1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?
I'm a polyglot, one of the languages I speak being French. The French word for "God" is "Dieu", which kinda sounds like Do, so I replaced 'Do' with 'Dieu', making "dieukyungsoo". It's a pun saying D.O's family name is God because he's just so godlike >_< even tho he's not my bias I still love him <3
2. Which is your most subscribed to story?
"Liar // ChanBaek [UAU I]". It's at 54 subs as of now.
3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?
Because Park Bom is like, my female ult and deserves better than the sh+t people like to throw at her. Waiting for you, Bommie <3

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)
I had a draft for a KaiSoo Parents AU (while still being in EXO) but that was like 34787934875784 years old and cringey so I deleted that sh+t faster than Kris sued SM. I have some dystopian AUs I'd really love to write but still need to play around with a bit more.
10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?
Updating Trouvaille, lmao. Requests are at, like, a month wait rn which I feel really bad about >_< I'd like to work on expanding my fandoms too!! So far actual fics have been EXO only and the only other groups I've written are oneshot requests >_< I'd really love to write a LOONA novel, or even a huge girl group mashup. I'm thinking of doing a WJSN x EXO crossover; it'll be like, a magic school AU because both groups concepts play with magic and powers and stuff quite often.

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?
On AFF, 5. But counting other sites (not duplicates) and deleted stories, 11 I believe?? I used to have a bunch of half-assed, half-written cringey stories on Wattpad, but I've taken most of them down. I only have two Hetalia books left up because they do well and I remember being really proud of them, even though I never properly finished it (it was supposed to be a trilogy; that's why I write all my stories first before publishing them now lmao), and a Supernatural Imagines book. I've kept that up too because although it's the cringiest thing on the planet, it does well, too, and I wrote some stuff for/with my friends so it's like, a sentimental thing now. My Joe Sugg, Attack On Titan, and other original stories I took down so fast Usain Bolt is jealous
13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?
In my notes I have about 16 counting. I don't think I'll ever get to all of them, though, as some of them are short little summaries and sh+t I wrote down at 3am. One is literally "panic attthe disoc exo universe au minseok" and "miss jacson, dtmwagt, build god" written underneath and I like?? have 0 clue what I was going for but like ?? I'd sure like to know what. I'm think an EXO AU with Minseok as the main character centred around those A++ songs but like,,, I can't remember what great epiphany I had to strike corrleation between all of them, so
14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?
Depends. If I have a little blurb or random spike (see Panic? above) I'll write down, but often potential scenes stay in my head so I don't have to go through and edit it when I've thought of something different to do. If a particular scene keeps buging at me, or a little inspo for a oneshot/drabble type thing I'll write down. It helps for future reference, especially because my memory is sh+t lmao my english teacher hates me I've asked him 474302 times when our essays are due
15. Have you ever co-authored a story?
Not properly. A few years ago I wrote a Wattpad story with some friends, but it was shared on my acc only. Even now, a lot of my friends will help me with editing and ideas, but I do the majority of the writing myself. IDK if I could co-author one; I'd fear the writing style would be too different (even my style alone consistently shifts; it must be because I'm bi lol) and ideas would clash. I'm quite a meek person, so it would probably end up being the other person's plot and ideas anyways. Even if I did have an idea, I'm afraid of being shot down. However, I 100% want to write a story with a few other authors where we all take a different character's pov (like a rick riordan book but not just uncle rick), so if anyone's interested, totally hmu. This is gonna be an idea I play with now lmao watch me put out another blog soon asking for authors hhhhnnnnhhhh
16. How did you discover AFF?
My friend Rachel sent me "The Faults In Byun Baekhyun" to read, so I ended up making an account here to do so. I'm a really slow fic reader (I prefer physical books, and I feel like when I read fics they start leaking into my own writings) so it's been over a year and I still haven't finished it, lol. It's been pretty good so far, though. I'm still traumatized by 10080
17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?
Not at all. People I consider popular and famous are like, Anna Todd and George DeValier and as much as I'd like to, I'd never be able to reach that level (DeValier fics are the bomb, though. You thought 10080 was sad? Oh honey the VeraVerse WRECKED ME WHY DID LUDWIG DO THAT AND ITS NOT DEVALIER but Gutters left me in ruins TT that's a whole other level of sad and so Danish Slaughterhouse was so morbid yet enthralling I read it in 3 days but I just ??? 1147% reccommend all of them, links at the end)
18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?
Loves I guess 'cause that's what I tend to call people regardless. Or crackheads for reading my sh+t hdsfjkdsfhjk link me your drug dealer
19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?
George DeValier, definitley. After reading Auf Wiedersehen, Sweetheart I immediatley wanted to write my own Hetalia fanfics. After reading 10080, I wanted to write my own ChanBaek, and that's how Liar was birthed.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?
Sh+t write. You're never going to get anywhere without putting something down. Chances are, you'll delete it anyways, but get something down. Even if it's cringey or doesn't make sense, you can totally take aspects and inspo from that. That will also lead you to places you'd rather write and do better. Take inspo from things around you, too!
22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?
Oneshots, I just go for it. 3am drug high, here we go. For longer fics, like the UAU and things I'm currently working on, I plan them out. At the moment, I have like, ten pages of planning I've written out.
23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?
Surprisingly, no. I have gotten people say "that's not the ending I wanted. I loved the rest of the story, but I can't bring myself to like the ending." To be fair, I wrote it in five minutes a year later to make up for a third book. But other than that, I haven't gotten anything really negative. If I do, I like to ask, "Why didn't you like it?" Feedback is important, and I can take that to make my next works better.
24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)
. I don't write it for a reason. Makes me uncomfortable, esp when the majority of characters here on AFF are real people.
25. What story(s) are you working on now?
Publishing, 'Coffee', and soon after 'Yuanfen'. I'm working on some bonus chapters for 'Yuanfen'. I'm working on oneshots for 'Trouvaille', and my next independant work, 'The Suiciders'. I'm really excited for TS, and I think it's soemthing a lot of people can learn and take something from.
26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?
Yeah, I have a giant queue, but I don't plan them out in detail until I get to it.
27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?
My goal is to just write every day, whether it's five hours or five minutes. I don't want to force anything, and unless it's been like, over a week withouot writing anything I'll sh+t write smth to get it moving again. But inspiration and motivation is fickle, and when I lack that I don't want to write anything, esp oneshots.
28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?
Hell yeah!! And I know I'll continue to grow. Even reading C1 and C18 of Liar was a lot of growth for me, and that was in the span of about a year. I've grown so much since my Joe Sugg fanfic days. Thank God no one can find those. I want to slingshot myself into the sun just thinking about it.
29. What is your favorite story that you've written?
The oneshot 'all your lies'. I love the writing style and format of it, and I'm quote proud of something I wrote in like, three hours in the late night/early morning. Compared to other oneshots and works and stuff, it's much more the type of aspects I like to play with when writing. I have a small draft type thing that I'd like to turn into a full-length book I'm quite proud of, too. Maybe I'll publish it as a oneshot first.
30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?
Not counting the cringey Supernatural Imagines and the Joe Sugg fanfic, definitley some of my oneshots. They're mainly requests, and there are some I allowed at the time I'm not really familair with. They're not my best work and really half-assed, and some of them I didn't quite 'feel' if that makes sense. If I had to be specifc, 45.7cm (I was in love with the prompt, but I struggled to find a measurement that worked and wasn't what I was initally aiming for) and Age Doesn't Matter (again, not what I was originally aiming for).
31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?
In 5 years I'll be 21, and I either see myself too plaugued with life and other stuff to write, or going to school for writing. I'd really love to say a published author, though, so let's hold onto that hope. Positive thinking = positive outcome.

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?
Publishing. HAHA just kidding. Maybe getting to write scenes I've had a lot of inspo and motivation for. Unlike some scenes, it's not forced and "what can I do to get this moving?" but it like, flows out of me per se. It's hard to explain.
34. What is the hardest thing about writing?
Editing. Part of me is like, "don't take anything out this is so sentimental your first raft of this your baby uwu" and the other half has a flame thrower yelling "BURN IT ALL DELETE IT I WANNA WATCH THE WORLD BURN". I hate editing so much!! Editing week is hell week.
35. Why do you write?
Have you ever read Stephen King's "Why We Crave Horror Movies" essay? He says we crave horror movies because there's a little insanity in all of us, and we take out in horror movies instead of in real life. That's why I write; it's more of a personal outlet for me, whether ot be the cheesy, lovesick poetry or the insane, dark, twisted supernatural themes or the fighting or the crying or whatever else. Each story gets a little part of me, and parts are often vent writes. I had a major blowup with an old friend and that's how a lot of my scenes were born. I've lost friends close to me to suicide, and all these years later I'm taking my bottled up feelings and putting them into words and it feels so good and it's such a healthy, fun way to do it. I have a bunch of poetry on my phone from my sad lovelife I'm thinking of publishing. Should I?
