Personality. 

Jacey is not the type of girl who fights with other people because she doesn't see the point of yelling at each other while you can just sit and talk calmly about the problem. She is a great listener, when her friends needs to talk to someone they usually come to her because she doesn't judge them and she tries to give them advices when she can. She cares a lot for the people she loves, always making sure that they are happy and doesn't need anything. She can also be very cute but quite childish at times. She acts childishly especially when someone wakes her up in the morning, she would just roll on her bed saying 'No I don't want to wake up let me sleeeeep' with a baby voice. She acts this way when she is with her family or close friends. Jacey can be a real workaholic sometimes, she wouldn't stop practicing until everything is perfect sometime hurting herself in the process. She often stays after practice hours just to work again and again until she is satisfied with the result.

Jacey can seem a little bit cold the first time you see her, because she doesn't talk much with people she doesn't know, but it's just out of shyness more than coldness. When she is stressed she can become really cold towards everybody and tends to isolate herself from everyone. She can also be very harsh and mean towards the people who are mean to her. She doesn't get angry often but when she is you better stay away from her and let her isolate herself to calm down or she will just yell at you even if you're not the one she is angry at. Jacey is really insecure about everything she does. She is easily affected by criticism. When she sees on the internet comments about her not being good enough at singing or dancing, she will practices evenmore for everything to be perfect; when people says she is too fat, she will lose weight even if she is already super thin. She also cry very easily. When she sees a movie whether it's a sad movie or not she will cry at some point. When she is stressed, angry, tired it's not rare to see her broke in tears.

Background. 

Jacey was the youngest with two older sisters and born in Seoul, South Korea. Her father and mother are both Korean. Since both of her parents are musician and singer, she wanted to followed their footsteps and became a singer. She become singer not to be famous but to make everyone smile at her singing. She learnt singing when she is six and at the age of eight, she started benign to lean playing guitar and piano, taught by none other than by his father who was once a pianist. Her father would often brought her to different concerts, watching singers performing on stage, hoping she could learn and gain experience. When she turned fifteen, her parents brought her a custom made guitar for her birthday and being top 5 in school.

Jacey was once a trainee from JYP entertainment when she was nineteen. She became trainee when she sang a duet song with her friend at one of the school concert. She got scouted outside her school when a staff from SM entertainment approach her to ask her to join the casting. This was once a life chance for her as becoming a singer was her dream. She accepted and went for audition. She got in and officially become part of SM trainee. at first, it was a rocky start for her, almost training almost everyday non stop which was kind of hard for her but she never gives up. She friends with many people there. Every teachers who taught her was impressed with her progress and one day they believed Jacey can success. However, an accident had almost makes her lost her dream when she was sixteen. She met a car accident and was force to leave JYP entertainment due to her leg injury.

After her recovery one year later, she could finally able to sing and dance again. Instead of returning to JYP, she tried going to audition for other company which just so happen to be Starship Entertainment. Even though for the past one year of not able to train, she still able to pull off easily and joined Stardom entertainment, becoming the trainee there for two years. Her parents were supporting her to become an idol and belived she could suuccess.  She still keep in touch with her friends from SM entertainment after that accident.

– older sister / Lee Seeun / 28 / footballer / The second person that she loves in the world is her other sister Seeun who is a footballer for the South Korean womne's team. She is very close with her sister as they have so many things in common. They often skype and hangf out as soon as a free second arises.

– older sister / Lee Seyoung / 25 / actress / Lee Seyoung is basically Jacey' best friend. They text each other 24/7 and are never not talking. Seyoung and Jacey hang out and have sleep overs whenever possible and Jacey buys her sister food for her fridge because Seyoung sometimes runs out of food.

— Close Friend • Kim "Dasom" / 24 / Idol ; SISTAR / Although Dasom is a year older than Jacey, they both went to the same elementary and middle school before moving to Seoul. They both grew up in the same neighborhood in Gyeonggi-do and now that they're both in Seoul, they hang out and have occasional sleep overs.

— Close Friend • Lee "Wonho" Hoseok / 24 / Idol ; Monsta X / The two met when Wonshik was a trainee and Jacey was the company producer. They were never really that close, but ever since she was featured in the MV for "Rush", they have gotten closer as friends. Also, since they're the same age, they were in the same class in high school so they're nostalgic together.

Trainee Life. 

She was 19 when she joined JYP She cried a lot when she said bye to her mother and father, and had to move into the dorm which was really small and with a lot of girls, she was room mate with three other girl, which she didn't dare to talk to at first, well in fact for whole week she wouldn't talk to anyone, she would train in her corner and only nod or shake her head if asked a question which the older trainee took as a form of rudeness, at that time she didn't know. Until a day a girl a year younger than her came and started a conversation with her, at first Jacey would stay quiet and stare at the girl , but the girl didn't back down she smiled and kept talking with her and little by little Jacey opennent, turn out Jacey was quiet the talkative which got her first friend Lee Chaeryung to always that maybe she shouldn't have talked to her and that she would be better with shut, as the two girls had joined the company around the same time they didn't call each other sunbae and such.

Later on Jacey made more friends who helped her a lot when things got hard , they were no sleep night and no food days, but she kept on being strong. She became that person who would always go talk first to the new girls. She would get so happy when the new girls are japanese not like her and they would start talking in japanese to tease the other girls. She even got to make friend with the boy trainee who turned out to become her sunbae later but she didn't change the way she treated them. But the years went by, Jacey did become better, but she never got the chance to shine so with a smile she left in Late 2013, to look for another entertainment that may help her shine better, back at that time she was quite a fan of Monsta X, so she went for Starshup and got in it at the first audition where she showed her rapping and dancing skills and not too bad voice. It didn't took her much to get used to the Starship den, and to make new friends. The funniest thing was the first day she met one of Monsta X she tried her best to not fangirl and let out a "Fan ... Me.. You"
