Cassius is a very indimidating figure. He's very tall, very muscular, and looks like he could crush a person with his pinky. He walks with the air of a royal, his posture confident and his steps sure. His skin is a perfect golden colour that one gets from spending most of their life in the sun. He has beautiful blue eyes that always seem to sparkle with mischief. He keeps his hair long, and it falls in sun kissed waves to just past his collar bone. He also has a beard that he keeps trimmed. Cassius' torso is completely covered in tattoos, a symbol of his status and prowess in battle in Atlantis.

Cassius is the oldest son of King Hadrian and Queen Valeria of Atlantis. As first born and heir to the throne of Atlantis, his birth was very important and was thus celebrated throughout all the territories of Atlantis. Cassius' life has been filled with training since he was old enough to understand the importance of his role. He had to learn things like history, politics, traditional ceremonies as well as different styles of fighting and how to control his powers. Cassius spent much of his life in lessons like these, but they were necessary as his parents reminded him, as he will have jurisdiction over all Atlantians in the Atlantis territories along with a large number of allied sea creatures. Cassius' brothers were also subjected to these lessons as well, as even though they were not going to take the throne one day, they were still princes of Atlantis and therefore needed to have the same knowledge. Cassius also had lessons about normal things that were taught in school, but instead of going to a school with all the other Atlantians his age, he was taught in the palace by a private tutor. Cassius really didn't have much time to mix with children outside of his brothers growing up in Atlantis, but he did manage to make a few friends outside of his family, like the children of the staff working at the palace. Hadrian and Valeria were (and still are) very big on accomodating their staff's families and also treating them well and paying them decently. The king and queen of Atlantis are much loved by their subjects, and accordingly the 4 princes are loved too. Cassius wants to live up to his parents when he rules, and he has made sure to throw himself into his study as well as attend his father's council meeting and pay close attention to them. Cassius' free time really came when he moved onto land when he was 23. It is quite common for Atlantians to spend part of their youth on land, experiencing life above water and learning about humans. Cassius and his brothers own a nice beach front house on the Greek Island of Santorini. He's spent most of his time above water for the last 3 years, spending some quality time with his brothers, and interacting with humans.

I was born with these powers. In fact, many of my powers are quite common amongst Atlantians. My bloodline however does give me an advantage in that I am more powerful than Atlantians outside of the royal family. Even then, through my years of training I am now only outmatched by my father.
just what you are you?.
I am an Atlantian. Specifically I am crown prince of Atlantis. Our natural forms are more recognisable to humans by the title merman or mermaid. However most of us take offence to that descriptor, as we are neither mosters from legen nor magical characters from children's stories.
Capabilities.
I have the ability to swim extremely fast in my natural form, although as Julius will always remind me he is faster. i, along with all other Atlantians can communicate with sea creatures, although as I am of the royal bloodline I can communicate with them much more easily. Which comes in handy when renegotiating treaties and so forth. I have found being on land that I can also communcate with the creatures who live up here. Speaking of which, I have the ability to change between my natural form and my human form at will. Also when I am on land I have control over water. I still have this control in my natural form, but as the ocean is it's own master I tend to have less control there.

In his natural form Cassius wears only his circlet, and his gauntlets. His arms, hands, neck and torso are completely covered in tattoos (these tattoos are sort of a coming of age thing, every Atlantian over the age of 18 has them, all in different designs of course). Cassius' tail is orange and red in his natural form. He is usually armed with his trident as well. In his human form Cassius wears his circlet, a sleveless chest armour, gauntlets, black military pants and combat boots. His tattooes remain in his human form as well. Cassius is also usually armed with his trident in his human form. (a pinterest board for Cassius too)

Besides his natural powers, Cassius is also extremely well trained in many forms of hand to hand combat and also combat with his trident. He has spent his life being trained by his parents and also a few of the high ranking generals from the Atlantian army.

Even though a lot of Cassius' powers come from him simply being Atlantian, and that most other Atlantians can dow hat he can, he is of the royal bloodline, which makes his powers much much more powerful than Atlantians who are not of the royal bloodline.
