jiahui's korean name, which comes from translating her name in hanzi to hangul. it's the name that she've been using ever since she lived in korea, but it's mostly used for formalities purpose only, like enrolling to school and the name on her name tag. most of her friends really just prefer to call her as jiahui instead of gahye, since that is her name. but those who has a hard time pronouncing her name really just calls her as gahye.

jiahui loves playing otome games / dating sims games, and usually otome games requires the players to input their names, but jiahui never inputs her own name and always insert the name meihua as her name. it's actually a combination between the word beautiful (美) and flower (花), in which meihua was actually the name that she wanted to change her name to when she was little. at first the name was just used by her close friends that knows about her otome obsessed side to . but since it's the name she used as her stage name, it actually become her second name.

jinyeboss is a nickname given by her fans, jinyeboss is actually shortened from 진지아회 예쁜 보스, which basically translates to jin jiahui pretty boss. thought jiahui herself finding it rather cringey, but she loves it nevertheless, since it was indeed one of her very fist fan made nickname, so she really appreciate it. thought jinyeboss is rather barely used verbally, it is more often used online by the fans, especially when using it to comment on posts that's praising jiahui's visual.

despite growing up and living in a korean enviroment ever since she was young, jiahui grew up in a family that speaks mandarin in their daily life. her family would still use mandarin inside their household and when speaking with each other in public. jiahui can fluently speak mandarin and read hanzi very well, but isn't that good at writing hanzi since she's more used in writing with hangul and finds hangul a lot simpler than hanzi. if it weren't for her parents and their mandarin only policy at their home, jiahui would basically chinese but doesn't even know how to speak the language.

jiahui had grown living in korea, with her family and herself moving to korea when she was only about three years old. with that she had to learn the korean language at a young age. thought jiahui has only been fluent in the language only around her early days in middle school or at least that is when she began getting used to speaking two languages on a daily basis. thought jiahui isn't that good with words that aren't commonly used on a daily basis, nevertheless she would still understand after others explaining it to her in korean.

jiahui's level in english is basically good enough to ask for directions if she's lost in a foreign country, but probably wouldn't understand it when they replied to them aside from "left, right, straight". she only know common english words as that is the only time she payed attention to english class at school and afterwards when they start a new chapter she basically understand nothing. but as for now, she wants to study english more and at least to expand her vocabulary and fix her grammar.

jiahui lives up to her fan given name jinyeboss well. her clear and smooth complexion complete with a bright tone, covering the surface of both her face and body. acnes are rarely seen as she does her skin care routine diligently, althought acnes would start to appear once in a while if she wears really thick make up all day long. her eyes have double eyelids and thick under eye bags (or what koreans refer as aegyo-sal) that are noticable whenever she smiles. her thin but wide lips are oftenly stained with mlbb or coral shaded lip tint. she isn't the type to do her own make up, but would prefer to just have light make up on her face. jiahui has a long black hair with 5:5 parting, but she prefers to style it as 6:4 on a daily basis. her hair has always been in it's natural black color ever since she was born, her parents has forbid her to dye her hair just as they believed it could damaged it. althought jiahui wish to have her hair dyed if she were to debut. jiahui stands on 169 cm and weights 50 kg, with a slightly underweight bmi of 17.5. she has a mark / spot on her right thumb and on her left wrist.

BACKGROUND
jin jiahui was born on the tenth of september nineteen-ninety seven, to a pair of high incomed family at shenzen, china. she doesn't have much memory of her early life at china as she stayed in the country for a very short amount of time. when she was around three years old, her family moved to south korea. even before jiahui was born, her father has been flying back and forth from china to korea and vice versa for business purpose, and with the company where he worked at asigned him at the company's office at seoul. with that in mind, jiahui's mother thought it would be better if jiahui and herself come along moving to korea with him so jiahui could grow up with a father figure instead of only having to see him once or twice a month.
moving to korea at an agre around three, jiahui practically grew up in the korean envorinment. she didn't have much adjusting to do aside for the language factor. thought she wasn't used to it at first, speaking mandarin at home but having to speak korean out side, she basically jumbled up both languages in the same line most of the times, which earned a lot of teasing when she was young. but she grew to get used to speaking two languages in a daily basis. all in all, jiahui lived a fairly normal life. when jiahui was around six or seven years old, she began taking interest in dancing. one day when she was strolling around a near by neighbourhood from where she lived, she heard some loud songs and saw a large group of people surrounding it. she was curious about it and joined the crowd, she saw a group of people dancing at it really got her interested in dancing
short story straight, her parents only allowed her to take dancing classes when she's around 9 years old but befroe that she had tried dancing a long to the idol groups performing on tv. she actually began having interest in being an idol thanks to watching music shows on tv constantly, even thought she isn't that proud of her singing voice or even think it has potential, still she actually kind of wanted to try it. on 2013, she enrolled to school of performing arts seoul, at first she wanted to enroll there because she wants to go to an art school and take a dance major but then soon it became the big push that leads to her wanting to be an idol. a lot trainees went there (and also idols, but jiahui doesn't really care about the newer idols that much) and also her classmate choi yuna was also a trainee so she asked whether it's worth it or not to be an idol, she told her all about the hardships she might come accross as a trainee but at the end told her that if she really wanted to be an idol than she should try it out.
she asked about it to her parents and told her that she's allowed to audition if she really wants to, but she would have to face the consequences on her own if she ended up regretting it. her parents doesn't really care about it that much since they know jiahui knows what she wants and what interest her more than they do. hence jiahui a month or two later decided to auditioned to cube (because she wanted to go for a rather bigger company, but doesn't want to go as far as the big three, so she decided to go to cube) and surprise surprise, she actually passed the audition.
she trained at cube for three years, basically as long as her whole high school life and left the company due to reasons. a few months later, jiahui then auditioned at big hit entertainment (because, bts) and passed the audition. jiahui had only been training at big hit entertainment for about a year or less, before she was picked to part take at project lunation.

001 ♡ jiahui really likes to play otome (dating sims) games. whether it's on pc or on mobile devices. she doesn't play otome games to help her with her love life or anything, she just like the cheesy and heart fluttering plots of the games. also maybe to lowkey help her future love life or something.
002 ♡ when it comes to buying body mist / perfumes or lotions, jiahui tends to prefer to buy the fresh scented ones, such as fruits scents. she just likes fresh scents rather than those floral scents. to jiahui, floral scents gives off a romantic and soft vibe, whilst fruity scents gives off a vibrant and bright vibe, which she finds more suitable for herself.
003 ♡ just like everyone else, she was also part of the produce 101 season 2 bandwagon. from the beginning she was already a big trash of yoo seonho, seeing seonho and guanlin even made her wished that she stayed at cube a little longer so she could witness the two cuties up close.
004 ♡ the top 11 that she voted for during produce 101 was, the two cube babies, bnm's lee daehwi and park woojin, brave's kim samuel, yuehua's ahn hyungseob and lee euiwoong, maroo's park jihoon, medialine's lee woojin, pledis' kang dongho, choon's jin longguo and individual trainee kim jaehwan. basically a group of fetus and three adults. her two pick was the cube babies and her one pick was def seonho!
005 ♡ she really hates it when someone underestimated her korean skills, even at the slightest "your korean is actually really good". she especially hates it if it was someone that is younger than her for four years and later that says that to her, because she basically already lived in korea longer than them.
006 ♡ despite living in korea for almost her entire life, when jiahui was old enough to choose her citizenship, she chose china over korea. of course, it's where her roots are and it is also because she feels that she would move back later in her life if the idol thing doesn't works out for her.
007 ♡ she has a private instagram and twitter, both account are under the username jinjja_hui. thought if in the future she could make a public account as an idol, she would want to have it under the username jinhuahua as in a jin from her name and hua from her stage name but spell it like chihuahua.
008 ♡ when jiahui is close to someone that is older than her, instead of using the oppa or unnie formalities, jiahui would prefer to use gege or jie jie, even though they are korean, thought only if they alowed her to call them so.
009 ♡ jiahui attended school of performing arts seoul (sopa) and is majored in practical dance. she was actually in the legendary class at sopa, being in the same class with seventeen's dokyeom, gfriend's yuju, wjsn's cheng xiao, and oh my girl's jiho. thought she's not that close with dokyeom, jiho, and also yuju, she's still friends with them. jiahui is the closest to cheng xiao out of all the other idol classmates of hers.
010 ♡ jiahui doesn't really like it when she's the center of the attention just because of her visual or the outfit she wore. jiahui likes to have the attention on her, but not that way, she wants to have the attention of others because of her talent or because of her personality.
011 ♡ she has an iphone 8+ gold, which she got from her parents on her most recent birthday. jiahui uses a transparent phonecase on it and kept a picture of her and her family at the back of her phone and a picture of her in front of cube's company building that she took on her first day being a trainee at cube.
012 ♡ it may doesn't look like it, but jiahui actually wants to debut in a group that do cute concept. to jiahui cute concepts are more public friendly and tends to have catchier songs. thought she wouldn't mind debuting in a group that has a girl crush or y concept, since she herself thinks that she'll suit those kind of concept more than cute concepts.
013 ♡ jiahui is very updated on new song releases. whenever she sees a new song on melon she would listen to it, even if she isn't familiar with the singer. jiahui likes to listen to a song (usually her current favorite song) on repeat all day but jiahui is also the type to get bored easily. that's why she often goes looking for new good songs when she's bored with the songs that she kept listening on repeat.
014 ♡ is a big jyp stan. jiahui has always favored the groups and artists at jyp entertainment, but wonder girls has always been and still her favorite group from jyp and actually even from every existing kpop groups. other than wonder girls, jiahui really likes day6 and twice. her biases are yoobin, jae, and jihyo.
015 ♡ she doesn't have any exact ideal type, thought if she were to choose a celebrity that matches her ideal type she would choose nam joohyuk. nam joohyuk visual wise looks like the type of guy jiahui wants to date. thought for personality wise, she would really like to date and even marry a guy who has the personality of wanna one / nu'est's hwang minhyun.
016 ♡ some of the things that jiahui never forgets to bring whenever she go is her phone, her phone's charger, an earphone, her wallet, wet tissue, and a pouch where she keeps her travel size body mist, cushion powder, lip balm and lip tint. those are the things that jiahui needs and would always make sure that she always have them with her.

STAGENAME 미화, meihua
jiahui at the beginning wanted to use jia as her stage name, but then she realized that there's already a famous jia in the industry, miss a's jia. she also thought it's okay for her to use hui even thought it kind of sounds more of a masculine name, but then pentagon debuted and there's a member with the name hui. jiahui doesn't want to have similar stage names to others, so she decided to use some of her other existing aliases. she decided to go with the name meihua, which is actually the name she always inputs when playing otome games.
but if she was asked the reason behind her stage name, her reason would be that it comes from the word beautiful (美) and flower (花). the stage name for jiahui means that she wants to bloom into a beautiful flower on stage as the time goes by for her as an idol, she wants to continue to improve and grow into a better idol infront of the public, more over the fans.

< 2013 TO EARLY 2016 ♡ CUBE TRAINEE >
jiahui started being a trainee at cube enertainment on june 2013. it was a big shock for her, knowing that cube was a rather big company also, she was rather surprised that even the trainees are all as hard working as her but they were all obviously better than her. she felt misplaced for some reason there. jiahui sees herself as one of trainees that are only a pretty face there, she felt like she was nothing compared to the others there.
jiahui has never had any vocal practice or such, she had only been singing the songs she've heard before and try to sound as similar to the original singer. even when she auditioned for cube she as mostly accepted there through her dancing, not her singing. it was hard for her to keep up with the vocal trainings, as she wasn't confident enough to sing. she just wished that she could just make a debut as a dancer in the group and only sing one or two lines in every song, she felt that it was okay for people to judge her for being a horrible singer as long as her dancing skill could make up her lack of singing skills. but as soon as she realized that there's no where possible for her to debut if she doesn't improve her singing, she decided to finally want to start trying to sing. even thought at first she expected people to laugh and make fun of her voice, she was surprise at how she recieved a positive respond from both the trainers and the other trainees. afterwards, jiahui bound that herself would work harder.
thought a few years passed and jiahui find herself being one of the promising trainee to debut in cube's next girl group as said by many fellow trainees. althought she's not sure if they said so because it's true or if it was because she's this social butterfly that has made a lot of friends among the trainees. alhought, a few month llater she was already in the possible debut line up for cube's next girl group, clc. jiahui knew that it has been years since cube last debuted a girl group and she knew that if she doesn't make it this time who knows when cube would plan another girl group? jiahui had trained with the other clc member lineups and had became great friends with all of them, especially kwon eunbin. but she didn't made the final debut lineup. she then saw another light, a ray of hope, the survival show produce 101, but that too was taken away from her, with her dearest friend of her wanting to part take in the show, when she herself was bound to debut with clc later on.
jiahui has an indescribable feeling about it, she felt betrayed and disappointed but at the same time she wanted to be happy for eunbin. but as she witness her close sister like friend made her debut in clc right after she got eliminated on produce 101, it made it all clear for her. wanted to leave cube as soon as possible, she realized that she was still bitter about not debuting in clc and was highly disappointed with both eunbin and cube, for wasting a really good opportunity on produce 101, which jiahui herself would've happily work hard for. she left cube after her three years long training there, with no regret.
< EARLY 2016 TO 2017 ♡ BIG HIT TRAINEE >
after leaving cube, a few months later she auditioned to big hit (because she actually became interested in big hit because of bts, so she thought why not try that place) and passed it later on. at big hit, she felt all of the insecurities that she faced during her early trainee days at cube. jiahui was shocked to see a lot of talented trainees at big hit, even more talented than some of the trainees she encountered at cube. she couldn't get herself to go and make friends there also because most of them already known each other and all seemed so close and she really felt like she couldn't jump in to any of their conversations.
when project lunation started, jiahui was surprised to find herself being chosen to part take at the project. she does think that she should be qualified for it, but she didn't expect to be in the project as she had only been at big hit for around a year or less. jiahui was surprised, yet again that the atmosphere there changed to this competitive vibe since for the past few month she find that the big hit trainees were less competitive than cube trainees, tho maybe it was because they didn't thought big hit would plan for a girl group sooner or later especially after what happened to glam.
during the project, she find her inner self telling her to work harder, this is that one chance that she needed after being cut out from clc's line up and the produce 101 opportunity she let go. jiahui became a rather different person during the project, she wasn't all that social butterfly, other's before her person she usually is. she just wanted to make it this time, she doesn't want to have this chance taken away from her. she was already tired of her always missing good opportunities. for her, this time, making friends can wait until debut.
PRE-DEBUT FACTS
made an appearance in g.na's secret mv on 2014 as one of the background dancers along with clc's seungyeon, yoojin, sorn, yeeun and seunghee. jiahui is a part of the background dancers that consists of all of the clc members, not the one group of female background dancers that danced with the male ones.

somewhere in the future of the group, the public began to specualte whether jiahui would take the "chinese traitor" rute. people have speculated that jiahui had been hinting that she wants to leave the group with her constantly mentioning about her past ideas to pursue her studies at her hometown in china if she didn't make it as an idol. the public has took her statement as a hint that she is indeed planning to leave the group sooner or later.
#NOTE jiahui's scandals are mostly revolving around her leaving the group to go back to china, since it's pretty common for chinese members in kpop groups to have this "traitorous" image ever since kris, luhan and tao. altought it's false, but jiahui might be one of the first lunation member to leave the group, for education reasons. tought would only happen far in the future.

to put it simple, lunation symbolise the moon and bts symbolise the sun. in the solar system, the sun is the star around which all other heavenly bodies gravitate. Its brightness illuminates the planets, making life possible (sun symbol of life). symbolising bts' members individually is a star but together they form a sun, their successful career leads to earning lots of money for big hit, saving them from their possibly bankrupt state, hence smybolising the "making life possible" for big hit and also to make lunation possible. for lunation as the moon, the phases of the moon symbolise immortality and eternity, enlightenment or the dark side of nature herself. with lunation's debut, if it is a big success it would bring more wealth to the company, with a company to have two active and successful group they could earn a lot and could survive for a long run, making them eternal (like what the moon symbolise). but if lunation's debut doesn't meet expectation, they could also become the "dark side of big hit" the down fall, the negative symbolism of moon.
