Background: ardene was born in sydney, australia to korean parents. she also has an older brother of 3 years. growing up, ardene loved the ocean. their father would take them to the beach and sometimes they would accompany him at his work when they go by boat to the sea. they would also go hiking, camping and fishing during the their summer breaks. ardene grew up pretty adventurous and boyish. still she never had taken a liking to insects though. she took up piano since she was four years old well just because she has an asian mom and asian mom's usually enroll their kids in stuff. she took a liking to it though but she can't seem to fully love it. she was more of a 'fun and active' kind of girl.

when she was 6, she confessed this to her brother. her brother then invited her to watch him in his taekwondo class. she was so mesmerized with the movements. the instructor saw her and encouraged her to try it out. she had heaps of fun and asked her parents to let her take dance class as well with much pleading towards her mom since her dad wants what his daughter wants. so since she was 6, she started taking taekwondo lessons. she joined several competitions and she won three after earning her black belt years later. she still focused on her piano, because her mom wanted her to at least learn the piano to contrast with her taekwondo. when she was 8, her parents got divorced, reason still unknown to the siblings and her dad won custody over the two siblings because he a high paying job, her mother was only a housewife. it affected her relationship with her dad, but he reasoned out that he'll explain once they get older. academic wise, she does really well in school being an all a student with an average gpa of 3.21. her family was also active members of the church as well as its choir. she's a pretty good singer and enjoyed singing as well.

in late december 2011, her family visited korea for the new years. they were planned to stay there for about a month and stayed at her auntie's house, sister of her father. sometime in january 2012, she and her brother were at a cafe. she was eating pasta and had a huge bite of it when a man approached their table. from surpise, she choked on the pasta and drank the iced americano (even though it's still the cold season lol). once she calmed down, she turned to the man. he apologized to her for startling her and ardene told him it was okay. he explained why he was there and told her he was a jyp scouting manager and wants to scout her. she and her brother looked at each other in surprise. her brother explained that they're only staying in korea temporarily and will leave soon. the man told them he would wait for her decision until their departure. he gave her his calling card and bowed before leaving. she explained everything to her dad, her auntie, uncle and cousin was also there. her cousin's family encouraged her to take the risk since it's a really rare opportunity. they also reasoned out that she's a pretty decent singer. her dad also told her that if she wanted to, he and her brother will support her. so after a few days of contemplating, she called the jyp scout and told him she accepts his offer. he scheduled a private audition. she auditioned in front of jyp himself and some other executives. she sang for her audition and did a special talent which is taekwondo. jyp commented that she has a good voice that needs a lot of work. he also told her she has the charm and the presence plus her visuals too. jyp accepted her as a trainee then.

after a few years of non-blooming progress, she decided to leave jyp and recieved a love call from galaxy entertainment. not wanting to give up her newfound dream, she accepted.

"well why didn't you tell me you bloke." felix laughed at her. "i wanted to suprise you is all." felix calmed down and opened up his arms. ardene smiled warmly before wrapping her arms around felix. "missed you so bloody much lixie." ardene said through felix's chest. "missed you too arie." when they parted. ardene scanned felix. "how the bloody hell did you grow so fast. you were just this small last time i saw you." she put up to her eye level. "puberty." felix said amused at ardene's reaction. "puberty my rump. you're still a baby in my eyes lixie." she said as she ruffled his hair.

even though they're from different companies, they usually go eat together and ardene showed him around. she also helped him in his korean, though she wasn't a very good teacher since she also has a hard time in korean. she also trained with him in dancing. when they aren't training, they would go out and catch up with each other. felix would share his burdens and ardene would help him with encouraging words and advises. since their families are not in korea, they stick to each other a lot. 

felix often calls her to recieve strength and energy. when ardene told him she'll be debuting in the year 2016, felix supported her and before the day of her debut performance, they met up and felix treated ardene to whatever she wanted. and they ended the night by the han river, eating ice cream.

Ending: ardene still won't take felix's efforts seriously but will realize that she's actually attracted to him as well but she told felix that she chose to focus on her career first and he should too. she also wanted to wait until they achieved their dream and when felix becomes an official adult in korea so that's after two years from now. but for now their relationship is: felix attempting to make ardene see him as a man and ardene still baby-ing him which irritates him a lot. will be dating in a few years from 2017.
