Ayla is different from most preppy, rich kid. She isn't arrogant nor is she obedient. Ayla is someone who goes her own path. She never takes anyone's bull and is always on her own in everything she does. She feels that having someone clinging onto you is a burden in life and tends to ignore and turn down those who wants to help her whenever she needs it. Ayla doesn't want to be viewed as weak girl but as a strong, independent girl. She is brave and isn't afraid to do anything. Just like a boy, she doesn't mind playing in the mud or getting herself injured. Hell, she'd rather hang out with the boys than the girls. Ayla isn't afraid to stand up to what's wrong and what's right.
She too is someone who can think of things quickly. Ayla is intelligent and can think fast. She has fast reflexes and can think of an answer to her problem in a blink of an eye. She feels as though being smart isn't only for nerds but for everyone. Ayla is also very passionate in everything she does. Relaxed and Short temper does not go together right? but that's how Ayla is. No one, even her twin sister understands how she can have multiple mood swings. Yes. Mood swings. Ayla can be relaxed at one point but short tempered at the other. It's awfully weird that some might think Ayla is crazy. Although, whenever she's in her normal state, she can be sarcastic and sassy. Remember when I said Ayla's full of surprises, well here's one of the surprise. Ayla is full of sentences that can roast you within a minute. Her sarcasm is what makes her, her. You can know when she's angry, and that is when she doesn't utter a single burn towards you.
With her slight temper and her sarcastic nature, comes her rough and stubborn nature. Ayla breaks whatever she holds on to. She can literally be called the goddess of destruction but that name is taken by the troublemaker of the school. She once broke her friend's glasses just by holding it and she once broke the water cooler when she was drinking it. She tends to handle things with slight aggression which sometimes results to her rough nature. You can never win a fight with Ayla even if you're in the correct side. She would never listen to your words and would always roll her eyes on you even if you try to reason with her.

Born with privileges no one has ever imagined before, Ayla was considered lucky that she was born in a wealthy family. Her family owns business all over the world and her mother was once a former model, which led to Ayla outstanding beauty. Although, Ayla isn't exactly the only child, she was the most dolled up since she was the family's first ever daughter. When she was young, she was given multiple gold bracelets, necklaces as well as earring to wear. Branded clothes to style and tonnes of makeup and hairspray to apply. She basically became a human doll for her parents even after her family moved to Greece due to her father's job.
Sadly, right when her family moved to Liverpool, Ayla started to change. She no longer loved the amount of girly things in her room. She no longer loved the makeup given to her and no longer wore the branded clothes her parents gifted her with. Instead, Ayla was found wearing jeans and sneakers. She would avoid whenever her maids wanted to apply makeup for her and would always be found playing video games or skateboarding at the backyard of her house (or should I say Mansion). Her sudden change of interest was sparked due to her mother. She was so eager to have Ayla grow up to be a model, that it pressured the young girl. She wanted to be who she wanted to be, and that means she doesn't want to be a cover girl of a magazine, nor does she want to dress up like a 70s girl who wore big hairdo and weird looking dresses. No, Ayla wants to look, dress and act the way she truly is. She tried so hard to change her mother's mind by dressing up differently, but it only caused her mother to fume in anger and therefore, Due to her change in interest, her relationship with her mother went down the drain.
Years passed and Ayla was never given the same treatment. Her mother ignored her presence and would only care about her girly twin sister. Although, it never affected Ayla, she still felt a hint of envy whenever her mother praises her twin sister and whenever her mother would compare Ayla to her. When Ayla turned 15, her family moved again, but this time to her father's hometown, Korea. Upon reaching Korea, Ayla grew close to her uncle, grandfather as well as her elder cousin who understood the young girl's feelings. They were more like her family than her actual family, who always picks at her for being a disgrace to her family. She treats her grandfather's house as her own house and most of her things (clothes, school stuff etc.) are there instead of her real home.
Ayla is now studying business in one of the most prestigious schools in Korea, in hopes that she could one day open up her own business. Her relationship with her parents are still pretty much damaged since they still can't accept the fact that Ayla isn't who they wanted her to be while her relationship with her twin sister, however, is slowly sinking down the drain as they can't seem to agree on something anymore. Their relationship is pretty much self explanatory. Catherine hates Ayla and Ayla hates catherine. It's as simple as 123. The reason why Catherine hates ayla, is due to the fact that she disobeyed her. Ever since then, she doesn't consider Ayla as one of her children. Catherine also hates the fact that Ayla is marrying Donghae because she wanted Ella to marry him.

Whenevr Ayla creates trouble in school, he would be the one fetching her because her father is "Oh suddenly busy" JIhoon does love Ayla like she is his own daughter and actually likes that she's marrying Donghae for odd reasons (Can be any reason honestly). Jihoon also owns his own business that he started himself and is currently training his adopted son, who would be taking over the company in the future.

Before anything, You might be wondering why he is 23. Did Jihoon get a girl pregnant at the age of 12? Well no, Seokwoo is actually the adopted son of Jihoon. Since Jihoon isn't getting any younger, he decided to adopt Seokwoo when the boy was only 17. It was sad enough that no one wanted to adopt the 17 year old when he was at the orphanage. He wanted to leave, but he was only allowed once he turned 18, and once he turned 18, he would have all the freedom he wanted. However, before he could have a taste of freedom, Jihoon came by and adopted the 17 year old kid, thinking that it was easy to educate him on business as he seems matured enough to handle them. He gave him an education and treated him as though he was part of the family since the beginning. Seokwoo is also Ayla's favourite cousin out of all her cousins. Why? Because he understands her. By understand, I mean literally understands. Seokwoo knows how it feels like to not be able to choose a path as his was already chosen for him. However, he is optimistic about it and often give advices and encouragement to Ayla when she's down. (They go to the same school and are often seen together)

personality : Donghae is someone who knows what to do. He knows how to act when around women and knows what to say to the elders. He has this certain image where everyone would just fall in love with him and his personality. He is kind and helpful in many ways and he isn't snobby like other rich kids. He knows his limits and doesn't show any sign of being spoiled. He works hard to achieve something, However, Donghae can get annoyed very easily. he can't stand being nagged at and would always just walk out of an argument, because he's done with it. He can also be such a player at some point of time. He takes advantage of his good looks and his personality to score girls.
love story: The two have seen each other once before the auction, since Donghae's family is a close friend of Ayla's family. They have seen each when Ayla's family invited the Lees for dinner a few weeks before the 2017 Annual ball and Auction. Honestly, Catherine did not want Ayla present for the dinner since the purpose of the dinner was to set Ella and Donghae up, but before she could tell Ayla to go out, the Lee family arrived.
That was when Donghae first saw Ayla, and how she was dressed rather differently than her twin. Throughout the dinner, Donghae could see how Ayla dislikes being around her family, who he could obviously see that they're trying to set him and their daughter, ella up. however, Donghae's only attention was at Ayla.
When the ball and Auction came, Donghae saw that The jungs weren't with Ayla. The setting up began, and this time, DOnghae's mother agreed to set up a date between the two. Their conversation was interrupted by A surprised Ella, who stood in front of Ayla.
"I thought I said to stay home. Why are you here?"
"I'm here only because my best friend invited me and I listen to him, not you"
"Don't mess things up for me and Dongahe oppa. He's mine"

Before they could continue their bicker, Ayla could see the shock in Ella's face when she saw Donghae approaching Ayla and dragging her away. i mean, she herself was taken aback by the man's sudden action. When they were in a corner, Donghae told her everything.
"Look, I know you don't like your family-"
"That's my business not yours."
"Can you wait till I finish my sentence. Jeez woman. Anyways, I don't want to be stuck with you sister-"
"Who doesn't"
"You really have to stop interrupting me. Look, don't freak out but how about we get married?"
"Dafuq!? We just met like a few weeks ago, hell we didn't even talk. What makes you think I'll marry you?"
"Look. we're both doing favours for each other. My mom wants me to get married and settle down, the only thing is that every girl I've been with wants my money. You're the only girl I've met who hates wealth. For you, You would escape the grasp of your family since you have a husband and you wouldn't have to listen to them anymore."
"So that means, I can finally make my own decisions..."

With Donghae saying "We've been dating for a few months, we just kept it a secret and now we're announcing that we're getting married" to their family. let me just say, Both mothers nearly fainted. One from excitement while other from shock.
how we got together: Their marriage started out as a way to escape from their parents. One from the hatred and the other from constant nags. However, the two did not plan on falling for one another and having a baby on the way. Ayla got pregnant because Donghae was careless when the two had drunk . The baby was what brought them close and they have long forgotten about their deal.
"Hey oppa... I know it's sudden for me to call when you're at work but are you free? I have some news to share with you... I'll see you at your office if you'd like."

interactions: Ever since the day they announced their "engagement", things have been hectic for both Ayla and Donghae. Donghae's mother would always tell her son to fetch Ayla from school because that's what fiances do while Ayla would always get words of hatred thrown at her from both her sister and mother. However, the two became closer than ever since Ayla shares the reason why she dislike her family, while Donghae tells him his. When the big day came, it also became the day Ayla finally got rid of the name "Jung" which was then replaced with "lee"
Ever since the day they said "I do" things were fine. the two agreed to be friends and acts as though they're just normal roommates. Only acting like a loving couple when they're family visits. Ayla could finally do things her way since Donghae would be missing most of the day. However, slowly as time passed, you could see they go from casual roommates to lovers in terms of behaviour.
