if there is one thing shocking about sohee, is how this ball of fluff can be extra competitive. we all know that south korea is a competitive society where evryone strives to be that 1%. however, sohee is extremely competitive — this is good, if it wasn't for the fact that sohee tries too hard at everything to be the best. she would go extra and overdo herself just to be that girl that can do everything. she doesn't take no as an answer. she pretty much would crumble and cry whenever she couldn't do something — you know those kind of moments where you're so angry that you'll cry? that's the scenario. she's so angry at herself for being incompetent compared to others. sohee is also very petty — she doesn't take no as an answer, she doesn't take rejection well, she would make other people feel the pain that she felt. that's just how petty she is. she harbours grudge and the phrase "learn to forgive and forget"? it doesn't exist in her world. it's never forgive and never forget for this girl. 

sohee is also very reserved when it comes to her feelings — she displays all sorts of emotions, except sadness. she sees crying as a weakness. therefore, she never really showcase her sadness. she feels like it would paint her as a weak, needy girl. she's also very sensitive. she's very insecure — especially when it comes to her body as she knows how harsh people can be when her body's a little bit chubbier. she cries before going to sleep when people say nasty things about her. she put on a mask of not giving a damn in front of others but inside, it really hurts. she's also somewhat childish — sure, it can be called youthful when she's using her aegyo to act cute and charming, but sometimes, sohee can take things too far. she would throw tantrums when things don't go her way, and she often take things for granted. sohee is also very self-centered. the world doesn't revolve around her? well, she'll make it revolve around her. this girl is all about grabbing attention and prioritizing herself more than others unless of course, if you mean the world to her. sohee can also be quite manipulative. she knows how to use her words to benefit her — and sohee knows just how to tug at other's hearts. she's an -kisser and she's not ashamed of it. she can also intimidate others too with her words! however, sohee is a pessimist. there's two type of people — those who sees the glass as half empty, or those who sees the glass as half full. she sees the glass as half empty and stability is everything for her. she often weighs in the pros and cons. she tends to think about the worst negative outcome rather than the best positive outcome. she tends to play it safe at times.

sohee was born in a normal family — her mother is an english teacher, her father is an engineer. she has an older sister, na sori. everything was good, everything was fine. she grew up in a loving family — a little bit spoiled by her parents as the last child but what can she say? it's not something new. however, things started getting a little bit rocky during her teenage years. she got her period at the age of thirteen and that was when she started becoming less pretty. 

she didn't know that her sister is a big deal in her neighbourhood — she's pretty, yeah, but she never knew that sori is the it girl in school. sohee? she was constantly bullied by her peers for having acnes, being overweight and looking unappealing. it also didn't help her that she's on top of her class — they called her a nerd. she had never been deeply humiliated like she was back then.

it was the start of her constant dislike towards her sister — she felt that sori had the power to stop them from making mean comments towards her but she didn't. she even avoided meeting up with sohee in school. it made sohee bitter and she swore that she would do her best to make sure that her sister would feel what she feels. sohee started dieting and taking care of her skin — it was a metamorphosis of hers. by the end of high school, na sohee is a beautiful girl with guys queueing for her time. 

it didn't stop there though — she wanted to be the better sister. she wanted to be better than her sister. therefore, she joined 1million. started off as a student, sohee definitely is one of the popular dancers, she often appears in the videos, some even notice her for her beauty — but sori will always be one step ahead of her as sori became one of the main choreographers. it honestly hurt her pride bad — until she saw the opportunity to become an idol, probably one step better than her sister.

trainee life 

some may argue that she's there because she's lucky — but isn't luck that makes a person successful? sohee had always been open to new career choices. she needs to be good at something — she wants to be famous. she wants to shine brighter than her sister. so, when the rumours started coming in that polaris is interested in debuting a girl group with 1million, she quickly auditioned to be a polaris's trainee. snarky? maybe, but she knows she has enough talent to be one. she had been with 1million since 2014. 

the hard part is singing — she loves singing but she had  never actually thought of making singing a part of her career. however, she is starting to warm up with singing though. socializing with other trainees are hard. she's the new kid yet all eyes are on her. people have been talking trash about her. falsely accuse her for bribing, servicing the higher ups, and much more — they just couldn't handle the fact that she's naturally good.

junsun is very adorable and cheeky – he seems very youthful with his smiles. he's playful and funny at the same time. he also cares a lot for his students. he's also very calm and relaxed, the type of boy to calm the situation up if it gets too tense. he can also be seen as wise sometimes. he's a good hearer. he's also very kind-hearted. he respects others a lot and he's very obedient. he's a dork that looks very cool. he's the king of smiles. he's scared of mina too lmao. (basically based on x x x)

love story

they never actually talk to each other since the day sohee stepped into 1million. it's a lie to not notice sohee — being sori's little sister and being pretty is something that draws a lot of attention, both from choreographers and students. they do know that sohee did try applying for a job as a choreographer — but the boss was reluctant to let her be one. he believed that she wasn't skilled enough. 

junsun actually developed a crush at first sight with sohee — but sohee never actually talk to choreographers. sohee felt that she was not in a position to talk to them as she isn't one. she felt inferior, a feeling she doesn't like. it wasn't until one day though, that when junsun was going home late, he heard a sob from the female's toilet. he thought it was a ghost — therefore, he quickly pack his bags to leave before switching off the lights. he was about to sprint out of the building before he heard a voice screaming "turn the lights back on!"

he recognized the voice and turned the lights on, revealing a sobbing sohee. she couldn't take it anymore and pulled him into a hug before she tells him his struggles; how she doesn't have ideas for choreographies, how cruel netizen's words can be, how some people criticized her looks and that she had been starving on a diet where she only eats an apple a day. most importantly, he heard her mutter, "maybe sori unni is truly better than this trash right here" as she referred to herself. since that day, he added that making this girl happy is something on his to-do list.

how they interact 

that was the start of their budding romance — at first, sohee tries to avoid him at all costs, embarassed at the fact that he knows everything about her. she doesn't want sympathy — but he keeps bugging her with food. a lot of food. he, then, started to offer her with dance sessions. she agreed — coming to terms that she has a long way to go before she could actually be seen as a real, decent choreographer like he is. it started with some hip-hop; but as time flies, and both of them are comfortable with each other, they started waltzing when there's just the two of them.

as time goes by, sohee started opening up more to junsun. she's junsun 'girlfriend', some might have said. she sends him good morning texts and good night texts, she even brings packed lunch for him sometimes (which he forces her to eat with him). the dork meets the other dork. sohee has even became in better terms with her sister. (her sister never had anything against her, sohee's the only one bitter). junsun is that kind of sweet, protective boyfriend that's always there when she needs a shoulder to cry on (which is once a week as she cries a lot), he goes to their concerts when he's free and he's the one who gives her a lot of inspirations for dance choreographies.

however, they're just 'friends'. sohee thought that he's just being kind. plus, she hates rejections. she's not going to risk it. junsun, is scared of being rejected. he felt that sohee must have been in love with some male idol. it's only a matter of time until one would confess to the other one.
