These are some of the best fanfiction that I read this year. I never done a list like this before and decided to do this for fun to share with whoever reads this and also to have a personal list for myself to look back on. Some of these author's have more than one fic that I loved but to keep this list from being 50 billion years long I only put my number 1 favorite from them. This list is in no particular order either just listing as I go..HERE WE GO!

I jumped into this fic without knowing what the plot was or the ship and I honestly loved it. It even had a ship that I never even knew was a thing...but I was feeling it. I don't wanna give away who Yoongi ends up with either if you read this. This was the first fic I ever read where the actually advanced the plot and wasn't just there for fun XD It might be too graphic from some readers but it's so well done from start to finish I honestly binge read this whole story on a Thursday I just couldn't stop each chapter I was scared and questioning what was going on while Yoongi tried to escape from his captor then it hits you with romance and action. <3 <3 <3 I wanna reread it again when I have 8 hours to spare lol

 

Captain of Your Heart by Twins

I have been looking so hard for a good ChinaLine fic and I found it on A03. This is my first pirate fanfic and I just love the characters and how the author wrote Juna nd Minghao. It's a fun read and I really really really hope the author updates again soon because they stopped on such a big cliffhanger *cries*

I have not finished this fic yet because I am catching up with other stories but it's completed and it has a ship that I usually don't read. Jhope x Jungkook. It's about Jhope getting dumped by Jin the man eater and goes to the bar to get a drink but a young bartender (Kookie) won't let him have a drink. What I love the most about this fanfic is the dialouge esspecially the way Kookie talks. It makes me laugh every chapter.

I usually look for romance and occasionally crack fand horror fics when I am on AFF but this one really caught my eye. Yes it has romance but I was more into the magical, fantasy and mystery of the storyline. I liked that even though the author was nervous about doing this type of story that she still pushed through her nerves. I would love to read more stories like this next year. It made me feel good and reminded me of lots of the books I use to read at the library...minus the hot threesomes XD

This story is really dark and messed up ina  good and bad way. All the BTS boys are serial killers and each chapter you find out why their reason for killing and Taehyung comes into the plot as the new guy and a twisted romance happens between him and Jungkook and Yoongi. It's a guilty pleasure omg..I couldn't stop reading once I started.

I do not ship VKook or NamJin at all BUT THIS IS LIKE ONE OF MY TOP 3 FAVORITE FICS THIS YEAR! I am so glad I ignored what the ships were and read this anyways because it was  like how to I explain it? Perfect like everything from the drama, angst, romance, comedy ahhhh I just loved it all and as an added bonus it had some Jihope and Yoonmin in it. THE MORE THE SHIPS THE BETTER I SAY <3

I usually don't read many gangsta stories but I love this one ahhhhh I started out the year reading this fic to death.  This is one of the few  hetero fics I read this year XD I really love how the author did a lot of reasearch because it made everything feel realistic and the way she wrote Xiumin was amazing. The dialouge between him and the OC chick was always funny, sad or super cute. Ahhh

I don't remember if I read this story this year or last but it dont matter this is the best DARAGON fic I ever read. I legit read every chapter show as possible to savor every good moment. Also this fic got published into a book *claps* I haven't checked it out yet but I am so happy for the author and I hope it sells well cuz its a really great fic.

I don't remember how I stumbled on this fic but I am in love with the way this author writes. I wish to someday be on this level. This story is so beautiful and emotional..I cried and I never ever cry and it has left an impact on my freaking heart. When you read it you have to pay attention to the words because just about every word matters and when you get to the end you will be so mind blown. YOU NEED TO READ THIS XD It's a bit...dark...but come on!

When I first saw this I laughed because I couldn't imagine Jimin being a Serial Killer but as I was reading the story it waws really believable. I binged read like crazy I couldn't get enough of these two killers on the run from a scary mob boss. I think I read this story like 4 or 5 times..it feels new everytime I look at it cuz I notice something I didn't see at first. It's fun, crazy and a hot and ahh yeah love it.

 

LEGOs by Minghaon

This story legit is simple..it takes like a minute to read but it's the cutest minute I have glanced at XD

Another story where I am more into the nonromance parts cause of the world the author has written is so interesting and detailed and I am just eating this story up...(well I am eating up the sequel to it called Fighting Riptides) It starts out with a mystery with Jimin half dead in the snow while pregnant and he's found by Jin and Namjoon who are pretty much outcast in the werewolf community. And Jimin struggles with having to decide to leave and go back home but he can't because he's part of the royals and if they found out he was pregnant he would be killed and it's just a whole emotional ride seeing Jimin have to make tough descions to not only survive but so his baby can have a safe normal life.

This is not the type of story that I usually read..I usually far far farrrrr away from sports XD But I was bored and wanted to read something different and I am happy I read this. It was really simple and cute but it left a litte emotional impact on my heart. I like the way Jimin and Yoongi were bickering at first but they slowly started to bond naturally. And it's always a joy to see angsty Yoongi cuz no one does angst better than him XD (In the fanfic world at least lol)
