Super Junior Lo Siento Theory
So just like I made a theory of Black Suit and One More Chance half a year ago (!!!!!), I thought of making a theory of Lo Siento, so here goes nothing:
Some might've understood the plot of the MV and some might not. Believe me when I say that the song and the video are definitely connected! I'm born and live in Norway, but my entire family is from Chile, so I understand the lyrics as a latina would.
Who is this "despactio"? I only know "Lo Siento" ....
The beatdrop
The fantastic dance break in the middle of the song illustrates them dancing in the club. The act of seducing the woman has begun because they all want her, but I believe she belongs to one of them (?) Either way!
Act of seduction, they all want her that night and show off their most passionate and seductive dance that they can think of
The duplicates
If one thinks, really easily here, it's easy to understand what they're trying to show us. It's obvious they're located at a club. What is usual to find at a club? Alcohol. They are obviously all affected by the alcohol. Just as simple as that. Alcohol messes with ones' head, so they illustrate how it would be for one
Ex-girlfriend?
In this video, I believe Leslie plays the role as the ex-girlfriend while the other girl is just a girl they're mistaking for her while being clearly affected by alcohol.
Leslie clearly states that she's not crazy for them, and even if she kissed them, she'll leave them tomorrow: Si te beso hoy, mañana me voy. Loca por ti no estoy
They might've just been dumped by her and went to the club, where there is found great temptation
See how it goes from the other girl, to Leslie. I also do believe the girl in the blue dress might've been Heechul's girlfriend (?) because of the look he gives her at the very end, but I still haven't figured out anything there just yet. And by the looks of it; Yesung might not have fallen in the trap of the other girl, and neither did Leeteuk and Shindong.
Problems between best friends/cheater?
If the one above is so not happening, like Leslie hasn't got anything to do with it all, my other conclusion is that; Donghae is the boyfriend of the girl in the blue dress, and finds her on her bed after having obviously slept with Eunhyuk the night before. The flip of the coin might've been "Should I stay or should I go".
He must feel betrayed by her deeply, because he's alone and looks sad sitting at the same room the affair happened, and the one she had an affair with was his best friend.
One night stand
Now, I don't believe the concept and the story of the song is clearly about falling in love at first night, but the video shows us how it's all about a one-night stand. It is clearly shown when Eunhyuk manages to seduce the girl enough to take her, literally, to bed
(My heart was too weak for this)
Heechul is the owner or the one who started the sensual beat inside the bar
Heechul's role in this is a mysterium. I honestly, have no idea whathe could be playing other than the owner of the bar, "owner" of the girl or just some random guitarist who's song is playing inside the club
I still can't understand why she looks at him and he looks so .. Devastated? His role in this is really not as clear as it was in the "Black Suit" era, considering he was the Decoy. I wonder if he's playing that kind of role once again? If I ever do figure it out, I'll let you know. But as for now, this sneaky fox remains a mysterium.
"Lo Siento"
This might have two meanings in the song, as I've understood it.
Since the dance moves is basically running your hands along your body, I don't think think it's right that she's saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry"
The lyrics goes "Lo Siento, Lo Siento, I'm not in a hurry. Lo Siento, Lo Siento, Let's take our time"
In my head,it doesn't make sense no matter how I try translating it in my head to any of the languages I know. For me, she's not apologizing there, she's saying "I feel it, I feel it, I'm not in a hurry. I feel it, I feel it, Let's take our time"
But when the lyrics go "Jigeum neol ango momento, si no es asi, lo siento" - "I'm holding your right at this moment, if not, lo siento"
Here it would make more sense if she said "I'm sorry"
So I believe she's "Feeling it" as in, the love, but she's not interested in a long-term relationship.
That's all I have for now. I'll edit and make it longer if I ever figure out more about the MV. I've been watching it, but I haven't been watching it, lol.
What do you guys think? Let me know what you suspect!
