You there, with the mask... I see you.
We all have masks. We keep parts of us that we think people will judge us for under lock and key, hide them and push them back. We feel like we won't be accepted if we show our true colors.
Let me ask you something that might change how you think about doing that , right now.
Since when did you want to hang out with someone who doesn't want to hang out with the real you? Would you hang out with someone if they told you that you can't like KPop to hang out with them? What about someone who said that because you have blonde hair, you can't be around them? Or black hair? What if someone was judging you on something-- would you hide it? change it just to hang out with them?
Why?
If they don't like you for all of you... did they ever truely like you at all?
There are people out there for everyone. Maybe your friend doesn't like your nasty habbit of picking your nose, scratching your , biting your nails, or something else. Maybe these are things people aren't going to like about you, but you know what? It makes you human.
If you show your humanity to those around you, I bet they will show it back.
When did we stop being humans that poop and pee and have boogers just like everyone else? When did it become "improper" for females to pass gas -- a natural thing -- or improper to burp -- also a natural thing. Why are we so obsesseed with impressing people that, at the end of the day, we don't even like!
Be yourself. Find people who are themselves as well...
The world will be a better place.
