My Ex-College Can Burn in Hell

A month ago, I finally had enough of my ex-college's bull. The ty teacher didn't teach at all for my Photoshop classes and goes MIA 80% of the time during the 3 hour class. She even told us to learn the program ourselves on YouTube. I got so pissed off that I lambasted the school on their business Google Review, not mentioning names at all btw. The next day, I got a call from the Student Affairs and they reprimanded me for 'writing nonsense' on the internet. They even asked me, 'Do you know who I am?'. Who the says that in a conversation? Unless you're trying to be ing arrogant and show off your title or something. But this woman, is just a ing employee in the school and there's NOTHING worthy to brag about, really. She never bothered to introduce herself in the call, only saying she's calling from Student Affairs Dept and yet she have the ing guts to ask 'Do you know who I am?'.

She then proceeded to make an appointment for me to meet the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the school to talk about the matter. Ok, fine. You think that stopped there eh? I'm sorry, it is a hard NO.

The next day I went to the office to try to get the withdrawal form from the front desk and was told that I need to inform a lecturer or the programme coordinator about it. The front desk texted my lecturer (the good one) and she came out to meet me. But she said that the meeting with the COO is today (Wednesday) when I clearly told the Student Affairs lady that I am only free on FRIDAY. My lecturer then went to check the appointment for me. Surprise, surprise. It was set TODAY. *facepalm* Fine then, I'll meet her today. But no, the Academic Head caught me and told me that it was her that I need to speak to. Not the COO.

The 'counselling session', as they call it, it's ing horrible. It was more like a blame-fest than addressing problems and rectifying it. The meeting was held in an OPEN AREA where EVERYONE in the office can hear the conversation. The of a lecturer was also called in to talk as well. The Academic Head claimed it was to 'clear up misunderstanding and there's nothing to hide'. The whole ing time, the lecturer was staring at me with judgemental looks and disgust while the Academic Head puts on a really fake smile, faker than China products btw, and kept spewing poison in the guise of sweet talks. The lecturer NEVER said anything the whole time, just judging you from head to toe.

The following quotes pissed me off BIG TIME and that came from a ing Academic Head:

'Unless you have experience and over 30 years old, you have no rights to complain about a lecturer.'
'You are only 18 and teenagers cannot think for themselves.'
'Unless your grades were good, then we are at fault. But your grades are not that good, so it's your fault.'
'Don't you know how to self-learn?'
(totally my fault for the lecturer sitting there texting during all the times she's in class huh)
'You are so arrogant (for leaving a review).'
'You cannot withdraw, you must continue.'
'You must delete the review.'
'Your parents are angry because you told them nothing but lies.'

Last but not least, the ing excuses (not addressing the problem at all) by using the teacher's pregnancy.

I was denied withdrawal and had to get my mother to come with me the next day to get it done. My mom had my ex-lecturer/programme coordinator's contact and called her after I got home from the meeting. The ex-coordinator told us that there were many reports from parents that she knew complaining about how their child was denied withdrawal and lambasted in the so-called 'counselling session' so they wouldn't leave due to guilt. So technically, you are guilt tripped into not leaving the school because it's your fault that things went horribly wrong. Also, she said that the ty lecturer had been complained by MANY students, even the ones she had taught in the previous university she worked for. If you chose to stay in that school, you'll be isolated and psychologically abused even further.

The Academic Head kept asking why on earth did I put my real name in the review. For starters, am I wrong? Why did you react so badly to the review? Forcing someone to take down a review (I never took it down)? Why are you so ing scared of a review?

Even if I'm not the one pulling this up, someone else is gonna do it someday and is going to hit the fan anyway, based on all the ty reviews I've heard from my friends from other colleges and online. You never ing addressed the problem. Only went, 'it's all on you' the whole 1 hour 30 minutes I was there, and you think adding 'I'm not blaming you, you know.' to end the meeting is gonna make your crap less damaging/hurtful?

The withdrawal process was so ing tedious. At first, I found the piece of lecturer, who is appointed by the ing useless Academic Head as the programme coordinator, to get the signature. But when I told her to sign, she said she wasn't authorized to do so. I'll have to bring it up to the Academic Head. *smashes face on table* She went on to reprimand me for 'talking bad about her online' when I have not mentioned any names and strangers/students from other programmes don't know who the hell you are.

My juniors complained about her before I did. They brought it up to the Academic Head directly and she sweet talked them into believing that she'll resolve the issue. Nothing changed at all... they were also targeted by the lecturer. Everytime they show up, she'll give them a disgusted look. She never answered our messages about the assignments and also never look at the work.

But I digress. We were told that we need an appointment to meet the Academic Head, so she won't be able to sign the document any time soon. Mom went off like a nuclear bomb that time and was told that I'll be notified when the lady is back. In the meantime, I can get the other department's signatures first.

Library signed first. The bursary signed after we told the person in charge that the AH isn't in and he have to sign first. The Student Affairs is a whole piece of work. They wouldn't sign because 'according to procedure', no AH signature, no deal. Mom short circuited again and they got scared and signed.

Went for lunch, halfway I got a message saying the AH is back. I walked all the way back to college (around 10-20 mins) and went to the office. Another lady came out and said, I am not allowed to meet the AH because the programme coordinator isn't in and I'll have to wait till the is back. *slams face into a wall*

Programme coordinator came out and said she's now authorized to sign the form. So, she signed it and sent me off on my merry way.

This is by far the longest blog post I've ever written in my whole life. These wits can go jump into a deep hole and never come out. I can tell you that every week, there was bound to be around 5 students from different courses withdrawing. Instead of investigating and try to resolve the problem, they decide to 'victim blame' in a way.

I'm not even sorry for what I did. They ing deserve it.

You did absolutely nothing wrong. Good thing that you complained.
This so-called lecturer is getting paid to teach the class, not to just sit there and text

Another thing, if you're supposed to learn these from videos on YT, then why would you even need to pay the college fees?
Why are they trying to protect that person though?

Another thing I don't agree with is that comment about the grades.
If the grades are good, then that student can manage.
If the grades are not so good, then they need more help and more time from the teacher.

Nonsense.

If there have been so many complaints already, then there should have looked into this issue ages ago.

Why even take that subject?
