Upcoming Works

I thought I'd share where I am at with and my plans for my projects. Not all may go through, and some details will change, like titles (these are all working titles). This isn't counting 'Trouvaille // A OneShot Collection', as I will continue to work on that atop these projects. No UAU novels are counted in this, either. Some works will contain heavy subjects. These are not meant to be romanticized or glorified, and have been thought and planned out carefully to be depicted really. These are meant to raise awareness and provide representation and comfort. I just want to see if anyone has any interest in these. This is most likely NOT the order the projects will be written and published in. Who knows, though. If any stand out to you, or have any thoughts/questions/comments/etc, feel free to share. I'm always 100% open to feedback!! YOU MAY NOT take these ideas, even with credit. These are mine and mine only.

Work I

The Suiciders

[EXO]

Stand alone; does not belong to a series

High School AU

[TRIGGER WARNING]

[Currently in progress]

Kim Jongdae loved the feeling of air whipping around him as he fell through the air, his body coming into harsh contact with the water. Kim Junmyeon loved blades, the feeling of them being able to pierce through virtually anything. Byun Baekhyun loved the heat, specifically fire and the way he held so much control with nothing but a flick of a lighter. Oh Sehun loved medicine, his fascination with the way they worked having started when he was young. Park Chanyeol loved the water, having been a swimmer all his life. All five boys had one thing in common- suicide and support group. After all attempting suicide within the span of a year, all five are sent to a support group, an attempt at getting them to confront, talk about, and move on from their problems. Instead, they end up finding quick, close friends. They called themselves the Suiciders. A label, a brand, for the band of boys who were slowly fading.

“I still saw him as the boy I couldn’t save, even if I tried. I don’t think I could’ve saved any of us.”

Work II

A Tale of Four Princes

[EXO]

Stand alone; does not belong to a series

Royalty AU

[POSSIBLE TRIGGER WARNING; UNKNOWN]

Kim Minseok, the eldest son and due to ascend to the throne, has waited his entire life for this moment. Although he knows just what he'll do when he gains the power he needs, he's also unsure if he's ready to leave behind what this new chapter of life means. Kim Junmyeon, the second eldest son, has been swept under the rug by his mother due to an incident when he was young. Junmyeon, unable to move on from his past, has abandoned any and all of the duties he may have had, and instead feeds all his time to what he passes off as a small project, but really may just be the downfall of many. Kim Jongdae, the second youngest son, has been given a marriage arranged by his mother to a foreign princess. Due to his good looks, charm, and suave social skills, he already has many people tucked quietly away in his back pocket, ready to play the chess board at any moment. Entranced by his older brother, he's ready to do whatever he says, even if it means getting his hands dirty and his clothes bloody. Kim Jongin, the youngest son, has fallen in love with someone his mother claims 'unfit', and she has made it clear that if Jongin ever acts out on his love for this boy, Jongin will never see the light of day again. Although Minseok prepares to take the throne from their controlling mother and keep his brothers in line, his brothers seem to have other plans.

“You think I’m dangerous? I’m not dangerous. A little stir crazy, sure. But not dangerous. Don’t worry, little brother. You and loverboy over there are going to be just fine. Truthfully, it’s the others you have to watch out for. Kim Minseok is a filthy, lying, cheating, backstabbing-” "Jumyeon, shut it. You're scaring him." "Good! He should be!"

Work III

Chúfā Wǒ, Chúfā Nánrén // Trigger Me, Trigger Men

[EXO]

Stand alone; does not belong to a series

Mafia AU

[POSSIBLE TRIGGER WARNING]

A wealthy Chinese man by the name of Xi Luhan is found dead three days after his mysterious disappearance. Xi Luhan was murdered, and police have created a list of suspects, that grows as the investigation continues. Each suspect has a motive, but who really killed Xi Luhan? Byun Baekhyun, the man that claims it was Luhan who sent him to the asylum? Do Kyungsoo, the cop who seems a little too interested in the case? Huang Zitao, Luhan's biggest business rival? Chen, a famed hitman? Kim Junmyeon and Kim Jongin, leader and head of a large mafia respectively? Oh Sehun, Luhan's married lover? Or KIm Minseok, Luhan's ual lover? Park Chanyeol, the dead guy, or Wu Yifan, Luhan's close friend, or Zhang Yixing, who...truly, doesn't have much evidence pointing to him.

“Does anyone know how I can contact Park Chanyeol?” “I do, but it’s not going to get you very far. Park Chanyeol is dead.”

Work IV

That’s The Spirit

[EXO]

Stand alone; does not belong to a series

High School/Supernatural AU

[POSSIBLE TRIGGER WARNING]

The night Do Kyungsoo followed his friends, Park Chanyeol and Byun Baekhyun, to a small used bookshop, he found Chanyeol and himself pushing a car which contained Baekhyun’s body into a lake.It wasn’t his fault they found a book on black magic, and it wasn’t his fault they bought it and decided to play around with it. It wasn’t his fault they accidentally sacrificed Baekhyun and killed him. It was all fake, wasn’t it? The thing chasing Kyungsoo and Chanyeol, who are unsure of whether it’s their dead friend or not, doesn’t seem to think so.

“We’re acting funny? I just killed you three days ago. How the hell are you here right now?”

Work V

Digital Royalty//Through The Screen//In Real Life

[EXO]

Stand alone; does not belong to a series

High School AU

Oh Sehun’s blog started as something small, a simple past time. It started as small posts and reblogs. After entering an online competition, Sehun not only finds himself with a massive online following, but giving advice to people and even some fans. The catch is, despite the friends he’s made through the screen, Sehun goes by a pen name. This works great at first, allowing him to balance his online and real life separately. But after his blog blows up, he’s invited and featured places that threaten to expose his online personnel to those he knows in real life, and his real identity to those he knows online, especially the cute boy he may just be catching feelings for on the other side of the screen.

“Who do you think you are? Hannah Montana? “No, but maybe I can be Alexis Texas.” “I don’t think you understand who Alexis Texas is.”

[Digital Royalty, Through The Screen, and In Real Life are all titles I’m working with, but a final one has yet to be decided. What one do you life better?]

There are some other ideas I'm still playing with, like a WJSN magic school AU and a huge utopian crossover involving magic and robots. It sounds lame, but it'll be pretty cool. If any of you like books like the Selection (Kiera Cass), Delirium (Lauren Oliver), and Matched (Ally Condie), you'll like it.
