A Lesson Learned: Let's Make a Change

As you all heard the tragic story yesterday, I'm deeply hurt and I still couldn't accept the fact that Jonghyun, an amazing person who left a great impact in the entertainment world, is no longer with us right now. However, I also believe Jonghyun didn't die in vain. His story opened our eyes to the rotting problem in the entertainment world, specifically the Korean entertainment world. I've come across people who see idols as untouchable gods yet that is far from the truth. Idols are humans, incredibly talented and gifted humans. Humans have feelings and have limits.

Jonghyun's story shows us that, no matter the circumstances, he is still human. We could all learn from this story and reflect ourselves on how we treat or view idols. His story should teach us a lesson. Entertainment companies should also reflect on the way they manage their artists.

A petition has started regarding this problem...

Let's take Jonghyun's story as a motivation to change the world for the better.

May he rest in peace.
