- kim yeon :: nickname used by her close friends and her fellow members
- dean :: a shortened version of her english name, used by some of her close friends
- arie (ar-ee) : her childhood friend uses this and is the only one
- cray yeon :: a nickname given to her coz she can be a bit cray cray, jeon jungkook gave her this nickname, he calls her this with the tone of gd's crayon (avid gd fanboy)
- kitten :: a nickname given to her by her dad while her brother got tiger as a nickname, she would often complain about this
- halfling & ace :: nicknames used by her brother, halfling is used because of her short height. ace is more of an endearment nickname because of how ardene took care of him and their dad before and because she's an amazing sister
- oppa/ hyung :: her boyish personality got her this nickname, her boyish side is her natural side
- cereal killer :: fans noticed that she would often bring cereal and milk wherever she goes and would eat, the trainees were the first one to call her this
- savage cat :: fans love how savage she is naturally and because she resembles a cat, she gets called this
- munchkin :: the equivalent of beagle idols, she is a munchkin. munchkin cats are known to be really playful and can't stay still, well that's ardene really. also it's a play on her height as well lol
- spitfire :: given by the fans because of her savage and roasting habits
- english : native : born and raised in melbourne
- korean : fluent-ish : korean was only used in their household and when talking to her grandparents and cousins. so she was pretty fluent but not to the point that she understands everything. when she moved to seoul, the language barrier was not that strong but she still had a difficult time with unknown words and such.through the years, she has learned a lot more and improved but she still has a bit of a hard time reading and pronouncing words. and there are still a lot of words that she doesn't know, her accent is still a bit evident. she sometimes switches to english if she really doesn't know how to say it in korean. she also talks in konglish as well.
- japanese : conversational ; she started taking japanese lessons in her third year of training. her skills are better than conversational when it's on pen and apper but when she talks in japanese, she tends to jumble words and sometimes uses korean words that are similar to a japanese word and she jumbles both languages.

she's also really observant. she likes watching people, her surroundings, everything. from the smell of the morning dew, the coldness of a winter night, how the sun shines through the trees. she can see the good in the bad and the bad in the good. because she’s observant, she can predict what other people are thinking or what they feel as of that moment by just their facial expressions and body language. this side of her shows that she's a real softie and is very caring towards everything and everyone.

she is a perfect example of a mischief maker. she projects an aura of freshness and enthusiasm. she likes to cause trouble and prank people in a playful way, all with good intentions of course. she likes to liven up the atmosphere with her humorous stories and jokes and sometimes lame ones as well. she'll laugh at her lames ones which makes the whole room laugh with her. she's also always down for new experiences and anything that can give her a smile or laugh when reminiscing about it. she enjoys making people smile and laugh and it calms her and she doesn't know why. she is a master of communication and is a very amusing and gifted entertainer. fun and variety are guaranteed when she is around. have her as a friend, you will never be bored; with her, you can enjoy life to the full and celebrate the best parties.

ardene is a person who accepts a person as they are. she doesn't really care about what other people label them, as long as she knows what kind of person they are, she wouldn't take other people's judgment. she's willing to embrace change and and try new things. she gets bored when things are repetitive. she respects each person's difference and encourages them to be proud of themselves. she doesn't label people other than those b*stards who are worthless and all that.

ardene is really a boyish girl. maybe because of growing up with a dad and a twin brother. she's always down for anything and loves the thrill. bungee jumping, sky diving, you name it. she's pretty relaxed with herself and around people and doesn't mind ruining her image. she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty but well she is afraid of cockroaches and spiders. she likes skateboarding with her brother and other friends.

a typical pisces trait. she is a pretty emotional and sensitive person. she is easily touched or easily hurt by things or people. she cries easily and is labeled a cry baby by some. but her emotions are genuine and real. she will most likely be the first one to cry in a sad drama or movie. she is also pretty good hiding her real emotions though, especially if she doesn't want to cause worry to people.

everything she does is really extra and unpredictable. from her reactions to her imitations and all. she's like a living meme and people can't help but laugh and enjoy. but sometimes it can be cringeworthy but still funny. she does stuff out of the box and out of the norm. it's no surprise if one of her antics trends and becomes viral. she also has a weird way of explaining her thoughts and stuff. she basically doesn't care about her image, which gets her scolded. she also out of nowhere asks senseless and nonsense questions that makes you go wtf at her.

she speaks fluent sarcasm. she gets irritated when she says something that is the furthest thing from serious, but the person she's talking to just doesn’t understand her sarcasm. when she meets someone and she instantly hates them, she has a super hard time hiding it. she kinda got the habit of ending sentences with 'just kidding' or 'it was a joke' to lighten things up when everyone got silet or something. since she's known to be mischievous and funny, people don't get when she's being sarcastic or being funny and it irritates her a lot, which draws out her sarcasm even more.

ardene is arrogant. growing up and getting used to being labelled as perfect by people got in her head. she has that overbearing pride and thinks she knows things more than she actually does. she loves displaying her elevated opinion and will act high and mighty. she just loves to be the center of attention and hates it when someone steals her spotlight. she diminishes others to make herself feel more superior. she kinda has a superiority complex. she is also aggressive.

ardene tends to intrude in other people's business. this trait links to her high mindedness. she thinks that she can help by meddling with other people's problems. though she has a good mindset about it, it comes off as annoying and irrelevant to many. she's always curious about what other people are talking or whispering about and can't help but want to know.

she is a living example of brutal yet awesome. she speaks her mind, thoughts and opinions freely, without holding back. if she knows you're at fault, she will no doubt confront you about it. she doesn't mind you disliking her or think of her negatively. she's the person who did or said something nobody else had the guts to. she doesn't care about the consequences of her actions. her words can be really harsh to the point of making the other party cry.
ardene was born in sydney, australia to korean parents. she also has an older brother of 3 years. growing up, ardene loved the ocean. their father would take them to the beach and sometimes they would accompany him at his work when they go by boat to the sea. they would also go hiking, camping and fishing during the their summer breaks. ardene grew up pretty adventurous and boyish. still she never had taken a liking to insects though. she took up piano since she was four years old well just because she has an asian mom and asian mom's usually enroll their kids in stuff. she took a liking to it though but she can't seem to fully love it. she was more of a 'fun and active' kind of girl.
when she was 6, she confessed this to her brother. her brother then invited her to watch him in his dance classes (he took up hip hop classes the same year ardene started piano as well, since he already started with his taekwondo lessons before, which is like a common thing for sons to learn if you're korean lol). while watching him, she can't help but bob her head to the rhythm. seeing this, the dance instructor encouraged her to try it out. surprisingly she had a natural talent as said by the instructor and well she had a lot of fun and asked her parents to let her take dance class as well with much pleading towards her mom since her dad wants what his daughter wants. so since she was 6, she started hip hop classes. she gradually started branching out towards other dance genres such as popping, locking and even break dancing. though she considered hip hop as her forte. she still focused on her piano, because her mom wanted her to at least learn the piano to contrast with her hip hop. when she was 8, her parents got divorced, reason still unknown to the siblings and her dad won custody over the two siblings because he has a high paying job (he's a medical oncologist, granddad died from cancer, he wanted to be a person that can cure cancer, random fact lol) her mother was only a housewife. it affected her relationship with her dad, but he reasoned out that he'll explain once they get older. academic wise, she does really well in school being an all a student with an average gpa of 3.21. her family was also active members of the church as well as its choir. she's a pretty good singer and enjoyed singing as well, but still prefered dancing.
her brother and her usually compete in dance competitions as a duo, named a-squared. they're quite known for being really good for their age. they would win or bag awards in compettions, not always first place but they still get awards. in 2011, they were selected to compete at a dance competition in seoul. they flew to korea with their dad and they stayed at their uncle's place for a while. on the day of the competition, there were a lot of people from different backgrounds and countries. they didn't win first but they got the judges' choice award. after the awardings, they went backstage. a few minutes later, they were approached by a man, who introduced himself as a big hit scout manager. he explained to her dad that he wanted to scout ardene to be trainee at big hit. her dad was unsure if he would allow his only daughter to live in a country far from their home, though he knows that they have relatives here. he asked ardene if she wanted to try it out. she was unsure as well and needed time to think about it. she didn't even know about the kpop scene before until now. the man gave them his calling card and told them to call him if they change their mind. after about three days of discussing with her family and thinking over it on her own, she decided to take a new path of challenge and agreed to join big hit entertainment, unsure if she'll even debut as a kpop idol.

- food ; she is a huge foodie and loves to stuff herself real good
- purple ; she would literally go gaga over any shade of purple, her spirit color
- shoes ; she loves them and buying them and just displaying them in her room. has a big collection and treats every pair like her baby

ardene has known felix since he was in his diapers. their parents were close friends thus they grew up together. ardene would babysit felix when their parents went somewhere and they would watch movies and cartoons all night long. ardene is also close with felix's sisters but is particularly closer to him. their families go to church together and they both sit beside each other. actually in any occasion, they sit beside each other. felix has a certain attachment to ardene. he also took up taekwondo. they spar with each other sometimes, felix purposely losing to ardene, but he knows she's really strong. they would train together before a competition and they used to have a tradition of eating ice cream the night before the competition. ardene helps felix with his studies as well, he also tries to help ardene in math even though he was like three grades below her. they would usually go to the beach together or the movies and even the arcades. when ardene broke the news to felix that she'll be jyp trainee, he didn't talk to her for three days until ardene's patience ran out and she called his sister's phone instead. it was an emotional night, mostly ardene crying telling felix that she didn't want to leave him. when she started living in seoul, felix and her always kept in touch. they would face time each other and would always ask how they're doing. late 2016, recieved a call from felix. he asked her a favor of checking this shop that he's curious that he found on the net. luckliy it was their day off that day from training. she put on a cap and went to the place felix said, with the address he sent her. it turned out to be a cat cafe. she peaked through the glass but then felt someone tap her shoulder. she turned around and to her surprise, felix was there smiling dorkily at her.
"oi. what on earth are you doing here?" she asked as she stood up from the floor then approached felix. "as of today, i'm a jyp trainee." felix said smiling at ardene playfully. ardene had open from shock before shoving felix lightly. "well why didn't you tell me you bloke." felix laughed at her. "i wanted to suprise you is all." felix calmed down and opened up his arms. ardene smiled warmly before wrapping her arms around felix. "missed you so bloody much lixie." ardene said through felix's chest. "missed you too arie." when they parted. ardene scanned felix. "how the bloody hell did you grow so fast. you were just this small last time i saw you." she put up to her eye level. "puberty." felix said amused at ardene's reaction. "puberty my rump. you're still a baby in my eyes lixie." she said as she ruffled his hair.
even though they're from different companies, they usually go eat together and ardene showed him around when she wasn't busy. she also helped him in his korean through face time, though she wasn't a very good teacher since she also has a hard time in korean. she also critiqued his dancing, rapping and singing which he sends through videos to her. when they aren't training, they would go out and catch up with each other. felix would share his burdens and ardene would help him with encouraging words and advises. since their families are not in korea, they stick to each other a lot.
felix often calls her to recieve strength and energy. when he told ardene about the debuting survival show by jyp, she made sure that he wasn't overstressing himself. she treated him to whatever he wanted the night before the trainee showcase. they ended it with hot choco by the han river. when felix got eliminated from stray kids, he immediately called ardene and confessed his struggles and pain. they went out together, felix in a cap and mask, and just hung out by han river. ardene stayed with felix until she was sure he was okay.
the first to develop feelings for the other was felix. you can say it started when he saw her after years of separation. her hair was a mess from dancing and had a funny shocked expression but he didn't care and was seriously ecstatic to see her. ardene on the other hand was awestruck at felix's growth and she admitted that he looked bloody good from the little wimpy kid she knew before (though felix also took taekwondo lessons). their relationship stayed the same but then felix became a bit flirty with ardene. she shrugs off his advances and will act as if it was a joke. she keeps on emphasizing that he's a baby brother to her and will forever be a baby in her eyes. this irritated felix and well he wanted for her to see him as a man. ardene realized this but still didn't take his advances seriously.

to link bts and lunation, since serendipity, bts has been teasing lunation. in the serendipity mv, the earth was shown. this could mean that bts is the sun, the video is the earth, and lunation the moon. during new moons, we can't see the moon because the moon is between the earth and the sun. this interprets that there is a hidden message in serendipity mv, which is a tease for their upcoming girl group, lunation. another hint is the eclipse. the sun being covered then the part where jimin is under that stars, the moon was near him, it can translate that the time for lunation's reveal is nearing. the last scenes of the mv where the eclipse was shown again, and jimin's 'world' starts lighting up means a new beginning and dream is starting.
the dna mv is next. if you read the lyrics, bts could be talking about lunation. rm's part: "you're the source of my dream, take it take it. my hand reaching out to you is fate decided" it's kinda like they're passing the baton to a new generation/beginning which is lunation. after that, jk's and v's lines could mean that lunation shouldn't worry if people will compare them to bts, then a moon appeared during the line "we're totally different, baby...." lunation is lunation. and they are destined to do greatness. the chorus part, "from the day of the universe's creation and on through the infinite centuries and on. in the previous life and maybe the next too, we're forever together, dna" could mean from the day big hit created them, through many difficulties and struggles, they're always together, they're connected through their dna. nearing the end of the song and music video, a huge moon that is phasing appeared. they pretty much emphasized on the moon a lot. and at the end of the song and music video, bts had their backs towards the viewers but are facing the moon. can mean that they're ready to reveal the group and that they're looking forward to share their dreams with lunation. dna can also mean that they share the same dna since the galaxy was also emphasized through out the mv, they're from the same galaxy (big hit) and bts is the sun, lunation is the moon xD i'm so sorry about this my head is loco right now can't think straight, i don't even know if these made any sense xDD
