background – Jieun was born on December 16, 1991 in Anyang, South Korea. Jieun's mother water broke a few weeks earlier and was rushed to the hospital. While giving birth, Jieun's mother lost lots of blood and passes away hours after giving birth. Her father, loved Jieun's mother a lot and couldn't help but see her in Jieun. He and Jieun's mother never really thought of a name for their baby girl. So, in the end, Jieun's father named his baby, Jieun. Seeing as it is his wife's name.
While growing up, it was hell for Jieun. When she was a baby, her father adored her. he was caring and protective over Jieun. He couldn't help but spoil her. He buys her everything, toys, clothes, shoes. They were rich. When Jieun was only 3, Her father, couldn't stand being in the same house where his deceased wife used to live, so they packed their bags and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. It was fine at first, but when Jieun turned 5, her father dramatically changed. He started coming home late, he smells like alchohol. He would spit words to little Jieun who couldn't understand a single word he is saying. Her father, soon started hitting her. Abusing her. along the way, jieun also started singing. every single time in school, jieun would disappear into the school's music room to either practice on her vocals or write painful yet meaningful lyrics in her song book. if not in the music room, she would be found in the dance room, polishing up in her dance moves with determination in her eyes. eventually, a friend of hers managed to convince her into auditioning for a korean agency, seeing as they themselves know how korea has one of the most talented dancers. thinking it through, jieun went ahead and sent videos of her singing and dancing to many companies. however, only one was quick enough to email her back, and that agency was jyp.
she then flew to korea to live with her aunt and also start on her training. however, things weren't to be when jieun got herself pregnant. yes, she got pregnant. it was a shock for her yes since she had just turned 17. it not only shocked her but jyp himself. with a heavy heart, he had to let one of his best dancers go. jieun was eventually kicked out of jyp and had to go through the pregnancy at the tender age of 17. even when jieun became pregnant, she never once thought of giving up in dancing. she knows that she has talent, and she doesn't want it to go into waste, which is why months after giving birth to fraternal twins, jieun got up and started dancing again.

trainee life – when she first started training under jyp, she had a hard time coping. having been away from korea for nearly all her life, jieun had troubles speaking the language and couldn't understand half of what the trainers would say. she would always be scolded for every single mistake she do but wouldn't even know what she did wrong. she lost so much energy during this period of time since she had to begin dietting. not only that, she also had to juggle her school life since she was only 14 years old. people could see how much the girl had lost weight along with how pale she had become. hyesoo was close to dragging her out of jyp, but jieun practically begged hyesoo not to since she wanted to achieve her dreams so badly. jieun wanted to debut so much that she didn't mind how tired and worn out she was. sadly, her dreams were shattered when she found out she was pregnant when she was 18. at that time, she was so close to debuting yet, a small mistake ruined. jieun was kicked out of jyp and eventually had to stopped dancing for almost a year just because she was pregnant. she wanted to hate the baby growing in her but couldn't.

background – jay and jieun met while in jyp. honestly, nothing ever happened. the two often greet one another whenever they walk pass each other. jieun obviously had to act more respectful since jay is older than her and has been training longer than her. they weren't exactly friends, only seeing one another through mutual friends or during practice. however, things changed when jieun turned 17. it was december of 2008 and jieun and her friends were hanging out and eventually, one of them managed to get into a club despite jieun being "underaged" and well, let's just say, she woke up the next day, and on a bed with a male next to her. she had unknowingly spent the night with the leader of 2pm and didn't know what to do. i mean, you just turned 17 and had lost one of the most precious things for a woman. jieun honestly didn't know what to do and that was when the male next to her woke up. he obviously was shocked to find the brunette haired girl next to him with nothing on and had tears in her eyes. eventually, the two came to an agreement to never talk about it ever again.

right when jay appeared in front of jieun's apartment complex, appeared jieun's aunt as well as the two little angels who already could talk. jay was shocked of course. why would the small angels look like him while yelling out for the woman in front of him. when jieun's aunt brought the children away from the two, he took no time but to ask jieun about them. who they were and why they looked so much like him. that's when jieun came clean and told him about how she got pregnant and that the twins were his. she honestly did not expect anything from the confused male. in fact, she expected him to avoid her at all cost, i mean, she could take care of them even without the help of jay. however, jay did the opposite.

relationship – to the public eye, everyone thinks that jay and jieun are just close friends since they often work and collab together. however, behind those eyes, comes in their real status. those who are close to the pair are aware of their marriage to one another which makes things easier for both to move around with their children. jay and jieun are often seen together. jay can't seem to take his hands off the said girl and would often steal kisses when their kids aren't around. he also loves to brag about his family to everyone who knows of their relationship. the two often go on small dates whenever their children would be with kiseok or hyesoo and let's just say that it ends with the two always becoming intimate with one another.
