Writing Thoughts

Whenever I'm writing a story or wrote a story, I'm always amazed by how I started everything. Lol not trying to sound narcissistic because my stories aren't that great. I feel like I really enjoy writing angst so much because it just have so much emotions in it that whenever I write it I actually feel myself connect with the plot despite never experiencing the event in real life. I dont know why I'm writing about this but I just thought I'd share.

Lately I've been trying to write romcom but found it difficult because I'm not a happy person lol. I couldnt keep up with the emotions. Although I'm glad that I tried it even though I'm not funny and thats probably the reason why I don't like writing in that style.

Also I don't know why I find it very hard to maintain the same pace and style when writing. When I read my own stories I can tell when I started to lose interest on the fanfic. It makes me feel really bad for the readers. However I'm still experimenting and found it fascinating that there are actually people who read my stories despite it not being high quality.

What's your favourite genre to write/read?

My favorite genre to write is angst, preferably mental disorder and psychological. I like to delve into the imperfect human mind and create murderers and bad characters. Not mafia!AU's, though, I don't have a lot of those. Just criminal settings and characters that generally don't fit there.
But I like reading fluff, lmao.
