eun used to be a follower, one who naturally copies the way others act to fit in. however after years of being under the care of the queenka, she learnt to become her own person. she was a much more confident person who enjoyed trying out new things instead of staying in her comfort zone all the time. because of this, she can actually be pretty laidback if she wanted to but she'll be the first to suggest a novel idea. despite being a queenka lackey, she never threw away her passion for animals. even if she was mean and rude to the rest of the world, animals were her main priority. they were her vitamin and kept her optimistic about life. she knew she wanted to help these animals as much as she can, especially the injured and sick. so, using her brains, she studied hard and paved her route to being a vet.
despite her confident and commanding aura, she is still the insecure bean she was before she built a wall around her real personality. however, she never let anyone see this side of her, not even her brothers except her boyfriend taecyeon and eventually jihun. to hide this, she used her tongue as a weapon, easily insulting or teasing anyone who tried to insult her in any way. eun was also extremely stubborn since she was used to things almost always going her way so she's not the type to easily back down from a fight even if she was in the wrong. because of these traits, she may come off as the typical who is unpleasant to be with but when you get used to her defence mechanism and put all the stubbornness aside, eun was actually a strong girl who is simply scared to trust people.

LIFESTYLE : saying eun is living a happy life would be a lie but so is saying that her life is horrible. she was in the middle, sometimes she had her highs, feeling liberated from the scrutiny of her parents and brothers as well as being able to live with the loves of her lives, her pets. but then there were the downsides as well like living alone with someone who always had a stick up his and actually having to think about money matters like bills. but then again she was eun, a person who can never be satisfied with anything normal, she was one to take up the challenge of feeding sharks rather than staying at home listening to hun's complaints about girl scratching up the couch and boy chewing on his shoes.
call her crazy but she actually loves restaurant hopping in her free time, trying out different shops to find the perfect budae jiggae or even the best hotteok in seoul; picture hun rolling his eyes every time she gives a detailed review of the dishes because he knew her favourites were always of his cooking. sometimes they went to the shelter instead, simply to clean the area, play with the pets and give free health checkups to the animals. if they were lazy to go out, sometimes they would simply watch netflix and chill or eun would be busy in the kitchen baking. if hun was the king of cooking, she was the queen of baking. she may be outgoing and restless but she still did the housework well, ensuring that the house was spotless, visitors or no visitors.
people who looked at the couple would probably think that eun was those wives who simply sat around and bask in the money of their husband but she was more than that. eun helped to contribute to the household income, buying the groceries whenever they needed to stock up without asking hun for money. she only asked when she needed to shop at garosugil but let's just keep that a secret heh. basically, she was more of a responsible independent roommate than a dope wife,

go by "hun appa and omonim". hun appa was almost an exact copy of eun's father which was what made them bestfriends in the first place. he was always cracking jokes (they were actually funny), starting conversations and provided eun the fatherly comfort needed during family gatherings, imagine playing scrabble alone after dinner just because hun appa wanted to spend time together with his daughter-in-law. omonim was more on the quiet side, only talking when she needed to. she was sweet, making sure eun was comfortable and that the couple was always on good terms. however, she was traditionally strict, constantly reminding eun to close her legs when she sat down, to offer jihun the food first before taking her own share, to change the position of their furniture for a better feng shui, you get it. founders of fusionistic - a korean restaurant selling fusion food which is famous in korea and even in some parts of japan.

goes by oppa. the overprotecive one. the heir to biopolis who seems like he has a stick up his all the time. but actually more of the appa of the three siblings. his nagging is never ending, one time it will be about leaving the dog on the couch and another it would be about not switching off the fan to save electricity. argues for dominance with heechul a lot but extremely doting towards eun, even giving her a whistle when she was 13.
goes by chul oppa: the underprotective one. the famous kpop star who got rumoured to have been confused about his own gender. the source of eun's embarrassment and frustration despite the amount of love he dumps on her. heechul was the one who came to the housewarming party with a basketful of toys and condoms to wish them a 'happy marriage'. encourages her to try out everything new: underage drinking, skydiving and even r-21 movies when she was 15.

goes by jin unnie. a model from ygk+ who graduated from seoul university with a psychology 1st class honors degree. eun tries to avoid jin unnie as much as possible because all jinah does is stare at her and smirk, eun takes it offensively as though jinah is mocking her. if they were in close proximity, jinah would simply continue using her phone or swirl the wineglass but adding a scary reminder out of nowhere like "make sure jihun's happy" before leaving.

the classic weirdo and the classic prince charming that's what eun calls them. jiwon might have hated eun at first but eunwoo liked her and jihun likes jiwon since she was his ideal type so basically the two wives were bounded together by their husbands. but all is well as eun and jiwon ended up clicking really fast since jiwon was high and eun was bimbotic, put these two girls together and you'll get a duo that will do anything fun and adventurous without any regard for the law. jihun and eunwoo also clicked really well since they had similar awkward yet soft personalities. their first meeting was kinda awkward and tense.
"eun, why did you leave the door open? eun, boy is waiting and why is ddoong meowing so much. yah, eunwoo! kim. eun. woo!"
jihun was actually irritated with how the door was open so widely aka anyone can come in and see him in his boxers and spongebob shirt. but he stood frozen when eunwoo appeared at the door with a confused expression.
"i'm sorry, did you call for me?" "eh?"
jihun didn't know why this weirdo was in front of his house claming to be called by him when all he did was shout his wife's name. eun eventually came out with the leash she accidentally left inside the pet room. she was supposed to walk boy and find girl who was missing since afternoon and ddoong couldn't stop meowing about his missing girlfriend. the thought of apologising flew out the window as she saw a handsome guy in front of her house.
"hi, i'm eunwoo. and who are you?"
"i'm also eunwoo. cha eunwoo."
the both of them blinked as they stared at each other, trying to process this information.
"um yeah and i'm his wife." jiwon appeared behind eunwoo due to the commontion. eun knew not to mess with a jealous female, especially a jealous wife so she laughed everything off, dissipating the tension.
"we've never actually met even though we live next to each other! but let's have dinner together tomorrow!"
eun's statement made jihun scoff since he was the one who had to cook. jiwon raised an eyebrow, thinking about whether eun had any other intentions or was simply friendly. eunwoo just smiled and agreed, shaking eun's outstretched hand.

kim jihun definitely made heads turn wherever he went even if it was in his own kitchen in the hotel. he was a charismatic lad who knew what he wanted and did everything he can to achieve it. he even stayed up the whole night before just to get that perfect beef wellington recipe, making eun whine at him for leaving her alone in bed. although jihun was known as an ice prince, he was actually a loyal and caring partner once you gained his trust. he wouldn't mind sitting by the bedside throughout the night to regularly change the towel on your forehead when you're sick. he would willingly hug and comfort eun when she had one of her breakdowns during the period of taec's death, even if he himself was hurting.
however, jihun was as stubborn as eun was, being the alpha male he was. he was impatient and needed things to be done fast and exactly like how he wanted it to be. but just as easily as he got angry, he calmed down pretty fast, never holding a grudge against anyone. he never thought twice to speak his mind; he was called jihun ramsay in the kitchen because of how uptight and straightforward he was to get his food perfect. despite this, beneath this serious and icy facade was a side of jihun only taec, his family and eun saw; one that was whiny and childish. it wasn't that he would do aegyo or anything of that sort, but instead of getting angry in front of his loved ones, he ended up complaining about his problems, coming off as whiny. sometimes he would even stomp around the house or kick the air as he pulled his hair, like a tantrum. at times like this, eun would eat ice cream while rolling her eyes as she listened to hun complain since he was usually reserved.

jihun is still obsessed with his business, mainly making quality food for his customers and coming up with new recipes. but now he had extra responsibility because of his marriage with a certain shedevil called kim park eunwoo. he was usually the chef for breakfast and lunch on weekdays but he is in charge of dinner from fridays to sundays. those are the days when eun actually tries to cook for both of them but end up with bland or overly seasoned food which he swallows anyway. the loves of his life are his pets as well but sometimes it gets too much when eun brings in injured strays and the house turns into a vet centre or even worse, a zoo. he is certainly more laid back with eun now despite the continuous string of insults and name calling that ensues; sometimes he even crack jokes with which eun replies with a raised eyebrow and a "i didn't know donkeys can joke", insulting his unique laughter. even though jihun was always arguing with eun, he actually felt as though his mundane life got much more livelier and he actually looks forward to their squabbling.
FIRST MEETING : picture two lonely souls, each sitting at opposite ends of the full cafe sipping on their drinks waiting for the same exact person. and then the male looked at a picture of a FEMALE previously sent from the said person and looked up from his phone. when his eyes landed on the pretty face, he stood up with his drink and went to sit down right in front of her.
cat-like eyes met his gaze and the female smirked at him, "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND. PISS OFF."
SIPPING HIS AMERICANO, THE MALE REPLIED, "AND I HAVE A BESTFRIEND. AN IDIOT BESTFRIEND WHO WANTS ME TO MEET HIS 'PRECIOUS' GIRL."

a scowl took over eun's face and she prepared her sharp tongue as a weapon, "excuse you, , but i am not a-"
both of them were interrupted by a text message from ok taecyeon, eun's boyfriend and hun's bestfriend. there was traffic so he was running late.
"for s sake" "oh no, my baby"
"he's not a ing baby" "did you just curse at my boyfriend"
there was tension in the air as the two individuals glared at each other. eun sighed as she massaged her temples, "this isn't working out. okay we need to be nice to each other because i really love taec and i want to make him happy."
jihun merely scoffed, "i don't care. you'll leave him someday and i'll be the one to help him get up. i don't like you,"
"oh yeah? i hate you!"
a smirk appeared on jihun's lips, "i'm glad the feeling's mutual."
and that was the end of the conversation as they waited for taec's late arrival, only smiling when he arrived.
HISTORY :
the 'proposal':
"my lovely daughter, park eunwoo and my bestfriend's handsome son, kim jihun. i now pronounce you, man and fiancee."

at 20, when eun was still dating taec, her father surprised her with the news of her marriage with his bestfriend's son. despite being a filial daughter, eun still tried to persuade her father to cancel the marriage, and the same was happening for jihun and his father. eun wanted to marry taec and jihun wasn't ready. on the first meeting, jihun and eun had the shock of their lives when they found out they were fiancees, making them work even harder to cancel the marriage. however, taec ended up passing on in an accident while picking eun up for a date and eun became depressed. even jihun was not himself as he tried to accept the death of his bestfriend. during family dinners between the kims and the parks, jihun was always seen comforting eun as they tried to be strong together. thinking that their children already got closer, the planning for the wedding continued and the both of them got married on 14th february 2017.
the 'honeymoon': their honeymoon to boracay, philippines wasn't awkward as the pair never failed to insult each other and nag at one another about the smallest things like leaving the toilet seat open and pressing the toothpaste from the middle. instead of doing romantic things together like walking along the starlit beach or having a good dinner in a fancy candle-lit restaurant, the couple went hiking instead to appreciate the real nature of the area. they even joined a group of teengaers taking gap-years on a kayaking trip, eventually getting closer to each other. because the villas they lived in had a kitchen, jihun ended up simply cooking food from ingredients that they bought at the local market. it was either this or them taking away the local delicacies and enjoying the food in the comfort of their villa, in front of their television. it certainly didn't feel like a honeymoon to the pair, more like a getaway from the bustling city life. but it was a step closer to them appreciating each other's presence.
post-marriage: the both of them never actually went on dates as a couple pre-marriage but due to their slight publicity thanks to their family backgrounds, they had to appear on dates in the first few months of their marriage. it was definitely awkward at first to have skinship willingly, and even worse, in front of the public. but as time went by, the pair ended up doing skinship naturally especially in front of their parents. the soft pecks on the forehead, jihun's arm around eun's waist, the fixing of each other's hair, it no longer felt forced. that was until they heard the couple talk to each other. at first, it would be playful arguing between the two but then once the wrong buttons were pushed, they ended up arguing relatively loudly even if the problem was as small as jihun being concerned about eun eating too much unhealthy food when eun just wanted to eat everything that was prepared. but when they stop acting childishly, they actually made a responsible pair that paid their bills right on time, made sure there was always enough food and drinks in the fridge and loved their kids to no end. during their first night together, they ended sleeping on two ends of the bed but since jihun was hugger, they ended up in a spooning position every night and eun got used to it; that way, she wouldn't be sleeping without a blanket at the edge of the bed.
WEDDING BELL : how was the wedding? how many came? how was the dress? was it meme like? was it cool? did you have an alcohol bar in the venue?
the wedding certainly wasn't planned by the couple, they merely followed their mothers here and there and nodded when they were required to. the only thing they actually had control over was the wedding dress and maybe even the wedding colours. they chose royal purple mainly because it was coincidentally their favourite colour. the wedding area looked luxurious with chandeliers and gold rimmed chairs while the tables were furnished with fake flowers and candles, creating a dreamy atmosphere. eun wanted an outstanding dress showing more skin than necessary but jihun was against it saying that it was a wedding not a strip club. their mothers thought of the gesture as sweet, saying that jihun was being a protective husband. they ended up compromising and found a lace dress picked by jihun which made eun look sweet and graceful. of course the wedding cake was picked by the parents who wanted it to be large and white, a symbol of endless pure love.
jihun and eun didn't want to invite many people since their wedding was fake, at least to them. having a grand wedding seemed superficial and unnecessary but their parents thought otherwise. on the day itself, over a thousand people came, cousins, 2nd cousins, long lost friends (aka business partners since the pair didn't exactly have close friends). it was chaotic and loud for the couple who had picture perfect smiles on their faces. even paparazzi were outside the hotel, trying to get a glimpse of the famous park heechul's sister who was getting married to the well-sought after chef in the country.
the wedding was supposed to be fairly formal with family members reuniting to watch the marriage of the duo. and it was that way at first until the bestfriends (yes the fathers of jihun and eun) got drunk from drinking too much at the alcohol bar. they started going up on the platform and dancing the salsa together, laughing and teasing each other about their bad dancing. having heechul in the family meant that things were never boring even during a formal wedding. he gathered a few of the girl cousins and started a train, dancing randomly. seeing as though a romantic song wouldn't be fitting for such a joyous moment, the songs were changed to something up beat, yes, heechul's songs. the crowd stood up from their seats and joined the train, both the women and men leaving their shoes behind at their tables. jihun and eunwoo were quietly watching the chaos as they munched on their food slowly at the bride and groom table. when their eyes met, jihun started smiling and so did eun. extending a hand out to her, eun grabbed it and dragged them to the front of the train, leading the crowd around the hall.
when everyone finally settled back down, heechul delightfully announced the start of the wedding dance. jihun cringed at the phrase while eun hid her face behind her hands. seeing everyone's eyes on them, jihun gently took eun's hands and brought her to the middle. slowly and gracefully dancing to the rhythm, their eyes met. jihun saw fear and sadness behind eun's eyes and eun saw the same reflected in jihun's. both of them were missing the presence of a very important person, ok taecyeon and they were also scared of what the future held for them. they were no longer just two individuals who hated each other, they were now a couple bounded by a vow, a law and a kiss. gently slipping his hand to the back of eun's head, jihun inched closer and whispered "we'll be fine" before pressing his lips onto hers.

SCENE SUGGESTIONS :
— having an actual proposal in the most unromantic way possible. like when jihun finally learns about eun's mutual feelings and emptied his can of beer quickly, plucked out the can tab and went down on one knee to propose. the can tab ended up only halfway through eun's finger which makes her smack his head. when they kissed, instead of it being romantic with the light of the banpo bridge lighting up, they got splashed with water from a nearby puddle because of a speeding bicycle.
— a bbq party with the wives squad which forces their husband to make friends with one another
— a day out to the amusement park with the neighbours. jihun goes to the haunted house to scare eun so that she would hug him and eun brings jihun on the scary rides as payback
