✧♡*+:• BEAM ✧ the nickname is used only by those who knows about her private instagram account, which are her sister, her classmates, park woojin and baek gowon. jiseon used the name "beam" on the name section of her account, which she only wrote beam as the name beause it matches the username. beam is the name her classmates and woojin likes to call her as, because it's fast and easy and everyone will immediately know who they're talking about when they say beam. they call her beam more often than jiseon when they're just within themselves. jiseon really doesn't mind them calling her so, just as long as they don't call her beam out loud when there's other people (say, her parents, teachers and even the other school mates). other form of the nickname: beamie, beamah, beamseon.

✧♡*+:• FLUENT ENGLISH ✧ her parents often flies back and forth abroad for business purpose ever since she was little, and they would oftenly bring her and her sister along with them (as the two seems to not like it that much when they leave them home behind). jiseon started learning english when she was young, it was first the basic english just in case she wanders off when they are abroad and could ask people for directions. she eventually spoke english often when they're abroad as she grew older, though even if is comfortable in speaking it, she still continues to learn english at school. she spoke english often too with her sister at times, whether it's just slipping an english word in to the conversation or having a full on conversation in english withe ach other.

✧♡*+:• SCHOOL IS FOR EDUCATION BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T LOOK GOOD ✧ when jiseon arrives at school in the morning, jiseon is seen wearing her varies designer long coats, in which she only wore when she arrives at school and sometimes when she leaves also. underneath the coat, is a uniform worn based off the proper dress code. the blazer is worn, the vest is worn, the tie is worn in a perfect manner, and her shirt are freshly ironed. her skirt may be slightly a few centimeters above her knee, hence why jiseon chose to wear black stockings to school instead of wearing socks. her chosen footwear are usually a pair of black converse or a white sneakers in general. reference.
however, as school hours reaches their middle half of the day. jiseon usually already has the blazer, and sometimes the vest also, off of her uniform. and it's no surprise to other students to see her around school afterwards wearing a hoodie or jacket. no, not hers, she borrows them from either jihoon or woojin, but mostly jihoon since they are classmates. and they would see her leaving with those hoodies as well sometimes (if the boys didn't ask her to return it, if they did, then well she will leave school wearing the coat she wore earlier).
jiseon doesn't accessory her look on a daily basis, aside for a wristwatch she wears occasionally during exam seasons. she is also not the type to do her hair before school, though will tie her hair in to a ponytail if she felt disturbed by her hair when she studies.

jiseon is well, ambitious to say. she has a competitive sense in her and she strive to win. jiseon doesn't like the feeling of defeat. it's not something that she wants to experience a lot. so, it's no surprise to others when they see jiseon being all fired up when it comes to competitions. of course it kinds of bothers other that she can be a bit of a sly kid when she's overboard with her ambition.
her talkative nature is a nice aspect when someone needs a person to talk to. she would talk to them, holds on to the conversations even if she doesn't understand the topic, she just wants to talk. it can be an annoyance to some, as she like to throw out comments a lot and tend to feel annoyed as well when no one gave an insight or reply to what she said.
even if she doesn't really seems like it, but jiseon is very self-conscious. jiseon wary a lot on what people say about her, especially when it's the negative side of her. sure, she would go try and fix those negative things they said about her, but not before her friends tries talks to her how she doesn't need to please everyone. but tho, she can reassure herself that as well, but sometimes she just feels insecure hearing about her negativity.

jiseon is well, someone who easily gets offended very easily. although, as a child it was easy to get angry at others, she used to throw tantrums easily at others. but as a lot of the other kids cried about her "mean" behaviour towards them, she tries to lessen it. although she could only manage to loose the throwing tantrum part. when someone offends her, she is visibly offended and would always replies them with her tone slightly raised. but she would always back away if she feels like she can't take it and would rage out if she doesn't calm herself down.
she is also sensitive. again she is easily offended, she also easily feels down as well. jiseon knows how easily people could affect her mood and feelings, even if she tries to ignores them she would always ends up feeling down about it. she's sensitive of the things around her a little too much for her liking, hence why her feelings are easily droven by what she hears and what she sees.
her feelings always gets the best of her. whenever she's making decisions or going to do something, it's always out of what the heart says. she easily feels empathetic and sympathetic that she sometimes do things without logical thinking. she's more afraid of hurting other's feelings rather than thinking about it in a logical way.
jiseon is stubborn to say that she doesn't let anyone change her mind that easily. she knows what she wants and doesn't let anyone interfere her when she knows what she's doing. she doesn't really favor the feeling of someone correcting her when she's wrong, even when she knows she's wrong. it's just she's pretty full of ego that she can't bear feeling embarassed when someone corrects her.
BACKGROUND.
ham hyowon and hong jaewon, both are the only child of their seperate family. they were brought together by their parents, desire for more fortune by having two of them wed to ease business deals. both side of the family owns two well known clothing brads already, imagine what will happen if they joined together. despite it being arranged, the two that were once good friends found themself working well with each other as a couple and fell in love at the end.
their marriage, led them to have their first born, hong jiseon. she was the only grand child to both side of the family for a while, making her being treated with endless love and spoiled by them a lot. even before she even knows how to do anything. she lived with that kind of treatment, before the next year she was greeted by another addition to the family.
most of her childhood was her sister and herself, being brought to a daycare that is only filled with the kids of their mother's friends. everyday, their parents was so busy with work, all she had was the friends she met at the said daycare. she was a kid, she didn't know why her parents were constantly busy, all she knows is that her parents just have work to do.
she grew up mostly having company with her two childhood friends. if someone asked her what's her most memorable childhood memory, it would always be related to the two boys. it's no surprise to any one now, that jiseon is more open towards her two friends rather than her parents.
jiseon later then met someone who she could trust as much as the boys, a friend out of the blues in her last two years in elementary school. a friend that afterwards became a part of their group of friend, with three becomes four. the three of them were the friends that she has within the loneliness she felt at home, without her parents around almost everyday.
her grandparents and both of their parents did planned to make her and her sister as the heiress of their family business, whether it's their father's side, mother's side, or the joint business. although, they haven't spoken about it to them or show any sign of them going to be one. hence why, their mother keeps on pushing them to focus on their education more than anything.
her mother does let them live their life freely (in which she also influenced her friends to do so as well), they can do whatever they want or go wherever they want as long as they have their education as their prime priority.
growing up, oftenly meeting her parent's business acquaintance, she can't help but to get annoyed, sick and tired of people viewing her friendship with her two boys as some kind of entertainment. bothering her with questions of asking who she likes, who she'd like to date, who her parents set up for an arranged marriage. which led her to hate the idea of romance within them, they're just friends, can't they see that? her evergrowing annoyance leads to her to make the boys promise to her that they won't fall for her. to prove those people they are wrong, that they can have a female-male friendship without romance being involved.
LIFESTYLE.
✧♡*+:• WEEKDAYS ✧ jiseon is a morning person, she wakes up at six am. her body just automatically wake up at that time as she's already used to wake up that early. after waking up, she changes into a sweatshirt and leggings and a pair of sneakers and goes out for a morning jog or sometimes cycle. it's not like she wants to do it, but because her mom told her to do so. it lasts for about an hour, until seven pass ten minutes. afterwards she showers and get ready before leaving to school at seven pass thirty. since she usually arrives to school fifteen minutes before class, jiseon would use that fifteen minutes she have to eat the breakfast that her housmaids packed for her.
on mondays to wednesdays, after school, she have to go to a cram school from six p.m. to eight p.m. with her three friends, jihoon, woojin, and gowon. during those free hours before the cram school starts, the four of them usually hangs out at the mall to grab lunch and or sometimes they go to a pc방. after the cram school, she immediately goes home. she would study some more or do her homework when she have one the next day. before she goes to bed at around ten to eleven p.m.
on thursdays and fridays after school, she usually either hangs out with her friends or would go home immediately. it usually depends on her mood and the other's mood as well to hang out. but they rarely hang out on thursdays and chose to do it on fridays, because they can hang out until around nine p.m. by their respective parents. but sometimes they have group studies on thursdays if they have an exam the next day. similar to other days, jiseon studies some more or do her homework before going to bed around ten to eleven p.m. (sometimes she sleeps past twelve a.m. on fridays)
✧♡*+:• WEEKENDS ✧ on weekends, her routine is more loose and doesn't have a fixed schedule to follow. she usually wakes up late, around eight or nine a.m. as she slept late the night before. after she wake up, she would either have breakfast or go for a morning jog or cycle. afterwads jiseon's day would be pretty loose, she sometimes just spend it lazing around the house with her sister or go out with her or if her friends ask her to go somewhere, she'll go along with them. during weekends, she puts aside the studying as she knows that she needs to rest as well. but on sunday night, she would start studying a little or do her homework if she has one for the next day.

✧♡*+:• 01 ✧ jiseon's parents owns a well known joint clothing line, named (h)among design, or is more well known as just (h)among by the public. both her parents' family already had their own seperate clothing lines, both are also as popular and well known as their joint business. after they got married, they decided to launch a collaboration between the two brand as a project. but due to the overwhelming success of the collaboration, they decided to keep pushing (h)among until they eventually decided to launch (h)among as a brand. (h)among's fashion mostly focuses on casual and trendy style for young adult and teen.
✧♡*+:• 02 ✧ jiseon has two instagram account. @jisseon.h is her public account which almost everyone knows about, she rarely post in that account and it's also to keep the feed's aesthetic. her parents follows her main account, hence why she rarely post there, to avoid her parents judging what she post. @seonb.eam, is her private second account which only those she trust can know about. in which are: her classmates, her sister, her best friend and park woojin. she mostly posts rants and any random thoughts on her mind, it's kind of her "freedom" account, since she can post whatever she wants and she doesn't need to worry about her mom judging her ranting about park jihoon and park woojin.
✧♡*+:• 03 ✧ jiseon isn't the type to be active on group chats, unless it's a group chat that she finds important. she's mostly active in her group chat with jihoon and woojin (#빔참윙 (#beamchamwink)) and another group chat with her, the two parks and gowon (team anti romance ✊😤). she is also active in the class group chat, but usually when the group is alive and most of them are online.
✧♡*+:• 04 ✧ anti romance was created by jiseon. she loathes how people always view female-male close friendship will always leads to a romantic relationship. tired on how her parent's acquaintance and both of her friends' parent's acquaintance keep asking her to chose between them or asking her who she's dating between them. hence why the 2 boys 2 girls group of friends is called as anti romance.
✧♡*+:• 05 ✧ during her spare time, jiseon likes to play solitaire (the spider one and klondike). as much as she likes to play at a pc방 with her two friends, jiseo still prefers games like solitaire where he doesn't have to worry about beating someone else in the game.
✧♡*+:• 06 ✧ despite popular believes, jiseon actually doesn't wear any type of clothes from her parent's brand. unless her mother does ask her to wear it, but if she doesn't, then jiseon has no reason to use them. jiseon doesn't dislike the brand or anything, but she just wants to avoid seeming like she's advertising them to her friends.
✧♡*+:• 07 ✧ jiseon is actually the sporty type of girl. she likes doing sports, like soccer, basketball, or tennis. jiseon would've joined the school's female basketball team if she applied, but she's just isn't in a mood for clubs. since she feels that her schedule is already packed, so she decided to don't do clubs. but jiseon does often play basketball with her friends during weekends (mostly to help jihoon train).
✧♡*+:• 08 ✧ doesn't have any specific kind of music taste. she would listen to anything, honestly. but jiseon does prefer songs that are more slow tempos, rather than loud and exciting songs. jiseon likes to listen to in love with a ghost's songs, she usually plays them out loud when she's studying alone in her room or she listen to them using earphones when she's studying in public places. most of the time she only plays "i was feeling down, then i found a nice witch and now we're best friends" on loop.
✧♡*+:• 09 ✧ despite seemingly like the type of person to prefer wearing a more boysih, laid-back attire, jiseon actually prefers wearing a more feminine look. even tho, she does prefer wearing jeans instead of skirts, but she wears jeans only when she's hanging out with the boys and gowon until late at night (because there might be creeps around). if not she wears skirts more often, since her mom just loves to fill her daughter's closet with pretty casual dresses and skirts. also the boys kinda likes it when she wears skirts or dresses than jeans, just because they can act like a gentleman and give her their jacket to cover her skirt !!!
✧♡*+:• 10 ✧ when she's chatting with her friends or in a group chat, prepare to see jiseon talking with twitter slangs. most oftenly used are uwu, oof, we been knew, tea (or usually a tea emoji), and wig! it's not like she's active in stan twt 👀 actually she does have a stan twitter account (which no one around her knows about), it's dedicated for a certain heize. tho it's not that active, she just goes there to check out what's hot in the kpop scene right now.
✧♡*+:• 11 ✧ jiseon really likes tiramisu and anything tiramisu flavored as well, such as deserts or drinks. tho, she doesn't fancy sweet flavors that much, especially if it's too sweet. she's still okay with chocolates that aren't too sweet and still has a hint of bitterness to it.
✧♡*+:• 12 ✧ likes spicy foods, but couldn't stand them that much. is one of those type of people that still insist to try eating those spicy instant noodles even tho she knows she wouldn't be able to stand them. that one time where jiseon and jihoon dared each other to finish the noodles, alas, both of them ends up crying, sweaty eyed, swollen lips and are still forcing to finish the noodles even if they both couldn't stand it.
✧♡*+:• 13 ✧ she likes to hums to random songs when she's in a good mood, sometimes even whisper-sing the songs as well. it's usually those catchy upbeat idol songs, like russian roulette, bboom bboom, what is love?, and etc. she rarely sings them out loud, kind of not confident enough for it.
✧♡*+:• 14 ✧ jiseon actually really likes couple items, couple looks, or any matchy things people usually have with their friends and or lovers. hence why, the anti romance team are often seen having the same stuff, like phonecase, pen, shoes, hoodie, etc. it's jiseon's idea, and she's not even shameless to ask them to have matchy items with her. and they don't complain either tho, since they're already used to having matchy items since kids anyways.
✧♡*+:• 15 ✧ an avid reader of creepypastas. she reads them often when she's pretty pretty bored and is looking for something to kill time. she doesn't get creep out from reading them tho, since she knows none of those said "true story" creepypastas aren't real. jiseon also often sends links to creepypastas to her friends, even if they kept telling her not to.

ham hyowon is jiseon's beloved mother. her mother is, well a loving and attentive mother to her family. the type of mother who wants all the best for her child. she can come off as a controlling mother at times, but jiseon just sees that it's because she cares about her.
jiseon would say that she is closer to her mother than her father, since she feels that her mother does understand her more than her father does most of the time. despite how stern she is when it comes to jiseon's education.
she actually lets her daughters to be more free in a way of chosing what they want to do, who they want to have as a friend or how they prefer to spend their free times. that being said, she still tells them to put their education as their top priority. it's also the thing she suggested to her friends, to let their kids be free to live their life but they have to have their priority set on the top. hence why, jiseon and her two boys are often roaming around the city.
she is mostly focused on her work rather than her children. and even if she's not busy with work, she's mostly found gathering with her "mom clique". though being said, she still tries to find time to check up on her daughter's life update.

hong jaewon is jiseon's beloved father. unlike her mother, her father is more of a loose and go with the flow type of person. he is less strict comparing to her mother, but is a lot more protective towards his daughters.
despite so, he actually trust the two park boys around his daughters. he's just acting like he doesn't trust them, just because he likes to mess around with jiseon's closeness with the boys.
he is more often found at work, he is in fact even busier than their mother. even he himself doesn't have the time to have meet ups like his wife. rarely do check up on his daughter's life, not because he doesn't care, he just doesn't have that kind of time to do so.

hong miseon is jiseon's a year younger sister. the two shares an awfully similar personality with one another. as labeled by her two childhood friends, jiseon and miseon are "a deadly pair when they are together" as both are just as stubborn and loud as the other, that other people might not be able to handle both of them at once.
jiseon would say that both of them are a close pair of sister, tho both are kind of lowkey showing how they care each other. most of the time, they only have each other as a company at home, as both of their parents are busy.
most of their conversations are about their interest or something like incidents at their school, or gossips or anything interesting or funny or etc. that they saw that day. those kind of conversations. but they never talk about their feelings to each other, "too weird to imagine us talking about boys together" as said by miseon.
miseon is also friends with jihoon and woojin. how can she not? she's always dragged in to their play dates when they were little and none of their mother's friends have a child that's the same age as her, so miseon had to tag along.
she's like a sister to them, and they are like an annoying older brother to her. especially, how they keep blowing up her notifications whenever jiseon isn't responding to them. jiseon wouldn't find it weird at all to say that the two boys are actually more like miseon's older sibling than she is.

jiseon's best friend ever since their late elementary school days. the two had been going to the same school ever since their elemtary days, they became classmates at their fifth year and ever since they became very close friends.
lucky for her, gowon is just as sociable as she is. even she became fast friends with both of her childhood friends just after she itroduced them to her. hence making the four of them in one small group of four friends.
gowon's her best friend where she could joke around and could expect a helping hand. they've known each other for a long time, but since both of them are pretty stubborn, expect loads of petty fights between them. not to mention that gowon seems to hung out with woojin a little too often now, that she even uses his method of cheering her up, a.k.a she keeps on teasing her even more.

✧♡*+:• 01 ✧ jiseon usually only studies at school and at the cram school she attends after school on mondays to wednesdays. hence why, she is often seen doing the homework that was just given that day during recess hours. heck, jiseon would even bring her notebooks and pen to the cafetiria and she does it while she eats lunch (hence why a lot of people thought that she's all crazy with studying).

on his first day at yeonggwang, jihoon was just being playful with his two friends. he tries to act cute towards jiseon and started to wink at her multiple times, in which she found cute and record him winking at her and afterwards she post it on her instagram account.
with her instagram account already having quite the the number of followers, it wasn't hard for it to spread around school. the others also finding jihoon's wink cute, they started to call him wink afterwards.

known each other ever since they were prettily wrapped up in diapers, barely speaking, barely walking. their mom was in a somewhat "rich mom clique" and of course making them friends as well. they would often take their babies during their hang outs and usually for the kids to interact and play with each other. the two had always been together along with a certain kid named park woojin, they played together as a kid and practically grew up together.
being such close friends ever since they were young, wouldn't it be a normal thing to develop some sort of romantic feelings for each other right? nope, wrong. for jiseon, it's really not something she wants to happen between her and both of the boys. growing up, her parent's acquaintance, his parent's acquaintance, they all asked her "which one do you like more?" "who are you dating between them?" "oooh, i'll bet the boys will fight over you when they grow up" no, can't a female and male relationship be purely platonic?

"maybe i am, maybe i'm not" jihoon mutters lowly, but was still audible for jiseon to hear. she took a quick glance at the boy on her right, she huffed. seven years old jiseon would've loved hearing that.

lots of jokes, laughing, giggles and skinship! yes, that's how their interaction was for years until one point in middle school. afterwards, their relationship is now filled with teasings, lots and lots of teasing, flirt-tease, bantering over some game, and jiseon trying to avoid physical contact with him.
"don't they have anything nice to say to each other?" is the question that a lot of people think of when they see them. how can they not? jihoon likes to push buttons that ends up angering jiseon, and jiseon would reply his remarks with a face filled with tantrum. jihoon calling her babe all the time, teasing her, and jiseon would scoff at all of his sweet words thrown at her. of course that's what jihoon wanted, expressing his feelings without her actually aware of his feelings.
jiseon also doesn't seem all comfortable even seeing skinship and jihoon in the same sentence, unlike how she is with woojin. jiseon can cooperate with just slight shoulders brushing against each other or maybe maximum of jihoon slinging his hands around her shouders (even though she is still kind of uncomfortable with that).
aside from all of that, jiseon also goes to jihoon for comfort, since he's a lot more comforting than woojin. the only time she'll feel comfortable around him (not that she's not on other occasions, but comfortable in a soothing and comforting way?) is whenever she needs someone who to listen to her, her ramblings, her worries and her feelings. just someone she can go to for mental support when she's feeling down. hearing him reassuring her things will be fine, patting her back as he says so, always calms her ever sine she was young.

unlike with jihoon, jiseon is physically more comfortable with woojin. in a way that she's more comfortable doing skinship with woojin rather than jihoon. jiseon clings a lot to him and the other way around as well. really, it makes a lot of people misunderstood them a lot, even jihoon.
her relationship with woojin could be described as lowkey but actually highkey protective older brother and a whinesome little sister who acts as if she doesn't need the affection he gives. both are a such a tsundere, that all they do is throw insults and teases each other daily. to a point where expressing affection is something that's very weird for them, odd to say when they basically clings on to each other all the time.
but as much of a "tsundere" the two might be, jiseon is more stubborn than woojin so she refuses to show any affection or care towards him, it's just something she can't imagine her doing. on the other hand, woojin giving care and affection toward her isn't that rare. woojin is litterally the one who would help her face her problem and if someone picks on her he'll tell them to get lost.
woojin would even go to her place in the middle of the night if she tells him that she's lonely at home because her parents are abroad, with foods along with him if she also say that she's hungry. he would do those little but affectionate actions like reminding her to eat her meals, reminding her to not sleep too late, and gives her a warm hug whenever she feels down.
he'll do those things, even if he sometimes says things like wanting to see her get drowned in the ocean or something. he does cares about her a lot.
to a point where he has to ask himself, is his care just purely platonic or not.

woojin was obviously bitter hearing that jiseon accepted jihoon's confession. was he dissapointed that he wasn't the one she chose? of course. but he couldn't hate both of them just because they are dating. he cares for both of them too much to hate them just over a ridiculous romantic feeling. even tho he tries to have a group hang out at times with them, they would turn it down saying that they already have a plan to go on a date. he felt distant. he feels like he's out of place whenever he's with the two of them.
he didn't want to avoid them or anything, he never had that intention in mind. but he can't bear feeling ignored by them, so he decided to keep their distance. woojin would only talk to gowon at times about the two, as they're classmates and she seems to still be in good terms with both of them.
when gowon told him that jiseon told her that she wants to end her relationship with the sake of their friendship, he doesn't know how to react. happy? maybe, but he worries how jihoon would view him afterwards. but they're good friends, right?
