I was in the mood for doing a writing meme because I'm a terrible procrastinator. Took questions from here! (Beware, my grammar and general care for the English language decreased over the timeline of answering questions.)

Is there a specific drink you like to have when you’re writing?
OKAY well I'm at home and that means I can only have water but I really really like drinking cold brew while writing! Not sure why but the caffeine really helps my thought process, but the same goes for hw too. I just love coffee sue me

What time of day do you think is the best to write?
Past midnight for sure! If I have a deadline or exam coming up, even better!!!!!11!!!11!

Where do you write best?
On my bed because bLANKETS

Do you do word sprints?  If so, for how long do you do them, and what’s your average word count?
No, but I'd be interested in trying one! I have a feeling that my average word count would be pretty low because I don't always plan out my fics

Do you write when you travel?  If so, where is the farthest away from home that you’ve written?
Actually not sure how to answer this question?? I write during the school year when I'm not at home, but technically I live there during the majority of the year, but I also know that doesn't really count and I don't have the privilege of traveling right now because I'm very busy

Do you share your work before it’s finished?
YES. Pretty all of my friends I've made on AFF who I also talk to on messenger or something have seen snippets of future parts of my fics or future fic ideas

Which character that you’ve written is most like yourself?
Hmm I'm actually not so sure about this one? I'm tempted to say Hana from Wolves because @turdfondler has said that and she knows me irl

Which character is your favorite to write?  Why?
Hana from Wolves! I just generally like the business!au setting and I really enjoy the character having so much power yet being so restrained at the same time

How long is your current work in progress (words or pages)?
ALL MY POSTED FICS ARE A WIP
I know the longer ones are going past 150k at this point and that's all I know

Do you have a specific philosophy that you go by when you write?
Keep characters within their character design which is like 50% of the struggle

What were your favorite books as a child?
The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baronness Orczy

Do you read while writing, or try to split it up?
Split it up for sure! I would get nothing done if I read while writing

Which authors or styles do you try to emulate in your writing?
Good ones
Jk but I think I answered this on my curious cat? Alexandre Dumas is amazing, and so is Douglas Adams, but I am nowhere close to either style 

Would you want your books to be made into a TV show or movie?  Why or why not?
PROBABLY NOT I'm not confident enough for my stuff to be released to the general public and for a wide array of viewers. On top of that I'm pretty sure some of my writing would be considered leftist propoganda at this point

How do you plan your writing?
What's that never heard of her
okay but I sometimes make rough outlines? when I say rough I mean really really rough. I know the beginning and the ending, and when I get lost in the middle I sometimes make a list of events that need to happen in future chapters

Do you write on a computer or on paper?  What program, or what type or paper/pen?
Microsoft Word is either my life saver or the bane of my existence there's no in between

Is there a specific category or genre your writings generally fall into?  Which?
Drama, I think?

Would any characters from one of your works go well with your others?
I don't think so? I don't really write characters intended for pairings, but Jimin from Wolves needs someone special in his life because he deserves that and so much more

all of my current works are in monochrome!

Do you create aesthetics for your writing, ie. on pinterest or tumblr?  If so, what’s the board or tag?
yesss I do but I'm not going to share them because I like making my own graphics per chapter instead of combining aesthetics

Do you listen to music when you write?
Depends on what I'm writing! Usually no because I get distracted, but sometimes during lighter scenes, I listen to slower music. If I'm really in the mood to mess around with everyone I listen to Black Nut's 100

Do you make playlists for your works in progress, characters, or scenes?
I started making a playlist for 94!

Do you prefer first or third person?  Why?
It really depends on the fic and what the characters need! I have used both

How do you defeat writers’ block?
LOL I DON'T IT DEFEATS ME
but I usually take a few days off and try to explore the city? I usually don't go back to writing until I want to

How often do you write?
Pretty often? I would say every other day when I'm not busy

Have you ever done NaNoWriMo?
Yikes no I don't think I'm capable

What’s your inspiration for writing?
I don't think I have a good answer for this? It's a combination of the people I write about and a bunch of scenarios that I come up with

What’s your favorite part about writing?
I think it's the satisfaction after posting a chapter and seeing readers tell me they enjoyed it! Vocal readers make writing so much more enjoyable

What fic's setting would you want to try to live in? Why?
NONE because I wouldn't enjoy any of their lives or backgrounds. I get that probably sounds harsh because I wrote it, but all of the stories the characters are fit for the environment they're in, and I'm really not. Except for 88, I don't really think I would be able to live in any of them

Pick one of your characters. What's their favorite drink to order?
I'll do two, just for fun! Hana from Wolves would order an iced mocha, light on the ice. She likes her sugar! Byul from 94 likes her coffee black and very strong! 

Are you an avid reader?
I used to be! I have limited time now and I really wish I could go back to reading more often

Have you met anyone that has helped you become a better writer? 
I've met a ton of people on the site who have helped me (sooyoung2345, Emilieee, imrapunzel, nyamnyamnyam, SkyeButterfly, undergroundmuses, fs1919 and so many more! my subscribers who leave me encouraging comments/messages/etc. have really helped me on my journey though and I couldn't have come this far without them)! Sometimes they help by inspiring me, sometimes they help by coming up with hilarious crack scenarios (CHANCROC), and sometimes they read over my stuff and help my grammar (aka Nana she's the best please go send her your love). 

Is there a general take-away message from your fics?
I would say kind of, and I really want readers to finish reading with a little bit more empathy than what they started with

Any fun facts about your fics?
All of them have an LGBTQ+ character! Have fun trying to figure out who it is in each story!

Have you ever killed a main character?

Being told that writer's block doesn't exist

Wow I hope that's enough

Okay, I'm melting. Not like Wicked Witch of the West melting, but I HATE THE HEAT (so does my laptop? it keeps overheating and crashing). For those who don't know a lot about me, I have pretty severe heat aversion, or heat intolerance, which means that I have a pretty rough time during summer. During the school year I don't get any sort of air conditioning because I am in an area that doesn't need it during the majority of the year, but ofc global warming doesn't care and neither do landlords of that region. However, I'm at home right now, and it's very very hot. Or, it was. It rained today and now it's just humid. I could do with a milkshake, or an endless supply of ice. But instead I have rice in my fridge and that's about it

Anyway, any movie recommendations? Just keep in mind that I tend to get bored with movies very easily (but I watched Kung Fu Panda the other day so what do I know). I'm on a Sherlock and Black Mirror binge and I'm also very very into the Rare Earth channel on Youtube rn. I still need to watch Incredibles 2 and I'm just very behind in pretty much everything :))
