nikolai is a lot of things. he has strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea that he believes in with clever and wit. when he comes to believe that something is important, he will pursue that goal with conviction and energy. he will rock the boat if he has to, something not everyone likes to see, but his passion for his goals cause in an inseparable part of his personality. that passion is what drives him to do his best. he can be very meticulous about how he goes about it, but that's just how is is.

nikolai is a romantic by heart. each time he goes out into public, he expects this will be the day that he'll meet his soulmate. at least, a part of him does. he knows it crazy to think that way, but the excitement gets him going.

he's also not one to beat around the bush. he's blunt, very much so. he doesn't have a filter and it's what gets him into a lot of trouble. being sarcastic and stubborn are other factors that tend to get in his way of growth, but they are what makes him, him.

background.  nikolai's father was from malaysia, but was adopted into a big italian family when he was a child. nikolai's mother was from south korea who went to italy for work and met his father, the two quickly falling in love. getting married a year later and another year after the wedding, nikolai was born.

growing up asian in italy was a bit hard for nikolai, but he didn't let that down. most of the bullying came from his beautiful looks getting the ladies attention away from all the other boys.

at the age of eleven, nikolai was roaming the internet and came across super junior 05. it was love at first sight. nikolai became addicted to kpop and it was all help to super junior.

fast forward some years and nikolai, freshly graduated, decided to do something completely different that had his parents quite shocked. he was going to audition for sm entertainment. his parents honestly had no problem that their son wanted to do this, they knew he had thought this through and let him.

nikolai won't lie. he knew sm entertainment only accepted him for his looks. he wasn't particularily strong in vocals, dancing, or rapping (*shudders*). it had to be his looks, though he didn't care. it just meant he just needed to work harder to achieve his dream.

though he dream of debuting under sm entertainment seemed to down under when sm had no plans of debuting another boy group. so...he left. but thankfully a scouting agent from sunlight entertainment easily recruited him (again for his looks) into the company and nikolai swore that he would work extra harder to reach his dream.

   things that make me happy

likes.  coffee, memes, gucci, diet coke, romance novels and movies, skinships, chocolate, video games, makeup and skincare products, cats, summer, and spicy foods.
dislikes.  horrible fashion, homophobia, being told no, rejection, pimples, rude es, winter, bugs, sleeping alone, and blood.
hobbies.  updating his social media accounts, playing video games, cooking italian cuisine for the members of sole, annoying the members, and working out.
habits.  taking long showers and taking forever in the bathroom, singing in the shower, biting his lip when nervous, sleepwalking into the members' bed at night to sleep and snuggle with them, making puns and being a walking meme, and doing things ually (like his lips, the fork and spoons, his fingers, etc).
trivia. 
· it has been stated that nikolai actually owns ten cats, but was only allowed to bring two of them to south korea. his parents are taking care of the eight cats back in italy.
· his ten cats are named: adele (f), beatrice (f), carmen (f), dino (m), edda (f), fabio (m), gemma (f), hector (m), irene (f), and juliet (f).
· dino and juliet are the cats that he brought with him to south korea.
· his parents hold a skype conversation every other week so nikolai can check on his remaining cats and see if his parents are taking good care of them.
· obsessed with his appearance, the littlest thing that hinders his face will make him blow up.
· nikolai absolutely love diet coke. it's his ultimate drug.
· he's really good at cooking, especially italian cuisine.
· his favorite italian foods are gnocchi and carbonara.
· his favorite korean foods are bulgogi and kimbap.
· despite the way he acts, he is a total top. makoto brings the dominance out of nikolai.
· nikolai sleeps a lot (thinkg of exo's kai). he's usually seen sleeping or leaning on another member sleepily.
· really really loves memes.
· a king of fanservice. he knows what the fans want and he gives them what they want.
· has a real big celebrity crush on loona's yves. he thinks she is just so cute and beautiful. he can't help himself, but be her biggest fan.
· hyuna's lip and hip is his current ringtone.
· nikolai prefers y girl group dances than cute girl group dances. he says it matches his appearance better.all of hyuna's songs are his jams.
· he is technically still a , him and makoto haven't gone all the way yet (he wants makoto first time to be special).
· in school, math was his favorite subject. he was always the top of his school when it came to math also. give him a math equation and he'll solve it just as quickly as you asked him.
· has told makoto that if sm entertainment doesn't debut him in the next year or two, he wants him to transfer to sunlight entertainment.

nikolai's friendship with makoto started at sm entertainment. they are thick as thieves. nothing can break them up or separate them. it's either both of them or none of them. it was hard when nikolai switched companies, but they are still as close as before. makoto is nikolai's precious cinnamon roll.

      
LOLA ARACINI / FAV  【 AMANDA ARCURI 】

a friend from liverno that nikolai grew up with since they were toddlers. lola was actually nikolai's first girlfriend (sort of, it's a long story). when high school hit, they both found each other's real preferences (nikolai liking guys while lola liking girls). they are just as close as nikolai is with makoto. lola treats nikolai's cats just like her own children and helps his parents take care of them.

daehyun reminds nikolai of makoto a lot, so he tends to take care of the boy much like he used to with makoto. he sees him like a little brother he never had and much like daehyun's big brother, he tries to act like one for him as well (but usually fails because nikolai is not a good influence).

lnikolai looks up to necalli a lot. with their unique co-ed concept, he really hopes they slay charts and become just as popular as other groups.

trainee life.  training with sm entertainment was...harsh as everyone says. there are so many trainees who have the same dream as you, it's hard to show the instructors all your skills. thankfully, makoto helped him through the two years he was with the company because of his optimism, but it could only help so much.

on the way back the dorms after an exhausting day of training, nikolai was stopped by a scouting agent from sunlight entertainment. it sounded so good to nikolai, he couldn't give it up. so he transferred to the new company.

though he wanted to debut, he passed on sunlight's first group necalli. he felt like his skills weren't up to par just yet. he wanted to continue training. so he did and look where he is now.

do you have any goals you want to achieve with Sole? 
i want to achieve star status for sole. i want to help sole achieve and become the top kpop group.

do you have any role model? How do they inspire you? 
milky white kim heechul! *coughs* i mean, kim heechul-sunbaenim. he is the reason i got into kpop.

do you have any ideal type as well? 
if i had to pick an idol that represents my ideal type... *rubs his chin as he thinks for a second* i'd say loona's newest member yves! she's real beauty just like me. *flips hair*

how do you feel about the concept of your group? 
i really like the concept! it will showcase all of our skills so when we do debut all together, fans will know that we all have the skills for what it takes to be a kpop idol.

what do you think about your labelmates, necalli, adora and loona?
all love all of them- *gets interrupted, static sounds before going back to normal* necalli are like the big siblings of sunlight. i look up to them for debuting first. adora are like the little sisters i never had, i want to protect them from all the anti-fans. and don't get started about loona with me. *goes starry-eyed*
