appearance

Oh what a beauty our princess is, a true queen in the making. Eyes as bright as store-bought contact lenses, large and carefully lidded. Nose straight as an arrow, sharp and perfect for her face structure (at least according to the surgeon). Body fit and skin snow white, a gift from the gods (or perhaps from malnutrition?).

But all those dim in front of her hair. Cascading down her back in bleach-burned waves, her locks are pink as roses, pink as cotton candy, pink as the pinkest thing you can ever think of. All of her strength is in her hair, blessed by the hairstyling fairies.

The princess has no need for style, nor does she has the ability to choose one. Outfit differs from outfit in the magical wardrobe of hers, pants and skirts and dresses and shorts, all equally worn. Neutral colors of nature are the most prominent, as fit for a princess. From time to time, when the stars are favorable, she would opt for a colorful outfit, for the gods of adventure are shining upon her and she must honor their choice. They cannot stay for long, and she will be back to her usual self by the next morning. Such is the life of a princess.

TRAITS:

give a little love ambitious, enthusiastic, sociable, encouraging, patient, playful
 clumsy, perfectionist, self-critical, competitive, emotional
hesitant, overly-planning, overly-thinking, has to be in control, a tad insecure, envious poor unfortunate soul

Our little princess isn't really uptight, she just needs to have a plan in front of her before she does anything of importance. Whether it's an interview, filming, performance or just an important conversation; she will come prepared. If you see her doing adlibs during a performance, they have been prepared in advanced and practiced to perfection. It makes her a great organizer, but surprise parties and the such of them are a big no-no. She needs to feel in control of her life, of the situation she's in, and that's why she spends a copious (and often times unnecessary) amount of time preparing - practicing until the small hours (sleep is a luxury rather than a necessity for her), preparing possible interview answers in advance and memorising it by heart, thinking about every single possible outcome in a certain situation and how she will react to each of them... Hwari really tends to overthink things. Being her own worst critic, she demands perfection from herself, to know how to act in every situation, what to expect and so on. Obviously, she can't, and when the situation slips out of her control she tends to low-key freak out, mostly on the inside but sometimes on the outside as well.

The tendency to overthink and overplan are what also make Hwari hesitant. She isn't one to decide things quickly - hell, it takes her forever to even decide what dish she will have at a restaurant. She doesn't like making rush decisions and rarely takes any risks. She doesn't like this and is working on changing it by taking small steps towards taking risks and be less hesitant - even if it's only small things like dying her hair a crazy color, for now, she is getting there, slowly but surely.

Her ambition is what drives Hwari to improve more and more and do everything she can to achieve her dreams. At first, she was mostly driven to become better than the other trainees in the company, but during an intense intervention, one of her trainers had said that she will only achieve greatness if she'll compete with herself. She took his advice to her heart, and now she tries to focus on the need to improve rather than her competitiveness (but damn, changing oneself is hard). It doesn't mean she is no longer a competitive person though, quite on the contrary. Hwari wants to be the best. And it doesn't matter if it's as simple as a drinking competition; she just loves the thrill of it. And even though she is ambitious, insecurity is something Hwari has to deal with. Past experiences (most notably her absolutely awful audition for YG) had made her a bit insecure of herself and her skills. Basically, she dreams big but isn't actually sure if she'd be able to achieve said dreams.

Hwari likes to be around people; she is always sociable and enjoys hearing different opinions. She also likes teasing and goofing around, and is pretty playful as a whole. She also really enjoys skinship. Most times she is rather pleasant to have around - thanks to her sociable and playful persona - and is a great conversationist. She is patient with others, encouraging, and gives her honest opinion and advice.

Hwari is an emotional person, though she tries to hide it. Emotional stories - both sad and happy - move her, and even though she hates it, she sometimes (like, a lot of times) ends up crying during the show. She tries to act all professional about it, but yeah... she's kind of failing.

Once upon a time

In the (not so small) city of Seoul, there lived a couple. Freshly married, freshly indebt from the expenses of the magical, magical wedding, the couple did what every couple did when they received their happy ever after. They banged. And thus our princess was born - Princess Hwari of the Min House. The princess grew up surrounded by magic (because Seoul wifi truly is magical), and naturally, as every princess does, she grew up to love music. Perhaps it was the fact that her mother was a pianist, perhaps it was the magical animals forcing her to sing for their own sick pleasure, but Princess Hwari can't remember a time when music wasn't a part of her life.

Because she was a princess, it was only natural that Hwari was proficient in the art of singing. Bird, mice, stray cats and choir teachers camped under the window of her tower (, wrong princess) to hear her melodic voice. Princess Hwari herself was also quite fond of her vocals and of singing as a whole, but it wasn't until she had witnessed the performance of the queens of the oceans - also known as the bringers of the generation of girls - that she decided that she wants to become a queen of a sea of fans herself. Her parents - the not-so-young-anymore-couple - were ecstatic. Their little princess has finally decided to become a queen.

The quest to become a queen was known to be a rough, long, foreboding task, but Princess Hwari wasn't deterred. She traveled to the palace of the YG kingdom, determined to showcase her beautiful vocals to the evil witch YG... only to have him laugh at her face. "You are not fit for a queen," he said. "We have no wish for princesses like you in our kingdom."

Princess Hwari was crushed. Evil thoughts and doubts corrupted her young, innocent mind, poisoning her. She was not good enough to be a queen. She was never meant to be a queen. The evil queen had set the first stepping stone in the question that our princess asks herself to this day - should she really be a performer? Should she actually become a queen? Rejection had made her think she wasn't good enough, and her efforts were all for vain. Months passed until she was courageous enough to try again, this time for a smaller kingdom by the name of Cube. The king of Cube was evil himself, but he was not unreasonable. He saw raw skill and potential in Princess Hwari and offered her to become a ward in his kingdom and to train with the other princes and princesses. Fearing that this might be her only chance to ever become a queen, Princess Hwari immediately agreed.

What happened next to Princess Hwari? What were the evil king's plans? Our story is far from over, children. Find it all out... in the training section.

trivia
  • Here's the thing. Hwari is clumsy. Like... super clumsy. There are too many clips of her stumbling,
    falling, breaking things, and being clumsy in general around the internet. It's pretty funny to watch;
actually. That, combined with being quite easy to startle results in some hilarious clips.

  • The emotional romantic hidden deep inside of her enjoys the tacky romantic themes of KDramas

  • Her most favorite group ever is Girls Generation, but she's a loyal Cube hoe. CLC, Jo Kwon, she loves
them dearly. the knights born to beat are AMAZING, and the goddess Hyuna is a blessing to this cursed,
cursed earth. She's very starstruck about her co-labels, they're basically the old brothers and sisters
    she idolizes into practically godhood.

  • While she's not exceptionally talented at playing the piano, she enjoys playing and is above average,
which is good enough to impress others but isn't actually that impressive.

  • She has a tendancy of touching others; hugging, holding hands, even just being close. It translates
well on screen, as fans go crazy for this kind of fanservice.

  • Has a very one-sided crush on BtoB's Sungjae - as in, she thinks he's absolutely perfect while he
doesn't know she exists. You know, the usual teen stuff

  • Also has a HUGE girl crush on Hyuna. And she fangirls hard.

  • When Hwari's attempting to communicate in English it's a rather funny sight. She sounds good when
she sings in English, but when she speaks everyone can tell she doesn't know what she's talking about.

  • She trained with most of G-Idle before they debuted.

  • She is very good friends with Yuqi and Soyeon, and it's kind of weird that she isn't in a group with them.

trainee life
The king of the Cube kingdom wanted to use Princess Hwari and her beautiful voice, for she was powerful in the queen magic even with so little training. But train she must. The king thought that she must learn and train more before embarking on her quest to become a queen. To the training fairy godmothers the young princess was sent.

Training under the fairy godmothers was tough, tiring but also very rewarding. Skilled and knowledgeable were the fairies in their training areas, and Princess Hwari grew with each day passing, becoming better and better, more fit to be a queen. But the fairy godmothers had seen that the princess was facing some troubles in her training - while Princess Hwari had strong ambitions and big dreams, she was unsure of herself and planned everything to the point of it not being sincere. The fairies knew that in order to become a true queen, one must be able to be more fun, to let loose once in a while, to be able to showcase raw emotions on stage. The fairy godmother of vocals decided that she must teach the princess that lesson. And so she did. Through an intervention. Sad was Princess Hwari, but she took that advice to heart. Changing oneself is a gruesome task, even for the most hardened warriors, but Princess Hwari stood bravely in the face of danger. With each day passing, she worked more and more on herself as well as on her skills. A year and a half later, she was still training hard, still working on changing. Slowly but surely she was making progress, and the fairy godmothers approved of her.

Meanwhile, the evil king of Cube suffered great loses in the war against the other kingdoms - four out of five queens had abandoned his side, with only the goddess Hyuna left to bless them in the great war. Five out of his six fearsome beasts had switched to the highlight side as well. Only the knights born to beat stayed by his side. His crystal clear princess and the warriors of the Pentagon order were no match for the forces of the other kingdoms. His last chance was the group of Idle Sorceresses he was preparing for battle. The group was beautiful and skilled but lacked the raw power that could swing the tides of war in their favor. Hwari, as it was, had the exact raw power the king hoped for. Although she was young and inexperienced, she possessed great skill and resolution. The evil king thought she might just save his kingdom from losing the war. But the fairy godmothers advised otherwise - they did not want to see the young princess suffer the horros of war in her unprepared state, as she was still not powerful enough on the magic of performance and still had not reached the level of sincerity that they had hoped for.

No matter how hard Princess Hwari begged and begged, the king did not relent. "You are not yet powerful enough to join the ranks of the Idle Sorceresses, you must train more if you wish to survive the grand war and raise to become a queen." But Hwari begged and begged, and vowed to do anything in her power to help her kingdom in the great war. She promised not to disappoint the king and to bring honor to the kingdom.

Torn was the king, for he was moved by the plight of the young princess, but the warnings of the godmothers rang in his ears. He knew that Princess Hwari was not ready yet, but he knew that the only way to be truly ready is to get on the battlefield and embark on the journey towards queenhood. And so he chose to test the young princess.

The king decided to send her to a tournament, where she was going to compete with ninty eight other princesses of the warring kingdoms. If she was to impress him and the other kings during thr tournaments, he would add her to the ranks of the Idle Sorceresses, and if she was to win she would bring great fame and fortune to the Cube Kingdom. If she was not, then she would spend more time in the training dungeon. There were only winners in his most brilliant of plans.
So will Princess Hwari be able to win? Will she be able to restore the Cube kingdom to its previous greatness? Or will she return to the dank training dungeon for years, wishing to see the light of the sun, waiting for the day where she could embark on her quest once more?

previous experience

- She sang the female vocals in BtoB's Blowin' Up, and loved every second of it.
