Rain, rain go away

"Rain, rain go away. Come again another day." This has been repeating inside my head while we were having a procession.

Why? Because it began to rain when the procession just started.

Usually, after the Friday mass, there would be a procession involving the parishioners of our parish, where we would be walking around the parish area, bringing the statues of the saints with us.

This time, it was obvious it was gonna rain even before the procession started, since the sky was covered by dark clouds. It was very windy, cold and raining very hard when it finally started. And it took most than an hour to finish the procession, because there were flooded areas that we had to pass through. Fortunately, we were able to finish the procession without any further complications. After that, the adoration of the baby Jesus happened and we finally went home, so we can change out of our wet clothes.

Even though it rained, the procession still went on. It had to go on. This procession is one of the ways we can show our faith and sacrifice towards God. It is the Holy Week this week, so we should really learn to sacrifice some stuff.
