jinwoo is very hardworking – sure, he might seem lazy as he complains a lot but you can see how hardworking he is with his studies. he often goes out during the night time for inspirations (and sometimes, part time jobs) but he really works hard for the thing he genuinely likes. jinwoo is the type to brush you off – he simply snickers at you when you complain about how hard life is for you but deep inside, he truly cares for people he loves. he doesn't mind going out of his way to help – even if it means sacrificing himself in the process. he's very generous too and would try to help your problems. he'll take care of you and tries his best to protect the people he loves. after a hurricane, comes a rainbow. jinwoo believes in being optimistic. he felt that it would help him in the long run – therefore, he might make bold choices. one that you would question; but his optimism convinced him that whatever choice he made, he was destined to it. his optimism was the core reason on how he survived his teenage life without giving up on life. he exudes 'positive' vibes and pretty much, it's his charm. he's very bubbly and exuberant — he's talkative, sociable and friendly. the type of college heartthrob that steals the hearts of girls with his fellas. he's a chatterbox and loves talking about everything. adult stuffs? kids' cartoon? he knows everything. 

by now, you might think that jinwoo's a kid at heart – that may be true, but he's also matured enough to take responsibility. he's very responsible and knows when to say sorry and admit his wrongdoings. he's also felt responsible in taking care of his loved ones – mostly his family and his friends. you might think find jinwoo to be self-centered at times – he's a narcissist, yes – but he's also very observant. he knows what makes you giggle and what disgusts you. he knows exactly when you're mad or when you're sad. it's just whether he actually tries to make you feel better or not – he might be nice but if he dislikes you, he would use his observations to make your life worse. if there's something to know about jinwoo, is the fact that he's very laid-back and relaxed. a chill guy, you can say. he's the type to hates being pressured and wouldn't put any pressure on people. that's why he dislikes impatient people and people who strives for too much excellence – they are the type of people that he felt too pressuring for him. he knows what he wants to do and doesn't need anyone to tell him to do anything. he likes to just go with the flow. 

jinwoo tries to be funny – but fails nonetheless. he often tries to use his vine references and internet meme references when in real life, no one really understands his humor. he tries though. a+ for effort; but well, some does and if you're one of those people, kudos to you. he's also very playful – everything is a game for him. he likes to joke around, prank people when he has the time and tends to be annoying most of the times when he plays with you when you're not in the mood – but sometimes, it does help that he would always be there for you to joke around even when you're feeling alone. he's also very flirty – he tends to use his pick-up lines and he's romantic. those things you see in k-drama – he does them to steal your heart. just to break it when he feels bored.

he's also a ert. he's not scared to embrace his ual urge – in a playful way, of course. he can also be seen eyeing them private assets a lot too. just a heads up. jinwoo is very adventurous. he feels that everyday is a new episode, waiting to be unravelled. he likes trying new things and making that leap of faith in believing his guts. jinwoo, however, can get bored easily. it's hard to keep him focused because he's always searching for new things to do – but nonetheless, it's not completely bad either as it keeps things different with him.

jinwoo can be quite insensitive however. he simply doesn't care if he accidentally hurts someone's heart. in fact, sometimes, he feels superior, knowing that he inflicted someone's emotional pain. a psychopath? not really – rather, it was a feeling of satisfaction, knowing that he meant so much to someone. due to his broken family, he felt that he was alone, doing his best to strive in the cold, mean world. plus, he needs to take care of his little sister, jinhee too as his mother seems to work too much. him being insensitive was pretty much a defense mechanism he built in, trying to not be sensitive and break down. 

jinwoo is also very stubborn – he lstens to advices but don't take them, not criticism. he feels that criticisms are a way of belittling him. he prefers learning his mistakes by himself. he's also very carefree — jinwoo has never actually see himself as anything in the future. in fact, he never thought he would be studying in university right now! all he knew was he need to take care of his little sister. him being carefree is a total concern because he makes risks a daily routine as he didn't know what to do in the future. jinwoo is also very reserved. he never shows his truest emotions to anyone. he tries his best not to cry – he will feel vulnerable and weak. his mother once scold him for crying – to be strong. it made him who he is now. instead, he tends to get frustrated and angry when he feels sad. he tries his best to keep smiling though.

jinwoo can be very manipulative at times. he knows that speaking is one of his charms – and he uses it for his own good. he used his words to be the professor's pet, to get girls, to get jobs – hate to break the news but he even took a few girls' first times. jinwoo is dishonest – a compulsive liar. "liar, liar, pants on fire." he has been caught a few times but he did it nonetheless – he lies about his feelings, he lies about his wellbeing, he lies about everything. to boast, to make others think that he's living the good life. he even lies to himself. jinwoo is also impulsive. he's quick to do things and doesn't think twice. does he even think? this makes him rebellious. he may seem like a sweetheart to you – but don't be fooled. he cheated at tests and break the house law, even! it surely is a hell of a ride with him.

jinwoo was born in a somewhat broken family – they used to have it all. his father was a respected professor while his mother used to be a caring stay-at-home woman. they were the ideal family – wealthy and happy. he was doing fine as a child with good grades and impressive skills. it's a huge plus that he looks charming as well. however, when he was fifteen – his father was taken to jail for accepting bribery from the students for high grades. it was a bad time for the family – his mother was forced to climb the career ladder and work as a cashier in a supermarket. 

jinwoo and his younger sister had to drop out of their private school as they had no money to pay off the fees – that was the start of jinwoo being a compulsive liar. as he transferred to a public school, jinwoo's peers questioned the reason underneath him moving out. he lied to his peers that the strict timetable is making him stressed out – says jinwoo, the boy who doesn't mind studying a lot as he ranks himself at the top 3, consistently. 

being in a new, public school is hard. back in his old school, there's not much of delinquent rats – bullying is not a thing. the parents back in his old school would literally sue the school if they see a single bruise on their children. that is why he was rather in a state of shock at the new surrounding he was in. being bullied is a norm – tell the teachers and you're dead. that was how he started being a smooth-talker. he knew that in order to stay safe, you either need to be apart of a gang of bullies or be insanely popular that your fans would try to protect you at all costs. 

the former seems too harsh on softie jinwoo – therefore, he decided to use his good looks for something good. he started off by being friendly with the girls and then, posting nice pictures on instagram. and boom! his popularity skyrocketed from the new kid to #1 flower boy. he's a people-pleaser and knows when to lie. politics is what he calls it.

his grades... however. it wasn't as good as it used to be – you can't really blame it on the boy though. his natural instincts made him want to help his family. the time he should have use for studying is replaced with working several part-time jobs. his mother's salary was enough to keep them filled but it was jinwoo's money that allows his little sister, jinhee to go to extra classes, buy her makeup and let her live a normal teenage life. 

nonetheless, jinwoo still maintain his grades as the school's top 20 and leads his school's soccer team. therefore, he wasn't that bad of a student as some might think he is. he was interested in architecture – but he knew that his mother alone couldn't pay for his studying fees. therefore, after he graduated high school, he went to military – he's planning on simply letting go of his future for the sake of his family. at least, he wanted them to be financially stable before he enrols himself to college because jinwoo knew – his mother would never agree on him, sacrificing himself for his sister. 

when he came back from military, honestly, he thought that he wouldn't make it far – he had always been interested in photography and videography. he never had thought that he could profit out of his little hobby. his sister, jinhee was the one who participated himself to a competition. it was an art competition where he placed second – he lost to a person who sculpted this amazing sculpture – but nonetheless, his picture of his little sister dressed in hanbok as she runs away dramatically sparked the interests of the judges and he was accepted into the school as a scholarship student.

he found the share house by luck – it was his third year in university and his father is out of jail. their relationship were still broken – he was trying to be nice to someone who ruined his life as a teenager but it seems that his mother and jinhee was not forgiving as they are still spiteful as ever. however, with his father back in the scene, he's now able to lessen his burden by doing house chores. his father refused to work. therefore, he stays at home. he did tried helping financially by tutoring online. 

he used to live with a few boys who rent the house for a very low price – in exchange, he needs to do all of the house chores. basically, he's their maid. feeling tired of being their 'maid' and finally wanting to get his name on the dean list, he tried looking for a place that offers an affordable price but a very comfortable environment. that's when he found the ads of the share house.

they used to be close. jinhyuk tends to mold jinwoo to be a gentleman who can protect his sister and mother. someone respectable — therefore, he felt like a disappointment when he was taken to jail for taking bribe money. they never really talk to each other – however, jinhyuk does bank in some pocket money for jinwoo every month.

yeojin and jinwoo used to be very close – as a matter of fact, yeojin quit being a lawyer because she wanted to take care of her children. however, after her husband was caught in bribery, she needed to find herself a job to strive in this cruel world. yeojin is a workaholic and works a lot to forget the problems at their home. they still talk to each other but rarely — yeojin often bank in some pocket money to him too.

jinhee and jinwoo are super close. jinwoo is your picture perfect older brother who protects jinhee from boys, pestering around her (which jinhee is still salty about because he's the reason why she didn't have a boyfriend in high school and now, everyone's taken in college). jinwoo always messes around with jinhee which annoys her a lot – however, she's grateful to have jinwoo around. in fact, he's the only person jinhee genuinely cares about as he did everything for her. jinwoo plays the role of her father, her mother, her teacher and her brother. jinhee often visits the share house too! usually, she brings food from home!

it was rather complicated with this one – he started off liking jangmi when he moved into the house. well, not really. he finds her interesting (her red hair, especially) and decided to give it a shot in trying to get into her pants – but she rejected him. over and over. that was when he met yanan who's rather naive – and asked him for help to melt jangmi's icy heart. how? yanan is rather easy to trick – he blabbered something about true love and he's convinced. 

fast forward, as he hangs out with him more – he felt something that he never have felt. he accidentally blurted his feelings for yanan to jangmi when he was drunk. jangmi shrieked at how sweet he was being and kept telling him that he likes him. she even volunteered to help him get yanan. that was the beginning of their friendship. afterwards, she's basically a little sister to jinwoo.

he pranked her, he mess around with her, he keeps her ugly pics to threaten her into helping him... pretty much a mean older brother. jangmi's pretty much that annoying little sister to him – she often play video games with him. jinhee, however, is very jealous and often shoots jangmi that dirty look when he does things that he only does to heejin like ruffling her hair and pinching her cheeks. jangmi, however, never really directly told yanan about jinwoo's feelings though because she felt that jinwoo's the one who should tell him directly.

there's definitely tension between the two —jangmi told changgu about jinwoo and he definitely didn't like jinwoo's presence. even when he and jangmi became friends, changgu still dislike him. changgu usually would throw a sarcastic remark at jinwoo and jinwoo would get mad; there's a few times where they almost got into a fist fight!

jinwoo and cheng xiao met for the first time when jinwoo was visiting yanan at his workplace and there it was – cheng xiao. since he frequently comes there, he frequently meets cheng xiao. at first, cheng xiao appears to be a rather sweet, playful girl. she reminds him of his little sister, jinhee. however, cheng xiao sees it differently – she thought that he was flirting with her. she often invite him to go out, gives yanan more work and even, pretend to be in trouble, just to get jinwoo's attention. she would never take no as an answer.

school life. 

jinwoo never really had a problem with his school – people look up to him as a scholarship recipient and with his charms, he does get the ladies often. he's the teachers' favourite, the type of kid that the professor told you to look up to. he's also quite famous – especially now that he's on his third year where more people knows him. the seniors try to get in his pants and the juniors often look at him shyly. 

he gets a lot of chocolates from secret admirers too! honestly, jinwoo was born gifted with a high level of iq. therefore, he didn't need to study that hard to achieve excellent grades. 

jinwoo's schedule is mostly packed during the mornings. he tried to only have classes from 9 am to 3 pm. at 4 pm, he leaves for his part-time job. he only has classes during weekdays though — he keeps his weekend free to do revisions and for his family; just a little something to unwind.

house life. 

jinwoo is a busy guy – kind of. he's either sleeping or he went out. jinwoo's a heavy sleeper – hence why he avoided having morning classes as best as he could. jinwoo would go to classes and arrive home at 4 pm. usually, he'll spend his time in his bedroom – probably playing dota and would come out of his bedroom for dinners. he's a rather simple guy – he's a huge minimalist when it comes to his furniture arrangements. therefore, you can probably see his bedroom as clean and suave, just like him. however, his minimalist style is just a reflection of the fact that he's too lazy to clean his bedroom. he's okay with a little bit of messiness – but if there's one thing he can't stand, it's unwashed dishes. 

his least favourite chore would be cleaning the toilet and his favourite is vacuuming and doing his laundry. for some sort of reason, he likes the smell of fresh laundry. he likes his bedroom the most – and the kitchen. he likes cooking. he usually would volunteer to clean the living room.

ohh, you're studying at Seoul univeristy. what's your major? he grinned at the middle-aged lady asking him the question. he scratched his head, hesitating if he should tell her the truth or not. after all, artists have a reputation on being messy. however, since he doesn't really fit the steorotype of an artist (since he's a fine-art photographer), he answered, "photography." not a lie but not the truth either.

you will be living with five other people, do you get along well with others? he nodded slightly before he spoke, "of course, i do. i'm a very tolerable person. i'm clean and i don't cause a lot of ruckus! and as you can see, i'm very friendly and cooperative." he said, smiling widely as he praised himself, just like the narcissist he is.

we have a few rules, as long as you follow them we won't have any problems. do you follow rules well? "me? rules?" he smiled as he let out a slightly awkward laugh. he had never been good with rules – he does follow the ones like 'don't play with fire' but some rules like 'no girls inside your room' is something else. for god's sake, he's an adult with raging hormones and good looks, but nonetheless, he replied, "yes. i'm very good at rules. you can count me on that!"

would you mind sharing a room? "well... if they're hygienic enough and respect my privacy, wouldn't steal my things and doesn't do stupid stuffs like smoke inside the room, i guess i'm okay with it. it's always good to have a friend with anyways," he let out a hearty yet fake laugh. he hates sharing his room – he never shared a room anyways since jinhee needs her privacy as much as he does. he's not comfortable in having other people watching him as he change his clothes and he loves his me time, ing to one of his treasured collections.

I'm just joking.  he awkwardly laughs at the lady's joke. "haha, very funny. i like your humour." thank god, it was over. he felt like he has been interrogated by the cops.
