appearance.  Carina looks nothing like an australian except for her eyes that are light blue in colour. Her hair is naturally black but was dyed blonde and it has stuck like that ever since Carina enrolled in high school. It is long and stops directky on her lower back. She has pale, milky skin that is pimple free, only having some blackheads on her nose. She looks like a basic korean girl, her height however begs the differ. Carina grew super tall, standing at a height of 175cm and weighing lightly at 54kg. She has abs, a curvy body and long legs that stands out in a crowd. What makes her stand out most are her tattoos as well as her piercings. Although only 20 years old, Carina have gone under the needle more than 20 times and most of them are for her tattoos. Although tattoos are known to be taboos in korea, Carina never cared and went ahead to tattoo herself where no one can see. Carina also has lots of piercings, from her earlobe to her helix to her cartilage and even her tongue is pierced.

Carina is the defition of emo when it comes to her closet. She actually grew up listening to bands such as My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco and All Time Low, of course it would lead to Carina being influenced by them. Her room is filled with band merch and clothes that relate to those bands. She even uses dark makeup just like them. What kind of clothes are these? It usually consists of Black band shirts, black crop tops, black ripped jeans (she has like millions of these, she can't count), Black hoodies, black jackets, flannels, black sneakers and black heels. Carina can never wear clothes that are of different colour since she finds it highly disturbing. Her makeup are usually emo styled minus the black eyeshadow. Carina also always wears sneakers and can never wear heels since she already has a tall structure but ever since she stepped foot in korea, she toned down on the band shirts and emo style. She now follows the korean style slightly but adds in her own emo taste

At first glance, everyone thinks that Carina is a spoiled and snobby brat due to her being raised in a wealthy family. Well, that's everyone's first impression, though, she was never snobby nor arrogant. Carina is someone who work hard to own and deserve something. She is very determined and giving up is never in her dictionary. She believes that everything is possible and nothing is impossible. Carina too have talents that wow people. She has a certain charm that makes her unique in her own way and style. One might think that Carina is someone who doesn't care about her own stuff or others. Well, they're wrong, Carina is very well organised and does her work without complaining despite the fact that she has other things to do. She is very responsible and hates leaving work undone, in fact, she is the only one who bothers cleaning up the dorm. With an IQ of 150, Carina is basically a human encyclopedia. She simply knows answers to a lot of things despite only going to school for up until she is 20. She aced nearly all her exams during high school and was always top 5 in the whole cohort. Due to her intelligence, Carina is quick-witted. She can answer and even solve a question in a fast period of time. She even can solve a rubiks cube within a minute and a half. Well, another first impression of her, is someone who gets scared and threatened easily. Well, No she isn't one of those . In fact, being a strong leader, Carina is very brave. She takes up whatever challenges even if she hates it. She would do anything which includes bungee jumping when she have Acrophobia just for her groupmates. She isn't one to turn down a good challenge.

Well, Carina is also very very very [see what i did there xD] clean. Her room is always clean. Like dust free. She's very neat and can't stand the sight of messiness. She could vomit blood if she sees a messy room and would cry if she sees that. Carina is quite flexible. She can do many gymnastic tricks such as an aerial, cartwheel, bridge and even a front aerial. Carina can never lie. Even with a blunt personality, of course she can't lie, but no, Carina hates lying and is very faithful. She hates cheating and would always come out clean. At first, some people might think Carina is a cold person. With her badass look, they might even think that Carina hates or can't stand being around people, but of course, never judge a book by it's cover. Carina is a friendly girl, but that is only to people who acknowledges her presence. If you don't acknowledge or personally start a conversation with her, she would ignore you and act as if you're not there, but if you acknowledge her, she would be smiling and talking with you like she had been friends with you for years. With her determination, Carina is a passionate girl. She would put her all into something if she can't succeed. Of course that's how people usually think she is a leader, because she can be so positive over a situation and would put her full attention to it.

Apart from the good side, Carina have quite a number of bad sides. She tends to speak out of her mind. Due to her being intelligent, she blurts out irrelevant words that could hurt others. Many hate this trait of hers, seeing as her comments are not very nice and welcoming. Insead, it's something very offensive and hurtful. The other thing is that Carina can never control her certain temper. She gets pissed off easily, especially on her time of month. Carina would always burst out, hitting things that are very close to her, glaring at those who pissed her off and cussing to them like there is no tomorrow. It gets worse once she turns ill. she would cuss, even when the manager is present. Carina once tried fixing her temper but to no avail, so people would have to live with her temper. Of course, with a temper comes the consequences. Carina is very aggressive. She can break whatever she holds onto or touches. She can be called the goddess of destruction and stand beside Rap Monster. She tends to handle things with roughness which results the item to break. Get ready for Carina's whines. Carina can never wait for anyone. She hates waiting that she can leave you if you're late for even a minute. Though she is sometimes forced to wait, she would start whining and scolding the person who was late, saying that she was '2 seconds' from leaving them behind. Carina can nag without hurting . once she sees something out of order, there goes the speaker. She would talk and talk to her members without stopping. Her nags are one thing to be careful about as once she talks, she'll never shut it. Full of sentences to burn people, Carina is one sarcastic person. She knows how to have fun, but sometimes it's too much fun and that annoys people. Never take her words seriously, especially her sarcasm. People tend to seek her approval if they want to do something that involves her (Similarly to Yoongi) and she always gets it her way.

Carina wasn't born a happy child. She however, had an irresponsible father who left her right after she was born. Her mother, who was only 17 at that time did not know what to do since she was still a minor but was holding a child. Her mother was also abandoned and disowned by her own family for being a disgrace to them, so she had no one who could help her. Fortunately, Carina's mother never took drugs. She knew better and promised to raise her daughter with nothing but love.

Sadly, 11 years later, Carina's mother passed away thanks to cancer. She did left a note for Carina, apologising for every time life was hard for the both of them. She even told Carina to call the number written on the note if she wanted a family, to which she did. She came to find out that her father was long gone and that the number belonged to her father's sister. She picked her up and signed custody as well as adoption over Carina, making her the adopted daughter of Anne Marie Irwin.

When she reached the house, she realised that she had an adopted older brother who helped her with everything. Thanks to him, she got to know music as well as kpop. She became a whole new person, from the small, introverted girl to the crazy, out-going fangirl. She would try and belt out high notes (Which is a fail) and try rap as fast as she could to the songs on the radios. She also got to play the drums thanks to her adopted brother/cousin since he took drum lessons.

At the age of 15, was when Carina decided to do something that never crossed her parent's minds. She auditioned for SM Entertainment. SM Entertainment had a global audition which Carina couldn't pass up the opportunity so she sneakily audition, thinking that she would never ever pass but she did. This shocked not only her aunt but also her cousin who were against the idea. She was only 15 what did you expect, but knowing Carina, she was stubborn to even listen to them. Due to their disapproval, Carina pretty much never spoke to them. Once school ended, she would avoid her cousin when he tries to start a conversation during their walk home from and to school. Carina would give her aunt short one word answers when she was asked about things by her aunt. She basically gave them the cold shoulder and both her aunt and cousin couldn't do anything but finally say yes to her going to Korea. I mean, they didn't want to disappoint the kid. Although Carina knew she was being a spoiled brat, but could you blame her? Her dream was right in front of her, yet she was told that she couldn't go because of her age. She did feel guilty for doing those things to her family but she would do anything to achieve her dreams. In the end she went but she was given a full lecture on how to live on her own and how not to talk to strangers.

3 years later, Carina realised that she had no hope in SM, especially after being pulled out of the line up of Red Velvet, where she would be joining along with Yeri. She was disappointed and felt neglected, which resulted to her departure. Of course, being only 18, Carina had to balance school and part time jobs since she needed money to pay off her bills and for her to have a life. She thought she was done rapping but that wasn't even close to the ending. It was only her beginning. Year 2015 was when she came upon Starship. With little hope, Carina decided to audition, hoping that luck was on her side and it was. She was accepted and she soon began her training under Starship.

When the two first met, they knew they would get along. With Carina's strong personality where she can get super annoyed and Ashton's talkative nature, the two clicked instantly. Sometimes, Carina often thought about whether she was the older one or Ashon was since he was certainly very childish (not as childish as Michael but childish). He often trips on air and can drop something that can be gripped properly. Although they are miles apart, the two still manage to skype and talk almost everyday, just updating each other on their current life.

The two met when Carina returned to Australia for a vacation in 2015. At that time, she got to know that Ashton finally made his debut with his friends and have released quite a few songs that became her jam in an instant. At first, when the two made eye contact, there was nothing but awkward tension. Since both of them didn't know what to say. Luke being quite an introvert was super awkward and would stutter when Carina asks him something but soon 2 years later, things became better as the two are now the close of friends since they're close with age. Carina can rely on Luke whenever Ashton's not around.

This egoistic maniac is Carina's 2nd most loved best friend behind Luke. What makes them best friends? Well, Carina's sarcastic remarks would always hurt his pride. Which is what Calum is known for. Of course, Calum would always have a way to burn Carina, but they would always end up laughing their butts off. Calum loves Carina like a younger sister, although he doesn't really show it. wondering how they met? Well, they met through school. Both Calum and Carina attended the same school, which was weird but Carina left before she could even finish. He is also part of 5SOS, thus how she met this annoying dumbhole. Of course, Carina loves him a lot like a brother. They sometimes skype each other as well. Their conversation would always be weird and sassy. It's full of sarcasm and insults that are offensive in a way but that's how Calum and Carina are.

Similar to Calum, Michael is just her best friend. I mean, she grew up with him. Carina and Michael were the prank duo back when Carina was still studying in Australia. They met way before 5SOS was formed. The two went to the same elementary school and was best friends before being separated as Carina had to move. Michael loves Carina just like she is his baby sister. Which is what he always wanted but him being the only child didn't experienced it, but having Carina, he can be protective and just be himself. He has never seen Carina more than a sister or as a friend. They do skype quite often. Michael would always while they are skyping though, which makes Carina have her sass on.

The two met when Carina was still a trainee under SM. She saw Yerim as someone who was adorable but sassy at the same time and often gang up to prank on other people. Their favourite target is Joy, where they often burn her with sentences until she can't even talk back. The two are quite close and Carina treats Yerim as though she's her sister and takes care of her a lot Aka babies her.

Carina's SM English speaking squad. This squad consist of the english speakers of some groups and they all happen to be close. However, only Carina has an accent while 3 out of the 8 are from Canada. Carina would turn to them whenever she has the urge to talk in english but she is closest to Johnny since she started training when he started. Johnny favours her a lot and loves her a lot and tends to spoil her with so much care. They still meet up to catch up with their lives but not so often since they're all from the same agency except Carina. Carina met Amber through Wendy who was at that time with Amber when Carina asked for a hangout. They eventually got closer due to their 'boyish' charms. That's how Carina met Krystal and Henry. Henry being the close friend of Amber, Carina sees him everytime she hangs out with Amber with him always saying "Yo Amber, what's up". Krystal was a tough one for Carina to befriend since she has a cold persona. However, Carina managed to crack a smile on her face with her sarcasm towards Amber, which was how they became friends.

Carina trained a total of 5 years and still counting. When she first started under SM, it was obviously very hard. She was deemed to be overweight for the agency and was told to lose a total of 10kg when in reality she was already 53kg at the age of 15. Although she never achieved the weight loss, she was told that her rapping needs major polishing as well as her vocals and dance. They never went easy on Carina since they wanted her to show her potential. Rumours about SM being a place where satan lives was true. She would return to her dorm with aches all over her body and a throat that was super sore that she could damage her vocal chords but didn't.

When she was placed into the lineup of Red Velvet, she was elated but it soon ended when she was pulled out. The CEO's reason was that she wasn't ready, which slightly pissed her off. Therefore, it led to her departure. She felt that she was to be kept in the dungeon for a lot longer than she expected since Johnny had not debuted as well as trainees who have trained longer than her. When she returned to her rented apartment, she took up multiple part time jobs just to earn a living but at the same time working her in school. It totally stressed Carina but she pushed through it.

While working one day, she came upon Starship Entertainment, who was holding out auditions. Knowing that she had some rap left in her, Carina auditioned, thinking that it would be impossible for her to be accepted. I mean, SM ed up her rap style for good and made it worse and out of her comfort zone. However, to her surprise, she was accepted and therefore started training. While under Starship, although it wasn't as easy but it also wasn't as tough as SM. She wasn't deemed as fat but she was told that she was at the acceptable range. They even told her to put on more weight since she looked unhealthy. They gave her good rap lessons which led to her raps improving. 2 years passed and soon Carina was told to take part in Coalesce, where a group of trainees with different ethnicity join together despite being in a different company.

What does the word 'Coalesce' mean to you? They mean the world to me. Other ethnicities, nationality, blood. They come together to create something better than ordinary

What makes you different compared to the other 6 girls? Everyone is different. they have their own charm and talent. I'm not sure on how to answer this question...

How do you feel about Coalese being a one year group? I honestly feel sad. I mean, what if the group had a sister kind of bond but had to end it because of a contract? Plus, if we had fans, it'll be hard for them because they would never see us perform as a whole group after a year.

With Coalese being a multi-race group in the korean music industry, do you think you have thick enough skin to deal with the critism you will recieve? I think people would have to go through my critism first before critising me *Chuckles* I'm kidding... Hate is just a another step to success, take taylor swift as an example. She made a song to retaliate the hates she recieved, which proves that people can go through the hate given to them.

This goes along with the ious question, Is there anything you are not looking forward to while being in this project group? You really want me to be honest? Okay, I'm literally not looking forward to any drama. I mean, we just met and voila, we're in a group together. That can stir up so many drama, especially if there are stuck up trainees.

And lastly, do you have any goals you want to achieve with the group or is there anything you want to achieve on your own? I have a lot of goals for both the group and me, but I mainly focus on wanting to prove myself to everyone that I'm only here because I worked hard, not because I have a brother who's famous.
