ELABORATION:
witty : this is definitely one thing that her friends love about her (if she had any). apart from the rest of her personality, she has some rare qualities such as this one that is rather enjoyable. she has a captivating humor to her, and it comes at the least expected of moments. often times, to lighten the mood.
observant : she can normally pick up on things others can't, such as tracks, footprints, or the change in the wind that means a storms coming. she's preceptive of things like these.
confident : of course, she'd have to be confident in order to walk around in the kind of style she does, but she's even more confident in who she's become over the years than anything else, because she thinks she's stronger because of it.
thick-skinned : over time she's become more used to the fact that not everybody is going to like her.and you know what? she doesn't care. say what you will, so long as she knows herself and her motives, she will go on.
liberal : she's opened to hearing other sides of things/opinions because everybody deserves to be heard. she's also opened to gaining wisdom, or picking up on things other people do. (this is the big developmental trait)

impulsive : no, this doesn't apply to her fighting style or battles, because she knows that one move can definitely determine the course of a battle, not to mention she's sort of like a strategist, so that'd defeat the purpose. her impulsiveness regards to people. what she says, what she does. that's impulsive.
cautious : cause i've got issues, and you've got them too-- okno. but she's got the trust issues, as stated earlier. so she's cautious to who she lets into her business. she's not going to go around flaunting every aspect of her life to people she's only been around for five seconds. everybody is guilty until proven innocent, even her.
sly : she's got thousands of plans under her belt, and if you give her enough reason to, she'll make sure that her plan is followed through. it's smart not to trust her, otherwise it's you're own fault (this doesn't count to people sh'es made peace with though, she'd have no reason to double cross them)

BACKGROUND: mii-ok was born to her mother, jung dalshim and her father, lee tae-un on november 22 in jinhae-gu. or, at least that's what mii-ok had thought, until her sister told her otherwise after the death of their mother. but, i'm getting way ahead of myself. mii-ok never had a father around. she never asked, but only because it never dawned on her to ask. mii-ok was a child who prefered her own company. not even her sister's company was welcomed. unfortunately, a while after mii-ok's fourth birthday, her mother fell ill, and died shortly after, leaving her with her sixteen year old sister, haein. mii-ok was very attatched to her mother, and after learning of her death, she begun to act out, like any child would when they couldn't get what they wanted. haein struggled much more than she ever had. she began to despise her little sister, but continued to get her into shape. with all the anger, sorrow, and pent up emotions, mii-okhad managed to manifest her powers. it had taken haein off guard to see her sister with their fathers abilities. after all, haein had taken after her mother, so there was no way she could assist mii-ok. it just caused more problems for the broken family, but haein never gave up on her sister no matter the extent of the problems.
when mii-ok was old enough to attend school and get proper training, that's when she started popping questions about their father left and right. haein and mii-ok still weren't as close as haein would like, but whatever they had was good enough for now. she sat mii-ok down and told her everything she'd known about their father.
"he was a good man", she'd tell mii-ok. "as you know, mother didn't posses snow-like abilities. you got those from our dad. snow magic isn't easy to come by these days. i know mom would tell you a whole bunch of stories before you went to bed. how he was a hero in the grand order. not all of it was true though. he wasn't a hero. he was a flawed, cowardly man who signed up for the order as soon as he found out mom was pregnant again. as much as i'd like to think of him as a good man, he was a bad father. didn't know how to raise his own children. he was a skilled combatant...and he did do well in the order, but not enough to survive it. he died doing what he did best. running."
mii-ok was full of anger and confliction at the conversation about their father. it distanced them even more for an amount of time. haein wished they never had the conversation, because she has to watch this transition of a semi-happy child to a darker version of that child. mii-ok embraced slitude more than ever in this short lived time in her life. she threw her emotions away and focussed on her abilities at hand. she needed to figure out her powers on her own. it was a major part on how she just coped with the world around her.
LIFESTYLE: there's nothing extremely eventful in her day to day life. a huge portion of it is spent in meditation, to keep her emotions and energy at bay. a lot of her powers take up a lot of her energy and leave her drained by the end of the battle, so she tries to save up as much of it as possible. so, when she's not meditating, she's at school or training with some mage's. she doesn't go out much due to her selective social life.
RELATIONSHIPS:
sister/guardian | lee haein | 28 | haein tries her hardest to be everything mii-ok needs, but by this point, mii-ok has shut off the entire world. she can't see everything haein does to make her comfortable, and at ease. BUT hopefully if they ever meet up again (and after much character developement), she will thank her sister for everything she's done for her. after that, i think they'd have a pretty decent relationship.
