at lunch, to seeing people whisper something to each other only for one of them to leave the space and the other following after a couple of minutes, to the little quirk you do when you're lying, to get answers from just your body language. This is what makes him such an excellent hunter. Most things don't go past Joon without him noticing. he's always alert about his surroundings and won't mind eavesdropping on conversations happening around him. Joon would never tell you he noticed all of these things and would act as if he knows nothing, because this way, he gets to see the true nature and intentions of others who believe he knows nothing. 

 Intelligent  

"Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice."

Joon is extremely smart and catches onto things quickly. Before others can tell him what's going on or the full story, he can already put two and two together and find out all by an educated guess. If you try to trick him, he might find out quicker than you think. He's smart, well book smart. his knowledge doesn't fail him. When problems arise, he relies on his logic when making decisions. his intelligence is what also makes him a great tracker. he can make connections as to whether a trail of footprints or a scent are more likely to be a trap based on the circumstances and make smart guesses as to where an animal or human might go if their footprints lead to a dead end. Not to say that Joon is the new Einstein, he is just smarter than the average person.

 Stubborn  

"I'm sorry, I don't take orders. I barely take suggestions."

Joon is strong-willed. This could perhaps be deemed something to look up to, to admire. For others, it's simply a kind way to say that someone is hard-headed or stubborn. And Joon seems to lean towards the negative side of the spectrum. he's not someone who is forced into doing something they don't want to do or something they don't believe in. he may not speak outwardly about his feelings towards something, but his actions will always show how willing or unwilling he is to do something. If one were to bring his a topic or idea that he doesn't have any interest in, doesn't have faith in, or merely doesn't like, it will be like trying to persuade a brick wall. 

 Rebellious  

"Of course I know the rules. That's why I break them so effectively."

Joon is the exact epitome of someone who does not like following the rules. he is a free bird, a free spirit who loves to do as his heart pleases that when he is faced with discipline, his usual reaction would be to deny it, find a way around his punishment and resist. This makes Joon someone that is a little harder to control because, for him, rules are meant to be bent if not broken. As such, only the most patient people can deal with him when he's like this. It is undeniable that he is smart and he knows his way around rules and the fact that his power of illusions allows him to escape suspicion which lets him get away with most things. 

 Troublesome 

"I have an insatiable appetite for chaos"

As you know, Kitsunes are troublesome so this trait shouldn't have come off as a surprise. Joon is definitely one to never restrain himself, a very uninhibited soul you see. he is always free and saying whatever he wished to say, may it be insensitive or not. even if whatever his actions are could leave a bad impression, he still did it anyway. after all, why the need to restrain himself when he could just truly be himself to his very core? one might say that he is more like the embodiment of discord rather than serenity if they truly knew him. the man is never one to follow the rules and he would defy many. he loves to cause pandemonium as it brings some more excitement and fun in his life, and if he was bored then he just had to raise it up by a notch. he went by his own rules and mood, which sometimes could lead him to willingly follow others, but the next thing you know he defies. he is someone you couldn't really put a leash on or dream to even understand.

 Vengeful 

"I never go to bed angry. I stay awake and plot my revenge. "

Joon lives off on the phrase "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". he's vengeful towards his enemies and rivals and likes to get his revenge even when he is just a bit angry at what they did. he'll "repay" them by giving them a taste of their own medicine. For example: if someone pisses him off or is bothering and/or threatening the safety of the person he's protective of, he'll take vengeance by making them feel as if they've gone crazy when they see his illusions, "accidentally" bump into them making them drop whatever they were holding, spread rumors about them, purposely aim an object to hit the person and pretend it was an accident, ruin something they own, hurt someone they hold dear to their heart, openly expose their lies or darkest secrets, mercilessly and countlessly tease them, blackmail them into doing him favors, intimidate them, and damage their belongings.

background The clan Joon grew up with all thought he was weak, a nuisance, disgrace, and dishonor. He came from a clan that is considered to be relatively strong. Most mature kitsunes in that clan have an average of 6 tails and the leader of the clan has 8 tails. The most powerful kitsunes have 9 and Joon has 2. He was two-thirds away from being the norm in the clan. This clan is constantly obsessed with power and being the strongest kitsune clan. However, my two tails was a constant daily reminder of the weak link they had within their own clan. So out of result he became an outcast and went through multiple forms of their cruel and unusual punishments almost every day. They gave him many years to try and at least be powerful enough to gain at minimum one more tail but he couldn't succeed. He then ran away from the clan and went rogue. He wasn't the first weak link to be raised in that clan and he definitely won't be the last. He knows what happens to those who are weak, he's seen it happen, he's seen and experienced the very people who call themselves your friends, family, and love put you through painful punishments, and he's seen and luckily ran away before he can experience the same thing other weak links go through: the absence of their existence, only for those who took your life to live the next day as if it were a normal day and as if nothing happened. This is why Joon needs power. He needs it to prove them wrong, that he is strong, to take vengeance for how they treated him and to slaughter them all like animals like they've done to those just like him.

Joon doesn't have anyone he's close to. He cut all ties with his family and clan. He's really just a lone fox who doesn't want to get attached to anyone and have anyone be a nuisance to him.

interactions Joon is the direct definition of a tsundere. He pretends not to be worried about the other's well being {"I'm not walking you home because it's dark out. It was just good timing and a coincidence that you were leaving the same time I wanted to leave for a little walk and that were headed the same way"}, pretending to not be thoughtful {"Don't get the wrong idea now, I accidentally bought more ice cream than I can finish so do me a favor and eat it with me because I don't want to waste it. That's all. Besides, if I'm going to eat you I want to be full so eat the ice cream and plump up"}, pretending to be embarrassed by the other {"Yah! Do you have to drool the Yeongsan river all over your desk when you sleep? I had to tell everyone that you spilled water all over your desk just to save myself from embarrassment. Tch, how embarrassing"} and pretending not to care about the other's wellbeing {"Of course I'm not going to let anyone else hurt or bully you. They're basically disrespecting my property since you hold my powers"}.

last words First of all, thank you for reserving that plotline for me! I didn't reach my goal by handing him in yesterday but I finished him the moment I had time.

• After Joon eats Somin he would make illusions of somin and will truly believe that he's there with him (Let's just say he lost touch with reality and went insane after he gained his powers and that's how he copes0
