Story Updates--Question for Readers

Hello dear loveliesss~

I hope everyone is well and that 2018 is a good start.

Like I do with each year, I'm attempting to set a goal for stories. 2017 was a hellish year for me, quite honestly. I did not get the stories that I wanted to finish done, and by the time december rolled around, I was so far into my insanity with school that I hadn't even written for two months.  So, now that it's a new year, I'm trying this again. ^^ I'm going to be attempting to finish the ones I have up. I have completely finished my second Masters Degree, and I'm anxious for my sanity to come back in spades so I can finally finish stories that have been sitting up for ages.

My question to you all is surrounding my numerous amount of oneshots.

I am rather curious as to if people find it difficult to sift through my stories list to find a certain oneshot in the insane amount of stories I have up. Since some of them are actually rather short, I had been debating on putting them into one big story, with a table of contents for people to read and go to. This would only apply to the very short, drabble like oneshots. Any long oneshots will remain where they are.

I'd love to hear if people would find that easier, or if it didn't matter whatsoever. With the new year, I'm trying to be better about constantly posting new things only to delete them, and just trying to be mindful overall about making things easier and simpler. I also find cleaning to be a major stress relief for myself (always have as well), and since the new year has started, I've found myself anxious and needing to make goals for organization now that school is off my plate. Maybe this only matters to me, but I did not wish people to be upset if they saw a story disappear with no explanation.

If people did agree that it would be easier to read all of those drabble like oneshots in a big story, I would delete the oneshots in order to do this. I think my mind would be a bit more at ease seeing that number of stories come down as well.

One of my other goals this year is to be seriously editing a lot of my older stories, and fixing some details that will improve the plots. You may see new changes, some improved ideas, and even a character change or two. I am rather unhappy that in some of my earlier stories, Minho had been shown in a bad light. I'm going to be changing that, as I can't really even stand to re-read those stories that make his character horrible.

Lastly, one of my greatest goals will be to get back on a writing routine. An issue I have with myself is that I apparently have horrible focus and cannot finish something to save my life. I'm going to attempt to stop jumping around and develop a schedule so one story has it's proper focus and readers stop having to wait on me to get my act together. I'll most likely be finishing with the stories that are nearly finished (Have you ever seen anything so beautiful, taekitty, sunday night affairs, someone to live for, the devil hills etc.) before going back to some that I know readers are paitently (words of my lover, goodbye my love, etc.) waiting for me to continue.

I greatly value everyone's opinion regarding the oneshots, whatever it may be. So drop me a comment and let me know! If it's a positive opinion of combining fics, I will most likely do that this weekend.

As always, I love and adore everyone for every comment, sub, upvote, message, and amount of love you have shown me over the years. I hope this year is full of hope and love for everyone, and I'll update soon!

I like the ons shots in one place together idea. If that helps you feel decluttered too then that’s a good thing. Looking forward to what you have in store for this year. Hope you are doing ok.

I think it's a good idea to put the drabbles together. People can just go to that to read all the lighthearted fluffy stuff xD also, I'm glad to hear you're getting your strength back. We have so few ontae authors left so I really appreciate your work that much more. I don't usually have time to comment so I thought I should at least tell you once that I really love your stories and always look forward to them. <3

If it helps you declutter your mind, I think you should do it. The only problem I could think of would be the readers who didn't/couldn't read this blog because they wouldn't know where the oneshots are, unless they go searching for it
