On December 26, the SM Entertainment boy group released 'Universe'. The new album is packed with a total of 8 tracks - "Universe", "Universe" (Chinese ver.), "Been Through", "Stay", "Fall", "Good Night", "Lights Out", and "Universe" (CD ver.).

 

While listening to the new tracks, fans have noticed something unique about the lyrics. Fans pointed out, "EXO used the words 'me and you' not 'he/she'." Not only the title track but the entire album is gender neutral.

 

Regarding this, a netizen commented, "I think it (gender neutrality) makes it more relatable to any gender when listening/singing along."
