lol yeah had to chop chpt 10 in half (again....><) like, I swear this story just doesn't want to allow me for it to end! If you are a reader and didn't already know, Prince's Maiden originally was going to be shown in all its glory as a full length story, so like 20-30 chapters. And because of my time schedule and writing projects I like sooo wanna get to already, I decided to try cramming it down to short story at 10 chapters. T'was painful, but I figured I could make it work, and since I plan on turning it into a full length book anyway, I planned on shortening it and get it out of the way for the time being and then add all the extra info in the novel version, which actually might make the adapted version better? idk. then while trying to outline the main points for the last chapter, I realized there was far too much to cram into one infinite (lol) long chapter, so I decided to extend it to 11. Now even that isn't enough and I have forced myself to cut chpt 10 in half again and put it into two parts thennnn have chapt 11 the finale. Like, I can't even say the important plot points exactly and why they can't be overshadowed. I figured if one or more characters had rushed endings to begin with, then what happens in the finale would make those events seem even more rushed and be overshadowed by what happens in the next and final chapter. So yeah, no matter how hard I try butchering this story down to the core main plot points, I refuse to butcher it that badly and release something completely rushed and overall ty. I mean, since the comeback of the story which I think was either chpt 6 or 7 I believe (??), things have been put on full speed when before I planned for it to go on much longer so things were dragged out more. so yeah, feel my stress xD All I've been thinking lately is "damn what am I gonna do fook" and I also didn't want to keep anyone waiting an eternity again for an update so instead on making the wait even longer, I also thought it would be better to at least give y'all something in the least. soooooo yeahhhhhh, that's bout where I am right now xD wish meh luck mah dudes~
