appearance.  Elodie is a girl who has a petite body but a tall stature. She stands at 171 cm and weighs only around 48 kg total. Her skin is quite fair, mostly due to her mixed genes. Though she is known to be a bit darker during the hotter seasons. Elodie has long dark brunette hair, her natural hair color, that reaches past her chest. She has a middle part, with light chocolate brown eyes that sometimes shimmer with a bit of gold in them whenever the light catches them. Elodie has no scars or birthmarks, only sporting a few moles on her body due to sun exposure as a child. The last detail of her appearance is that Elodie has both of ears pierced twice on each ear lobe. As for Elodie's fashion style, it's best described as youthful, which is fitting for her young age.

Unlike most seventeen year olds, Elodie is very calm in personality. Her overall presence is usually quite laidback and she isn't someone to come across as highstrung. Elodie doesn't "freak out" over anything, like ever. She's very tough when it comes to stress and how it affects, always being one to prevail in times of pressure. Likely due to her calm nature, Elodie is also quite gentle. She isn't someone who's rough with other people. Rather, she is very delicate and soft with how she treats others. Elodie isn't really one to come across as rude or mean, she is usually very tender and benevolent with her mannerisms at all times. Elodie, unlike some youth, is extremely intelligent. She could also be described as being wise, though it's mostly that she's more mature for her age than most seventeen years old. Elodie has more "adult" things to worry about than throwing a tantrum like a child, it's just not who she is. She always uses her mind over matter, making sure to make the best decisions in every situation she comes across in life.

As she is quite laidback, Elodie often comes across as bland to most people. She's just not really that interesting in her and the majority's opinions. Other than the fact that's she mixed, which does make others look at her especially in South Korea, there's just nothing too interesting about Elodie. She's kind of a stick-in-the-mud, someone who plays by the rules so much that even the rules sometimes get sick of her. Unlike other teens, Elodie isn't the type to put everything out there. She's very reserved and often keeps to herself, choosing to be private about most personal matters. Often times, Elodie doesn't quite get the whole appeal of social media and the sharing of personal information. Like why do you need to let people know that you just ate some toast? Elodie will never understand. The most shocking thing about Elodie's age is one thing: the fact that she's actually a quiet person. While this may seem like a blessing to most people, it can get kind of annoying at times. Due to her silent nature, Elodie can be hard to communicate with. The prospect of her making friends is quite difficult considering that you have to get her to actually talk in order for anything to proceed with her.

Elodie Madeleine Dupont was born on August 15th, 2000 in Saint-Tropez, France to Leon and Yoonjin Dupont. She grew up as the oldest child of two, having a younger sister named Manon Emma Dupont was born on September 21st, 2010 herself. Growing up, Elodie always had an equal love for both sides of her culture. She loved her French side of her culture, and all of the food that came along with it (lol), but she also loved her Korean side and all of the media and pop culture that came along with it. She grew up listening to groups like Girls' Generation, f(x), CNBlue, you name it. Elodie loved all of the music she heard from South Korea, always having a soft spot for it despite her serious persona. Due to her love of music, Elodie was taught different instruments from a young age. She was taken to music lessons almost everyday, where she even learned to compose music as well. Along with composing, Elodie even started writing her own lyrics. She had always enjoyed writing and literature, so making music was like a hobby for her.

In order to broaden her reach, Elodie's mother helped her create a YouTube channel to upload her music onto. The only request her mother had was for her to hide her face, for safety purposes. Elodie complied and wore a face mask to cover the lower half of her face. Much to her surprise, Elodie's channel became modestly popular despite her only being fourteen years old. And by the time Elodie was fifteen, she was receiving casting calls from different music companies. Some were local to France while some were from South Korea. Out of all of them, only one agency really caught Elodie's eye. FNC Entertainment, a company that produced idol bands, like actual bands that play instruments. This really intrigued Elodie and it was one of the only company's that offered her to join as a trainee without even auditioning. Though her parent's were reluctant at first, Elodie was given permission to move to South Korea in pursuit of her dreams. She ending up moving in with her Aunt Yoonmi, the older sister to her mother, who was currently living in Seoul. Enrolling at a local foreign high school, Elodie began training under FNC. It was only two years later that Elodie was offered a chance to be in a global project formed by Mnet to find a group made up completely of different people from all over the world. Intrigued by this, Elodie accepted the offer and began her journey to join the new girl group.

Surprisingly enough, Elodie was actually able to get along with her Aunt Yoonmi quite quickly. Though the two had different mindsets due to their living in different countries, they were able to find a common middle ground together. Aunt Yoonmi acts almost like a second mother to Elodie, always looking after the young girl despite how independent the seventeen year old is. Elodie is very grateful for her Aunt and she's certainly someone she cherishes greatly.

— Moving to a whole new country is scary and it certainly was for Elodie truth be told. Though she knew she'd be able to adjust well, Elodie was prepared to experience certain aspects of life in South Korea. At her agency, other trainees sort of avoided her. Whether this was prejudice or not, it didn't fail to bother Elodie. Most were discreet with their feelings towards Elodie, choosing to avoid or ignore the girl. However, few were bold and openly made a spectacle out of Elodie. Their harsh words and actions made Elodie begin to regret coming to South Korea alltogether. However, with help from a new friend, the rude trainees backed off and all was calm again for Elodie. Thanks to her friend, Elodie began focusing on her training at hand. The vocal, dance, and rap lessons were definitely difficult. Vocal was easier than rap, as Elodie wasn't really a rapper at all. Dancing was probably the hardest as Elodie had never tried to actual "dance" before now. However, within a year and a half, Elodie has shown major improvements in all of her three main training aspects.

   Just a few questions

What does the word 'Coalesce' mean to you? Thinking deeply for a moment, "To me, Coalesce is a potential future. It's somewhat of a golden opportunity in a sense."

What makes you different compared to the other 6 girls? "Well, I'm not really special in any sort of way. However, my instrument and composing skills may set me apart from the others." Elodie modestly nods her head, agreeing with her own answer.

How do you feel about Coalese being a one year group? "Well, it's both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it means finally debuting, but a curse because it's only temporary. I'd like to think more of it being the former rather than latter." A light sigh escaped Elodie's mouth, though it was barely audible for anyone to hear.

With Coalese being a multi-race group in the korean music industry, do you think you have thick enough skin to deal with the critism you will recieve? Without any real hesitation, "I think we will be fine. I've dealt with discrimination because of being mixed almost my whole life, I'd like to believe we are all stronger than some little hate." A small smile comes across Elodie's face.

This goes along with the ious question, Is there anything you are not looking forward to while being in this project group? "Any arguments, I'm not really one for conflict." Elodie sighs again, this time it being audible. All she can think is that she'd just stay on the sidelines if any fighting occurs, just standing there to watch the chaos unfold.

And lastly, do you have any goals you want to achieve with the group or is there anything you want to achieve on your own? Elodie's smile comes back, "I'd love to see the group achieve first place, that would absolutely stunning. As for personal achievements, I'd like to see one of my songs get used by a popular group." She looks down, a hopeful look in her eyes.
