it's not a surprise that haseul would be a serious little girl who wants everything going the way she likes it. you can see it in her resting makeup covered face that this woman is not someone you would want to mess with. haseul tends to scare off people with just a single glance, especially now that she looked like some aggressive woman who could beat and fold you up like you're a string. haseul is however a perfectionist and would want everything to go as smoothly as possible, or else she would blow up and become annoyed, and you wouldn't want a woman to nag at you all day long just because you did not put in any effort during practice. haseul is literally the girl you could rely on when needing some honest opinions and also when you need something to be done with neat and perfection glowing out of it.

haseul is not only a passionate perfectionist, she is also such a sarcastic . literally she is straight to the point and doesn't care if she has hurt your feelings in the process. she has this mindset where you asked for some honest remark, and you got one. honestly, only her closest friends could handle her bull sometimes because they've been friends since they don't know when. honestly, it's her oozing confidence that reflects in her blunt, straight forward and sarcastic personality. she no longer feels insecure about herself because she's grown into someone. she doesn't care if she gets side remarks that comes after her hurtful comment because she knows she's right or she knows it's a fact that can't be avoided.

however, behind her sarcasm, lies a quiet girl who does nothing but work and work only. haseul doesn't socialise that often as compared to her friends. i mean, it's a surprise that haseul even has friends because she's just so quiet. she prefers to stick to herself because friends burden her and she doesn't want anymore stress in her life. during break time, tahee would always be the only girl, either practicing or in the corner, holding her phone, awaiting for any messages from her family or any updates on instagram. whenever you talk to her, she'll either ignore you because she did not hear you or because she simply just want to finish her work that she got lazy to answer something that isn't important. she would sometimes just block out the noises or just rush into her room if the others are just plain noisy. she's sort of the lone wolf of the group because she tends to be alone.

finishing something is always haseul's motto. she can never let something go if she doesn't finish it or if she can't do it. she believes that every problem has a solution to, all you need is to look for it. she doesn't give up that easily, which causes some people to think as though she is a smart alec. she just has this feeling, an aura where she might just want to show off, even though it's not even close. she gives off this vibe where she would show people that she could do something that they couldn't do, even though she herself is struggling to keep up. honestly, you can ask some of the other trainees whether or not they like haseul, all of them would hesitate or straight up say no but they need to endure her

although, let's not forget that haseul does have her good side. behind her cold, sarcastic nature, also lies her sort of motherly side. being older than a few of the girls, haseul tends to take care of the younger ones with so much care. she does things that aren't your expectations, such as cooking for them or even just talking to them. haseul just has this feeling where she has the need to protect them, especially since she loves kids. she could drop her whole cold image and act like a mother and would often ask whether or not you're okay. it usually catches others off guard since they had never expected their coldest member to become the mother. however, her motherly side only comes out off camera and not on camera.

— what shaped me into who i am

you wouldn't believe it but as a child, haseul was bullied. it all started when she was age 10. around that time, haseul was known to be "the big kid" in her neighbourhood because she was overweight for her height. she was unfit and couldn't even run a kilometer without stopping every five seconds. you would always see her, munching on something every now and then that everyone started making fun of her. calling her stupid names like "fat pig" or "princess frog". her schoolmates would always throw eggs at her when she would walk around town. some even threw their leftover food at her just for her to eat it. they called her trash and that she belongs in the trash can.

sick of the names that haseul had experienced for over four years, haseul decided to lose the weight. she did not want to be thrown down by a bunch of immature pricks who doesn't know how to treat others with respect. to lose all the weight, haseul decided to exercise and change her diet. in a span of a year, haseul shed her weight rapidly and had finally gained the weight she was going for. let's just say, the other kids were taken aback when they saw a whole new person. she no longer hold those insulting names. in fact, haseul became more popular. she finally had people falling to their knees, quick to apologise for their actions. however, haseul never really cared about them. all she knew was that, she was a new found woman.

that's when haseul found interest in dancing. during her weight losing adventure, haseul stumbled upon def dance. a dance school which accepts anyone, thus haseul went ahead to sign up. from a beginner who knew nothing of dancing, to an aspiring dancer, haseul grew to be one of def dance's most hardworking dancer. that's when haseul decided to audition for an agency. haseul wasted no time but send in videos of her dancing and, surprisingly, rapping to almost every agency that she could think of and most of them accepted her. choosing was never made for haseul. she never liked to choose, so when it came to choosing the agency that she would go to, was one of the hardest decision ever. thankfully, dawon and hoseok came to the rescue and told her to choose whatever her heart chooses. therefore, she ended up in sm at the age of 16. trainee life — haseul experience what every idol wannabes experienced, a harsh scolding every now and then during practice for either missing a beat, forgetting her lyrics or doing something that isn't supposed to be done. in sm, haseul decided to focus more on her raps than her dancing and she was also often praised for her smooth rappings and her originality that showcases in her raps. she had her own swag that no one could do. which was why she was considered for a part in red velvet. the ceo saw how much she had grown over the past few years that they decided to put her in sm rookies, as well as the lineup for red velvet. however, they changed their minds. the ceo decided to pull her out the last minute and decided to put in joohyun, or now known as irene in. they felt that she did not meet the group's concept well and that caused her to be pulled out. honestly, it hurt haseul's pride so much, that she eventually terminated her contract with sm and left. why would they choose someone who isn't that good at rapping over someone like her? that was the only thing that played over and over again in her mind.

it did not take long for the girl to move onto another agency. this time, the agency that her brother is in, bighit entertainment. she noticed how much her brother encouraged her to be part of the agency and how much he convinced her into joining. thus, she did. surprisingly, she got accepted and when she started training, haseul went through the same torture again but this time, she had to endure an overbearing weight on her shoulders. the trainees there often made fun of her for failing to debut, when she is very much older than the rest of them and it stressed the young girl so much that she almost gave up. everywhere she goes, the others would whisper and gossip as though she doesn't exist.

however, everything up, haseul learnt to shut herself out and just focus solely on training and training only. she built walls to protect herself from the harsh words that were being thrown to her and learnt to just accept it or ignore it. seeing such attitude, the ceo decided to let her debut as a soloist under the name soul. her song was released and it eventually became a huge hit. sadly, her scandal with tvxq's changmin brought massive hate towards her and the agency that left bang sihyuk no choice but to cancel all her schedules. she was kept hidden from the public eye for almost a year before she began resurfacing again. this time, as a member of the new girl group.

personality —  changmin is someone who knows what to do. He knows how to act when around women and knows what to say to the elders. He has this certain image where everyone would just fall in love with him and his personality. He is kind and helpful in many ways and he isn't snobby. He knows his limits and doesn't show any sign of being rude. He works hard to achieve something, However, changmin can get annoyed very easily. he can't stand being nagged at and would always just walk out of an argument, because he's done with it. He can also be such a player at some point of time. He takes advantage of his good looks and his personality to score girls.

  HOW THEY MET  
as cliche as it sounds, the two met at sm around 2012. like i said, their meeting is super cliche because it was love at first sight. when they made eye contact, their hearts began fluttering as they maintained the eye contact for what seemed like hours. it only took changmin a few minutes to approach her and befriend her. she was distracting him from so many things and he couldn't get over the fact that he didn't know her. it frustrates him even more that the girl was friends with heechul and he knew that he loved the girl and jealousy was what he was feeling. haseul was actually glad that changmin made the first move to introduce himself, or else she would suffer second hand embarrassment. it shows that he either returned her feelings or he just wanted to be her friend. it gave her some hope that he did like her. the two then became friends.

  HOW THEY FELL IN LOVE  
everyone saw it coming actually. everyone could see how changmin looks at haseul and how haseul looks at changmin. they're eyes read as though they're in love and hell yeah they are. you could sense the love if you hang out with them, as well as the thoughts of "you're third wheeling". that's how much they liked loved each other. honestly, just by seeing each other, any bad day would turn good. everyone wanted them together, especially when they would cuddle with each other or deny that they're dating to their group of friends. they just wanted to get it done with. however, both were too oblivious about each others' feelings.

  HOW THEY GOT TOGETHER  
changmin knew that his feelings would grow one way or another. thus, he planned on confessing to her after two years of friendship. boy, was it a romantic confession. changmin managed to convince heechul and youngho to help out with the confession, especially since they're both haseul's close friends. while he got all the supplies he needed for his confession, heechul and cafe took haseul to a cafe and an arcade to distract her. as cheesy as it may sound, haseul soon went to changmin's apartment, only to find changmin on one knee, holding a bouquet of roses. he confessed to her and asked her to be his girlfriend. however, haseul was hesitant on accepting his confession, especially since she is so close to debuting. she didn't want to be the one to destroy his career, or hers in particular. she was scared yes, but i guess, love is stronger than fear because she decided to say yes. the two then started their secret relationship.

it was bound to happen. having been keeping their relationship from the public for three years, the two knew that it was going to come out anyways. however, they never thought that it would be this early. haseul had just had a comeback as a soloist while changmin had just been released from military duty. it was shocking for the two, when they stumbled upon an article about their relationship, with picture proof. they never thought that they would need to speak out of their relationship this soon. thanks to the scandal, the two went ahead to confirm their three year relationship. not only did it shock the whole cassiopeia, but it also shocked the whole kpop fans. they never thought that changmin would settle down that quick. of course, the amount of hate received by haseul was massive. she couldn't even count the amount of hate comments she would receive whenever she posted something on instagram. she also couldn't even breath properly without being surrounded by fans, throwing mean words towards her for dating their "oppa".
