PERSONALITY:

destiny is no different to any other growing teenagers in the 21st century. Teens these days are pretty much exposed to all kinds of things, despite it being something they can't see nor watch. Influenced by all the vulgars and erted things on the internet, destiny came to be a 17 year old whom is nothing close to innocent or cute. destiny is known to be erted but intelligent girl. Everything done by destiny, is done with effort and she has placed her thoughts into it. Although when she can't seem to achieve a solution on her problems, she never gives up and would keep trying because she believes that everything is possible. which leads to her brave personality. destiny dares to go against anyone that either disagrees with her or something that obstructs her from moving forward. she doesn't care about them because all she cares about is her achievements, and what not. even when the person obstructing her is her unnies, she wouldn't mind going all informal and drop honorifics if they stand in her way because she thinks that who are they to stop her from doing the things he want?

destiny is like any other maknae. those who loves to prank their unnies and just blurt out secrets or some sassy comeback to knock them down or make them speechless. she loves attention and tends to try and stay in the middle of the spotlight by speaking out her mind or just opening none stop, blurting out unnecessary words that doesn't even relate to the subject the group was talking about. people tend to classify destiny as a "4d" personality, but destiny herself disagrees. she thinks that her personality, is something more unique, which means that destiny has a lot of pride and dignity. she has such a thick skull that she can't even mutter a sorry when done wrong. she would always wait for the right moment to act as though nothing has happened and would always avoid that subject, in fear that she would have to apologise.

as i said earlier, destiny can be a savage maknae. she loves to joke around, have fun because she's still young. she has not reached his 20s yet which means that she would always unnies about being young. she often sass and become a sarcastic especially during interviews or variety shows and she wouldn't know when to keep it shut. some might think that she's arrogant and only loves herself because she always laughs at others either because of their failure or because of their stupid actions. now, in comes her erted side. even at the age of 17, destiny knows a lot about dirty things. she knows all about and tends to link everything with something dirty, especially a banana, which she calls "a bananadick". her mind is corrupted by thoughts that aren't even supposed to be in her head in the first place.

another things about destiny that might shock all of you is that, she thinks before she acts. yeah, surprising but this applies to when she's doing an action. she thinks of the consequences of her actions, but not her words. makes sense? for example, destiny would try and be careful of her actions because you might never know what eyes are looking at you. even though she doesn't give to flakes of about the other's opinions, since she cares so much about her reputation, she tends to take at least an hour just to make a decision, whether or not to do that certain action. however, this does not apply to her words said, because as said, destiny is too blunt to even care. although, destiny is pretty positive about everything. even when something bad happened to her, she would just smile it off before thinking about happy thoughts. she doesn't like to feel down because she feels that she has a reputation to take care of. she doesn't want to be a rude maknae on camera, hell no.

BACKGROUND:

growing up in chino, california in a house filled with playful males, destiny too grew up and became one of the boys. what do i mean? destiny lost her mother to cancer at the age of three, leaving her in the hands of her elder brother and father. well, her father had troubles coping with his wife's death and how she left him with two children, both still young and was in the brink of sanity. he had to work long hours just to feed his children and pay the bills for their small house. sadly, his hard work did not pay off as the three had to move out of their house due to unpayed bills. not knowing what to do, destiny's father resulted to moving into his wife's sister's house.

now in destiny's perspective, she rarely saw her father because he was often busy with his work as a construction worker, where he often crash in the dorm due to exhaustion. destiny never blamed him though, she knew how much her father is trying his best to give her and her brother a living and an education, which is why she never once complained about it, plus, she had her two elder cousins, her loving aunt and her wonderful elder brother acompanying her, which made her happy. she grew to love them all and let's just say, she became quite well known on the way

when destiny was only thirteen, she was often found in her elder cousin's vine videos as well as his best friends' vine videos. she was often used as an actress since destiny had an interest in it and the fangirls of her cousin and his friends, dubbed and know her as "the korean girl". not only that, but destiny also had her own youtube channel called "destinydallas" which she often posts videos of her singing and dancing to recent songs, and she soon earned a spot to tour with the magcon boys, much to her father's disapproval.

right after her father found out that destiny was invited to travel with cameron and some other boys around the whole of the us, he was quick to disapprove. he was worried because she was going to turn fourteen and she would be surrounded by a lot of other boys, no wait, other teenage boys who might hurt her, but destiny was quick to assure her father that she would be fine because she had her brother to follow her along and soon, her father was forced to comply with his daughter's decisions, because who was he to not approve? he had basically missed his daughter growing up due to his work.

for a few months, destiny was busy touring with the magcon boys. she filmed with them and even sung alongside shawn and jack&jack. it was basically one of the best moments in destiny's life. however, when it was announced that the tour was breaking up, desitny was a crying mess because she loved it around the boys, but she knew that this was what they wanted. ever since the tour broke up, destiny found it hard to sing and record because it would just remind her the times and memories she had with the other boys. that's when kpop comes in.

destiny never knew kpop existed up until one of her close friends from school introduced a kpop group called "big bang" with their song "fantastic baby" and she fell in love with them straight away. she began digging deeper into the kpop fandom and let's just say, it became an obsession for her. it's as though she forgot all about the pain on the break up of magcon and only knows about kpop. her dream of becoming one of the most well known youtubers just changed in a blink of an eye because she soon began dreaming about being stage as one of the kpop idols, with many fangirls and fanboys, chanting your name.

destiny managed to convince her father to let her audition for one of the big agencies called yg entertainment but was given the condition on auditioning with her brother. of course, destiny just yelled out a loud yes before filling out the form and sending yg videos of her singing and dancing. hours turned to days and days turned to weeks and weeks soon turned to months. destiny never got any reply from yg, making her lose her hopes of getting accepted. however, the feelings was soon replaced with delight once she found the email about her getting accepted as a trainee. her brother? well, he got accepted as well and not long after they found out, they wasted no time but to fly to korea and start training, destiny as an idol while her brother as a model.

LIKES:

✩ black + her favourite colour because it's simple and easy to find

✩ hip hop (Eminem, Lil wayne, Ice Cube etc.) + destiny likes a variety of music genres. one being hip hop because she finds inspiration from the rappers

✩ rock music (Pierce the Veil, Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance etc.) + the only reason she like their songs was due to the fact that one of her groupmates was constantly ranting on how my chemical romance disbanded and so she checked them out and fell in love

✩ drawing / sketching + hse doesn't have talent in sketching or drawing at all, in fact she can only draw a stick man but she uses sketching to kill time when she's in the practice room

✩ exercising + ever since she became a trainee, she found out that maintaining a body was quite important, so she convinced her elder brother to follow along and it became a routine for the two

✩ ramen + surprising as it is, destiny has an obsession with ramen, where she can eat it almost everyday and not get sick. whenever she is asked at to what food she wants to eat, she would suggest ramen and would suggest until she finally gets it

✩ horror movies (or anything related to horror) + she doesn't get scared of jumpscares that easily. she can easily maintain a straight face when a jumpscare would find itself on screen and would often laugh at the others who were struggling to keep up

DISLIKES:

✩ skinship + there's no real explaination as to why destiny hates it but she just finds skinship slightly cringey. however, she only allow her brother, cousins and her closest friends to hug or acknowledge a skinship because she feels comfortable around them

✩ dairy products + she once got sick because she accidentally ate food with milk as one of its ingredients and since then she hated dairy products. it is also due to her being lactose

✩ serious people + it is due to the fact that destiny is actually a playful girl. she likes to joke around and tease others but when she's around serious people, she tends to get bored easily since they don't laugh at her silly actions or lame jokes

✩ spicy food + she has a low tolerance of spicy food. in simple words, she cannot eat spicy food or else she would turn red like a tomato an sweat buckets

✩ food rich with calories + similar to kim jongkook, destiny doesn't really like to eat food that fattens her. it started ever since she started working out at the gym. destiny says that they aren't exactly that healthy so she avoids them at full cost

✩ cringey jokes + being a prankster, hearing a bad joke just hurts destiny's pride. she finds that it would ruin all of the comedians' reputation if someone were to make a cringey joke and would often roast those who does a bad joke

✩ being a burden + destiny doesn't like to bring people down just because she's lacking or does something foolish because she would forever feel sorry for her actions and would often try to avoid being a burden by perfecting every movement

HABITS:

✩ Bites lips when nervous + she tries hard not to bite her nails because it's an unhealthy habit, but instead, she chose to bite and chew off from her lips. her lips are often found chapped, to which she always apply lip balm

✩ cussing in english + ever since she started youtube, she has been influenced by all the bad swear words and that now it has become part of her vocabulary. she tends to just scream out cuss words especially the word ""

✩ raises her eyebrows when lying + she can easily be called "the second top" due to her small habit of raising an eyebrow when she lies. "it's genes" is what she would usually use as an excuse but it's sort of due to her always raising an eyebrow when confused with caused this small habit to form

✩ laughs sarcastically when annoyed + to others, it might not be a habit. however, to destiny, it's a habit that she cannot avoid doing even if she tries to stop it. it shows off her annoyed emotions because she would just cut the person off with her sassy laughter

✩ sings when doing something challenging + literally. she would just sing one verse of a song if she's doing something that is challenging, such as rock climbing. she feels like it's a way to calm her down that it slowly becomes a habit of hers

✩ sneezing when smelling perfume + destiny has a sensitive nose, which means she can't exactly stay in an air conditioned room for too long because would start feeling slight pain on her nose. similarly, she would always sneeze whenever the smell of perfume diffuse into the room.

HOBBIES:

✩ watching horror movies + whenever destiny gets bored, she would just turn on any horror films and watch it, be it the movie or is very good, she would just watch it nonetheless because she just wants to kill time until she has something better to do

the two have a normal sibling relationship. always getting into small fights but yet, they need each other by their sides despite their arguments. brandon is the serious yet overprotective brother who can't let his sister out of his sight. he loves her to the max and does whatever he can to make her happy. this is due to the fact that his father pushed full responsibility for his sister's well being in korea and he wouldn't want to let his father down. destiny loves her brother to bits and is his shoulder to cry on and depend a lot on him because she knows that he would try his best to help her solve her problems. however, he is currently in a relationship with destiny's rival, haerin, which sort of repels destiny from her brother because he is always seen with haerin. she is trying hard to support their relationship and be a good sister, but deep down, she knows that her soul would never support their relationship.

the person who started it all. yes, the cameron dallas just so happens to be destiny's older cousin. he was the reason why destiny started posting youtube videos and is also one of the reasons why destiny is in love with performing as well. he introduced her to many people which includes the magcon boys and tries to include her in every vine video made by him or youtube video made by him because he loves and adore his cousin a lot. he finds that since she's five years younger than him, he should at least take care of her and her well being if she stays at his house and he did. even though cameron was the funny type of guy, he becomes serious whenever destiny is included in the conversation. he doesn't like it when others talk badly about destiny and would always try to defend her in multiple ways.

while growing up, destiny never really talked or hung out with sierra because she was nine years older than her. destiny felt intimidated whenever she sees sierra and tries her best to avoid her. however, as time pass by, destiny finds herself crawling towards sierra whenever she needs some girl talk because obviously cameron and brandon can't help her with those. therefore, she grew closer to the once said girl who intimidated her. sierra tries to help destiny with things that only girls experience such as first crush, first heartbreak as well as destiny's first menstruation. she was sort of the mother figure in destiny's life because she was there whenever she needed her to be there

thanks to the idiot cameron, the two met on such a weird circumstances that it actually took destiny about two months to finally open up and talk to him. ever since that day, nash became destiny's first friend to ever see her while not in the shower. yes, they met when destiny was in the room, changing her attire after a long day at school. cameron, forgetting that his baby cousin was changing, went ahead to open the door with nash beside him, only to see a thirteen year old destiny in the middle of the room with nothing but an underwear on. since that day, the two became pretty awkward with one another but they managed to overcome the awkward tension and became close friends to this day, even though cameron and nash got into a small fight which caused magcon to break up. nash is actually the shoulder destiny can cry on because he has hella good advice.

the boys she grew to love during her time in magcon. at first, it was awkward for destiny because she was the youngest (minus hayes) amongst all of them, however, over time, she outgrew her shy facade and showed the boys her energetic and sassy side. she loves the boys and are still contacting them. amongst the boys, she is closest to shawn because he has the same interest, and that is singing. they often sung on stage together and they often share rooms together, which always ends with cameron crashing into the room because he doesn't want his cousin to be in a room alone with another boy. most of the videos posted by destiny mostly consist of him and the other magcon boys, to which it always ends up in a smacking contest. ever since the tour broke up, each has gone their separate ways but they're still contacting one another and shawn often talk about destiny during interviews and often expresses how much he would love to collab with her.

this rivalry is only one sided and surprise surprise, destiny is the one that hates her guts. she doesn't have a specific reason as to why she hates this small bean of a girl but she claimed that it is due to her being everywhere she goes. at first, haerin and destiny met at yg entertainment, where haerin was a trainee there and was a sunbae trainee. during her time in yg, destiny was often compared to haerin. be it her looks or her vocals but the trainers would always compare the two which made destiny hate her guts. leaving yg and joining dream t, destiny thought that she would finally stop hearing the comparisons but nope. halfway through her training, she was met with haerin who was then introduced as the new trainee. it only made her hate the girl more than she already hated her. not only that, but she was also dating destiny's brother, which forced destiny to hide her full hatred for the girl

euijeong and destiny first met during the dance practice for minah's new song and let's just say the two did not exactly get along because they were trying hard to proof to one another that they're the best out of the dancers. they often fought backstage and would always find ways to pick on the other. however, ever since euijeong left to train as an idol, destiny missed fighting with him. she missed his presence and because of that, she contacted the male and they became close friends. euijeong is the male responsible for destiny's meeting with blanc7 and is also responsible for the budding romance between her and one of his groupmates. not only that, he also helped her improve in her dancing because he knew how much she at it (not exactly)
