☼ music as an avid listener and creator, hyeonseok basically lives and breathes music. it's always been there for him. and if you asked him what his favorite genre is, he'd say it's a duel between hip-hop and r&b.

☼ heartache unfortunately, hyeonseok kind of has a bit of experience when it comes to this. heartache is a terrible feeling. he doesn't want to experience it anymore, and he wouldn't wish the hurt upon anyone.
☼ misunderstandings there would be less problems if people just took the time to talk to each other honestly as opposed to getting mad right at once. communication saves lives, y'all.
☼ hospitals for hyeonseok, hospitals are sad places. he hates the smell of antiseptic. he hates the way being in one makes him feel. there's always that energy of hurt, sickness, and death. i mean, it's not like he actively avoids hospitals. he just prefers not to visit them anymore because in spite of having some decent memories at hospitals, he only remembers pain.
☼ societal conformity to an extent, conformity can be a relatively good thing and can provide a basis for unity. but what hyeonseok doesn't like is when others conform simply for the sake of conforming. he doesn't like the imagery of society mass producing humans like a robot factory. he believes that it's better to embrace individuality and make the best of it regardless of what societal standards may stress.

☼ when he was in elementary school, his parents asked him if wanted to get the vision correction surgery for his myopia since it wasn't too bad and would be an easy fix. he said no because if his parents made him like this, he was gonna stay that way. and he was okay with it because glasses are a cool 2-in-1 accessory/aid. i mean, look at all of those people with perfect vision who appropriate poor vision culture by wearing those fake lenses. they'd agree that glasses look cool. and if anything, contact lenses are a thing, so he sometimes wears those.
☼ the tattoo on his neck is representative of his mother, who always had a sense of admiration for plum blossoms. one fond memory that hyeonseok has of his mother is when a neighbor once suggested, since she loved the blossoms so dearly, that she have her plum tree "frozen" so that the tree would blossom eternally. freezing is a common method used to preserve the state of a plant; a good majority of plants in 2123 are frozen at their prime to retain their beauty. but his mother said that if the tree blossomed forever, the novelty would wear off. the plum blossoms would no longer be special, as it is the transience of nature that makes it all the more beautiful. and if she had the tree frozen, the tree would no longer produce fruit.
☼ hyeonseok believes that his great-great grandmother was seriously the most badass woman alive. she was an activist who heavily advocated for civil rights and was arrested 53 times total for protesting. she also spent a good portion of her life volunteering herself to go to former war zones to detonate mines. talk about a role model.
☼ there is a sword hung up on the wall of hyeonseok's living room. it is hundreds of years old and is a family heirloom that has been passed down to the first-born of each generation on his mother's side. this sword will then go to hyeonseok's first child when they turn 20.

comments : uhhhsuggestions : hmm... i don't really have any suggestions, but i feel like hyeonseok, while getting along well with the rest of the team, would find himself being soft towards the puppeteer because he does have a lot of younger siblings, and i'm sure she'd remind him of his sisters. aside from that (switching topics completely), i think you have an opportunity to play around with everyone's moral compasses with this story.
