Favourite kind of relationship in stories?

The title says it all:

love-hate relationship?

Friends to lovers?

Strangers meeting under weird circumstances?

Boss-employer?

Neighbours?

I don't have anything coming to mind anymore, ahah.

Personally, my favourite would be strangers meeting under weird circumstances but love-hate relationships are my guilty pleasure.

Also, what would you complain about when it comes to the way they are wrote? ( not necessarily your favourite, talking about everything)

I complain a lot about how cliche love-hate relationships are (specifically rivals to lovers) but lowkey I'm stalking every story with them.

My main issues with cliches are that a lot are badly written. I actually don't really hate it when people use cliches because cliches became cliches for a reason, because people liked them so much, they're getting overused. So yeah, that's just basically my complaints I guess lmao. (But seriously, I want characters to hate each other over a common trait or businesses issues and then asdfghjklasdfghjkl)

I personally find them all intriguing if someone know how to write them. As a writer, I'll try it all since people in real life meets under many circumstances.

Romantically, I love the friends to lovers, the strangers and to some degree the neighbors. I really dislike enemies to lovers and boss-employee can be really weird if not done correctly. ;;
Though, my top favorite kind of romantic relationship in fics is the established one. Yes pls. <3
Mostly, though, I can deal with pretty much any relationship if done right. ;; (Except enemies to lovers, I really don't like that one).

If I was to complain about something, tho, it's when they're written as love-at-first-sight or the whole "im in love with this mysterious man" and ya'know, i've done a few of them myself but still, it annoys me greatly because i never really get to feel like i can relate to both characters. ; _ ; (Also, i've never fallen in love at first sight so gah, no way to relate there either, haha).

Love-hate relationships (for me) is only ... idk, they're down at the bottom with enemies to lovers unless it's just a part of the relationship dynamic where the couple can tease each other in good fun yet still love each other a lot. ; _ ;

I like Friends-to-Lovers stories ;A; it happens to me always

My guilty pleasure is probably Love-Hate relationships.

But I cannot stand "Love at first sight" where being pretty/handsome automatically makes the protagonist fall for the other. =A= I don't mind the looks being acknowledged but can you mention other things please? hahaha

I like hate relationships as the main relationship.
not love/hate but just PURE hatred.

I like it when two characters are just set to hate each other and they have so much uncontrollable hatred towards each other that it's perfect. archenemies. it's even better when two characters used to love each other (both platonic and romantic) and slowly developed hatred. mostly because those can be the most heart-wrenching to see, say, two siblings separating as different parts of society distort their perspective of each other until the end, where they're forced to hate each other. (in fact, I'm writing about twins that hate each other :D) so, perhaps love-hate? but as in love --> hate, not hate --> love, or hate/love at the same time.
the hatred has to be reasonable, however, so no cliche stuff like the typical mean girl hating someone bc they stole their boyfriend. true, deep hatred is what I want. (e.g. misunderstandings on both sides, attempts to destroy someone's reputation and position, murder (??), revenge, betrayal, etc, etc.) and even better, scenarios where characters hate each other but can't show it on the outside bc they have to keep it in.

aijfaosnfaoisc THERE'S JUST TOO MANY THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH NEGATIVE FEELINGS and I love them so much.
and ik this makes me seem like such a hater but I'm not. I just love diversity in relationships and things that go against the typical guidelines of things people need to write for the readers to enjoy it. orz
