YIFEON a play on the pokemon leafeaon's name. the lea in leafeon sounds like lee in korean, and 'yi' from her name is basically lee, so, yifeon. it sounds weird now, but it totally made sense in 7th grade. + her friends started calling her this because they jokingly said, "if we were pokemons, what would you be??" and she just happened to answer leafeon because it's a grass type and she's a vegetarian...again, it made more sense when they were in 7th grade.

SO WHO IS @YIFEON?

meet han myungyi, or better known in the gaming community as @yifeon. she suffers from a lifelong disease of rbf, thus being marked as a 'bxtch' by nearly everyone who walks past her. but there's way more to that. naming her a bxtch for looking like a bxtch is like judging a book by its cover (god i hate that meme). she grew up as a rather soft spoken person and can blend in the crowd well. she's an altruistic person, willing to give way for others rather than satisfy her own needs. she's dedicated to whatever she may be doing, always making sure to give it her all, and in general, is just a friendly person.

but if you look closer to reality, you may notice some of myungyi's down sides. she's a cowardly cat, always looking for the easier way out. her biggest fear? growing up. fun fact - she got into glory because its a nice escape from the pressure of having to go to college soon. she's a closed book, learning to keep to herself rather than share her stories (with the exeption of her best friend, of course), and rarely wants to worry anyone with her issues.

so in short : myungyi's a shy baby that doesn't want to grow up yet

having been born and raised in seoul, myungyi's just your typical highschool senior. busy with sat's and college prep, she's only barely getting by the stress through playing glory. since college could get very expensive, her parents suggested to take up a part time job, and in comes jiseon, her pushy best friend, stating that mr kim, a loyal customer of her family business is looking to hire, and tada! myungyi applied to be a worker taking the night shift, after school and independent studies!

still currently living with her parents, a highschool senior so she's a lil busy. applied to work at the cafe to raise some money for college and support herself a little. current concern : she's growing up too fast.

myungyi's cursed crush. as far as she knows, its one sided, but lets see??? anyways, imagine this : ur annoyingly cute next door neighbor you've had a crush on since 6th grade glo'd up over the summer and has groups of girls swarming him left and right. welcome to, myungyi's problem.

other than the usual, "hello" and family hangouts, they arent the closest bunch. sure, they talk at school and have a few inside jokes here and there, but yah, myungyi fears shes not as relevant to jeno as he is in her life.

the two were brought closer when her mom asked jeno for a small favor : "can you walk my daughter home from work?" since hes a #gamenerd like myung, he often visits sappinca to play glory after basketball practice and doing hw/studying, and more often than not, comes home a little late. so, myung's over protective mother asked him to walk her home whenever he's staying out late.

it started of awkward because wow?? 'my crush?? walking me home from work?? can life get any better?' - myungyi. but as time flew by, both got to genuinely enjoy their small trip and grew closer due to glory and small talks about their future and some of the fears they have abt growing up and going to college.

future relationship : jeno ends up liking her back but myungyi's sad since its their senior year and hes planning on entering snu as a dance major and her parents made plans for her to study pre-med at yonsei. so, he asks her out a few months prior to school ending, but he was like, "so i know you're gonna be busy with preparing for yonsei and this is probably the dumbest thing i could ever do/say, but can i be your boyfriend?? god that souded cringy im sorry - but we have the rest of the school year and summer to claim our youth! wanna do it together??" and tadah!! they're dating-ish(? shes a lil shy)

i imagine a lot of tears during their graduation, (actually basing their relationship off of 'goodbye summer' by fx & d.o)

in terms of actual interactions, here's a list :
- walking to and from school/sappinca
- jeno's a gentlemen and chivalrous, so cute things like, 'holding the umbrella for ur girl', winning her a teddy bear at a carnival, and those things you find in romantic movies, hes gonna do em all
- hes a bball player in the varsity highschool team, so hes basically borderling the athletic-nerd LMAO

her older brother (or is he??) that acts like a five year old. really, his mental age is way too low for a kid of legal age. he still currently resides with her and their parents, attending a community college and basically being a nerd.

he usually comes in the cafe to play games without being yelled at by the 'rents, or to simply just bother his lovely sister! although, he still is as college student, you'll only find him loitering the cafe in weekends, or days he doesn't have classes.

+ tends to come in at night to pick up myungyi if jeno's not available ; their mom is really protective ;;;

TACHI a weapon with a high magic attack, its myungyi's usual weapon when playing the game. it has a lower physical attack, but has a high attack speed that attracted myung's attention

COLLAPSING MOUNTAIN  a skill that allows the user to create a shockwave by slamming the ground. being a berserker, it comes with a super armor status.

BLOOD AWAKENING  a skill that correlates health and strength. i.e, having high health helps you have higher strength.

BLOOD ARROW  a skill that allows the user to shoot out blood arrows to a targert.

CRIMSON STORM  allows the user to cause great damage, but takes a long time to initiate. activated by hitting the sword on the ground and causing an explosion.

ENRAGE  a skill that allows the user to have 'berserker' powers. enhances strength, attack and movement speed, and status resistant for 20 seconds. also one of myungyi's go to skills.

OTHER(S)

LEVEL 189 since the game isn't really myungyi's number 1 priority, with finals and senior things she has to look to, she can't play as much as she wishes. it's still a high level, for sure.

AVATAR myungyi's "alter-ego" that totally doesn't seem to obvious (it is, u can tell its her). with long blonde hair, tall height, and revealing armor, it's everything myung ever fangirls about. (see also : a cross of asuna from soa and erza [robe of yuen armor] from fairy tail).

YIFEON basically her real life nickname. she thought it was a good idea, but now its kinda not?? anyways shes too lazy to change it.

EXPERIENCE WITH GLORY myungyi first discovered glory in the summer prior to her last year of highschool. she fell in love with the whole gaming aspect and continued playing to this day. she's a loyal berserker, and is still learning more about the game.
