→ huang mingzhu is a petite girl who stands at 161 cm and weighs around 45 kg or less. she has pale, light tanned skin that complimented by her natural all black hair. mingzhu's eyes are a dark chocolate brown, with a small mole on the left outter edge of her left eye. she has no scars or birthmarks, just a couple of moles spread throughout her body.

"hello, it's nice to meet you." • mingzhu is a very polite person. she always makes sure to show respect to those around her, regardless of who they are. she's seen as being quite well behaved around her sunbaes, mostly because she always does a ninety degree bow and makes sure not to make direct eye contact with them out of respect.
"no worries, i will get it done." • having always been a responsible person, mingzhu never leaves things unfinished. she makes sure to do what's expected of her, keeping a sensible attitude with everything she does. she's overall very dependable and easily relied on.

"i'll be okay..." • stemming from her generous side, mingzhu is very selfless. she tends to take care of others before herself, often resulting in some negative side effects. often times, mingzhu goes without proper sleep and often skips out on eating due to her overwhelming generosity.
".....uh......" • it doesn't take much to figure out that mingzhu is a quiet person. she doesn't really speak unless spoken to, not really being the type to speak up for herself. she could be being bullied and mingzhu would probably just stare at them blankly whilst saying nothing in response. it makes it hard to get to know her or really understand her as a result.
"um... hi? ugh..." • an awkward turtle by nature, mingzhu is easily embarrassed by just about anything. she's very partial about being in the spotlight, choosing to be on the sidelines or in the background rather than in the forefront of anything. as a result mingzhu can be quite difficult when it comes to trying to talk to her, due to her evident awkwardness and silence.

bckground. huang mingzhu was born on august 17th, 1999 in wenzhou, zhejiang, china. she is the only child of huang daoming and yifei. mingzhu grew up in an upper middle class home, having all of her basic needs and more met due to her parents careers as doctors. mingzhu was quite reserved as a child, and for the most part still is. she didn't have too many friends, sticking to herself most of the time. from a young age, mingzhu participated in choir and attended music lessons by her mother's request; the lessons being two hours long, with one hour dedicated to singing and the other to either the piano or violin. by the time mingzhu was thirteen years old, just shy of her fourteenth birthday, she was scouted by an sm entertainment talent scout. the initial reason was due to her cute and pretty visuals, but after her audition with the company, the talent agents quickly realized that mingzhu was also vocally talented as well. quickly, mingzhu was offered a two or four year trainee contract under the company, to which mingzhu signed the four year contract after being convinced by her showbiz hungry mother. mingzhu trained for only three years, leaving sm entertainment due to what mingzhu felt was mistreatment. she was then shortly picked up by bighit entertainment after attending a couple more auditions with different agencies in korea.

out of the older trainees, mingzhu is able to get along best with rena. the older girl is kind of like an older sister to mingzhu, helping her whenever she truly needs it. the two truly get along really well and it's quite often that you would see mingzhu following rena around like a puppy. → mingzhu doesn't really have any issues with concepts. though, cute and y concepts can be a bit of a challenge, mingzhu does her best to pull through.

→ mingzhu would most likely cry and ask if they are doing well. it's been nearly four years since mingzhu left china, it's very likely that she'd be very emotional and wouldn't want to talk for too long, especially in front of any cameras.

→ mingzhu's strengths are singing, dancing, visuals, speaking chinese, and that she's hardworking. her weaknesses would be rapping, talking, not looking after herself enough, letting others dictate what she does, and not being a good leader.
