It may have been in the heat of the moment, or because Erika had been keeping too much to herself that she couldn't tell anyone, she drank too much, one thing led to another, and she ended up in bed with a male colleague, who was as drunk as she was. Maybe it was the alcohol, but having never experienced being touched by someone else lovingly before, it felt good for her.
The two just went back to their daily schedules like nothing happened, until Erika found out she was pregnant. Surprisingly, the man who made her pregnant decided to take responsibility and marry her. She registered her marriage quietly and the newly married couple held a celebration with only the other three residents. When she texted her father to tell him she got married, he simply replied "Congratulations". It may have seemed that he was unconcerned, but the truth is he had gotten even busier than before, having changed careers to medical research rather than practise.
It seemed that everything was okay after that, but nobody expected that Erika's husband's life would have been ended by a falling bottle that some drunken teenage punk threw out of an apartment window, and she too had to have an emergency c-section due to collateral damage. There was no way Erika could leave her newborn alone at home while she worked up to 16 hours a day in the ER, and she didn't want to hire a babysitter like what her father did with her. She had promised herself that if she ever had a child, she would never practise "third-party parenting".

When she arrived in Bolin, she checked into a motel for a week to allow herself to find what she needed most urgently then - accomodation. Though her father had saved money for her as a child and she had earnings from her ER days too, they weren't a finite resource and were already running out from the money she was spending on milk and diapers, never mind that the only thing she spent on for herself was food from convenience stores.
Just as she was at her wits' end, Erika managed to find a home near the university that a university student herself was looking for a fellow tenant to share the rental with. When she moved into her new home, she found out that Son Heeyang was a single mother to be, and several students from the latter's uni including Heeyang herself had formed a support group.
Erika decided to go for a support group meeting with Heeyang to see what it would be like, and it turned out better than expected. Though she was at first overwhelmed by their lovebombing, they not only provided her with the emotional support she needed but blessed her with food, diapers and milk powder as well as their unwanted clothes that were still in good condition, and even the clothes they wore as babies and children. Furthermore, they had helped her to get a job as a part-time barista in the university's cafe, and helped to babysit her son when she was at work.
life style: Working days : Erika wakes up at 6 to 7am on a typical working day and her first order of business is to feed her son, Hoshi. She feeds but supplements with formula as she had always had a low milk supply and it just decreased over time. After that, she takes a shower and gets ready for work at the university's cafe. Before going to work, she will drop Hoshi off with any member of the support group who is free for the day. Erika doesn't have fixed working days but she always works an eight hour shift but she adjusts her working hours based on her schedule and activities. Since support group meetings every Monday and Thursday are held in the cafe, Erika knocks off at 5pm on those days and just takes some time to relax during the 1 hour before meetings, her activities during this time consist of reading parenting forums or catching up on social media, though she doesn't really add anyone other than members of the support group, she does follow some celebrities that are parents though (e.g Yebin and Dobin, Song triplets, Qiu Qiu). After she is done with activities for the day, Erika will fetch Hoshi from wherever he is (except on meeting days when whoever has been babysitting him will bring him to the meeting for her convenience), and bathe him before feeding him and putting him to bed, and she'll spend some time preparing her stuff for the next day then read parenting forums and / or go through social media again. She falls asleep at around 11am to 12pm, Hoshi generally sleeps through the night but once in a while wakes up because he's grumpy, hungry or just wants to be carried.

* What is your opinion of the support club?: I really love that the students decided to set up a support group, I was lonely during my uni days and I wished there was someone there for me, and I think students who struggle with social awkwardness can benefit from the support group.
* Are you a regular at Rhi cafe?: I work there, so I'm there almost everyday, so I think I can consider myself a regular.
* What do you normally order at Rhi cafe?: Hot cocoa, I know it's weird for me not to drink coffee when I work at a cafe but I really can't stand coffee, it makes me so anxious and I never manage to fall asleep when I drink it.

* are you more of a helper or a person who needs help?: Both, I don't really need help, more of encouragement, but try to offer some tips when I can to other members, even though I don't really understand their issues sometimes.

* What is your opinion of the support club?: I really love that the students decided to set up a support group, I was lonely during my uni days and I wished there was someone there for me, and I think students who struggle with social awkwardness can benefit from the support group.

* What do you normally order at Rhi cafe?: Hot cocoa, I know it's weird for me not to drink coffee when I work at a cafe but I really can't stand coffee, it makes me so anxious and I never manage to fall asleep when I drink it.

I also recently started watching anime and listening to K-pop music, I also really like this band called Scarlett.
