taeho is a genuine person, someone who is very sincere. he's not one to lie or be dishonest, finding value in the truth. he doesn't like people who lie, so you can always expect him to be honest with everything. taeho is also quite playful, being an energetic person. he is someone who is a joy to be around, especially once he's warmed up to you. he enjoys being adventurous and having loads of fun with those around him whenever possible. taeho is a calm, which is something you'd expect based off of his appearance alone. he isn't easily shaken by stress or pressure, being one who is able to do well is most situations. he's real laidback, not being too highstrung like most of the guys he knows. taeho is someone who is very humorous, always being one to give those around him a quick laugh. he enjoys the laughter of others, as it helps him solidify that he really just that funny. seeing those around him smiling and laughing makes taeho incredibly happy, in all seriousness. taeho is also quite the clever individual. he's a quick thinker, who can come across as witty. his intelligence often makes him the perfect team player. taeho is never not able to come up with new and interesting ideas for songs, enjoying the creative processes of most of his everyday life.

born on april 18th, 1997 in busan, south korea to byun siwon and yoojin. taeho grew up having a very simple and regular lifestyle. he did what was expected of him by his parents and made sure to care for his little sister, taehee; who was five years younger than him. as taeho grew up, he became more and more lost with life. he had no passion for anything at all. studies? please, taeho really only did what he needed in order to get by. he wasn't into sports nor was he into art. life felt plain all the way up until taeho was nineteen years old. while he was packing up his stuff in order to move to his dormitory at konkuk university in seoul, taeho found his father's old guitar. though taeho himself never knew his father had played the guitar in the past, the instrument intrigued him to give it try as he really had nothing to lose. during his freshman year as a science major at konkuk university, taeho found himself getting comfort through learning the guitar. whenever he was struggling, he'd simply pull the guitar and play it quietly in his dorm room. when summer vacation hit, taeho knew he didn't want to go down the science career. during his vacation, taeho auditioned for sm, jyp, and fnc entertainments but failed to get into any of them. stumped, he began busking on the streets near his university's dormitory on the weekends. luckily, taeho was spotted by an agent at blockberry creative. he was offered to become a trainee and without any hesitation, accepted and began training just eleven months ago. taeho dropped out of konkuk university and go a part-time job as a cashier at a nearby cafe in order to pay for any expenses.

• while some siblings typically don't get along, taeho and taehee get along really well. the two are very similar in terms of personality, understanding one another with any issue. taeho cares a lot about his little sister, often worrying about being so far away from the young girl. he does his best to communicate with her as much as possible. on the plus side, taehee frequently vists seoul in order to see taeho; also to look at his handsome friends. fc: good day's bomin

• while taeho hasn't gotten the chance to speak with all of the loona members, he has met a few of them; those members are haseul, yves, vivi, and kim lip. out of the members he's actually gotten to speak to and get to know, those four would be the ones taeho's the closest with. haseul is very kind and is the same age as taeho, so those two get along as well as you'd expect them too; it also helps that haseul's very kind and warm-hearted. yves is kind of mysterious, but she's always been kind to taeho nonetheless. vivi is someone who's kind of shy, but again, she is someone who's always nice to taeho. last, but not least, kim lip is the other loona member that taeho is close with. she's a really warm-hearted person who looks out for taeho even though she is younger than him. fc: heejin, hyunjin, haseul, yeojin, vivi, kim lip, jinsoul, choerry, yves, chuu, go won, and olivia hye

• while taeho hasn't gotten too many chances to get to know hawon, he still considers him to be one of his friends. they aren't incredibly close by any means, but taeho does understand hawon a lot. he knows that behind that aloof and gloomy personality, that hawon is actually a really kind-hearted fellow. he hopes that one day hawon will be able to open up to him more. fc: wanna one's bae jinyoung
11 months ago, taeho walked into blockberry creative for the first time as a trainee. he was incredibly nervous but still excited and intrigued nonetheless. he really didn't know what to expect and he was definitely right to have any real expectations. training was hard. a lot harder than the assignments and classes he took as a science major. while taeho had no issues with singing and rapping for the most, dancing definitely proved to be a challenge. it also didn't help that when he was scouted, he really didn't look like much of an idol. he had to be coached in not only dancing but also with his appearance in order to help him look more like an idol. taeho learned a lot of things during his training period and luckily enough for him, he was ultimately chosen in the end to be member of nox.

ELABORATION —
• vocal — has a distinct, clear and unique voice. he's a very strong vocalist who's able to find his pitch well and keep his voice stable whilst doing so.
• rapping — while he's no main rapper by any means, taeho is capable of rapping. he's good at following a beat and keeping a rhyme flowing.
• dancing — needless to say, taeho isn't much of a dancer. he does a better job staying still and playing a guitar tbh.
• instruments — taeho can play the guitar and is currently learning how to play the piano as well.
• variety — is typically awkward around people he doesn't know at first. after warming up to the situation and to those around him, he becomes absolutely hilarious. (think jeong sewoon or pristin's nayoung)

THE MUSIC VIDEO —
• the music video opens with oliver standing in an open wheat field, the peach coloured sky is shown vividly behind him
• oliver is staring up into the sky, where the moon and the sun are both visible together amongst the clouds
• looking down to his right hand, oliver has a pocket watch placed there; the time being 1:11
• as it pans back up to oliver, there's a white dove sitting on his left shoulder
• taking a deep breath, oliver begins walking towards a large castle in the distance, the dove flying off his shoulder and off in the other direction
• instead of being in a wheat field, oliver is now in a beautiful castle, the cieling and walls adorned with amazing architecture
• he wanders throughout the castle, looking for something or someone
• after searching for a while, oliver finds a door slightly ajar and the arms on his watch begin to spin out of control
• he walks quickly into the room and sees a beachy scenery with a grassy field in the distance, the waves calmly coming up towards the beach
• touching the painting, oliver begins to enter into that area of aether with a goldish glimmer surrounding him as he passes into the painting
• on the other side, oliver is now bare foot and he can feel the sand between his toes as well as the cold ocean water coming up towards his ankles
• the watch is still going crazy and oliver begins to look around him
• oliver visibly sees stops and squints at something in the distance
• slowly, he begins to move towards what he's just seen before stopping at a person lying on the ground
• the person, a boy, opens his eyes and looks at the sky before looking over towards oliver
• oliver reaches his left hand out to the boy, offering him help up
• vana's visibly relieved, taking oliver's hand and the video ends with the two of them looking at the sky as the sun and moon combine to make a solar eclipse; oliver's pocket watch now at 2:22
SYMBOLISM —
• the music video opened up with oliver in a wide open wheat field. this field represents a field of dreams in a way for oliver. next to the field is the ocean meaning he has a chance to go down a different path, or he can proceed towards the castle and continue on this path he's currently on.
• in the sky, the sun and moon are both visible amongst the clouds. the sun and moon represent the light and darkness in oliver's life and how he will handle those in the future, as seen in the peach coloured skies.
• oliver's pocket watch represents himself. the clock is at 1:11 because he feels like he's alone currently in life.
• the dove is a symbol of peace. it represents how oliver will have to find peace in his near future.
• the castle is beautiful inside, showing how ideal this peticular future is for oliver.
• oliver becomes barefoot and is able to feel the ocean water at his ankles. this represents oliver's time briefly going down the path he previously chose in the past, back when he was a science major, the water only reaches his ankles as he never went too far with that potential future in the first place.
• the pocket watch continues to spin out of control, representing how oliver's life will soon spin out of control once again; around this time oliver will have a sensation of feeling lost.
• oliver encounters vana and ends up taking his hand; this is representative of how his future friendship with vana and other nox members will help him to become more grounded and secure.
• at the end the pocket watch changes to 2:22 and the sun and moon combine to make a solar eclipse; this represents oliver accepting both the good and bad sides of life, the time switched to 2:22 as oliver found not only himself, but people in his life that helped him as well.
• nox subunits? like how there's loona 1/3 and odd eye circle (some name suggestions are diem which means day in latin. there's also noctem, which means night in latin)
• some lighthearted moments between the members (i know the overall story is supposed to be serious and kinda angsty, but i just want them to be happy okay T^T)
