Ahh, I can't quite believe in under 48 hours I'll be in Seoul... It's super surreal and I'm probably still in denial. I've been packing today and it's kinda made me weirdly over excited. I haven't had any nerves kick in yet, but I'm just kinda waiting for them to hit me tomorrow before I board the actual plane.

In other news, I haven't been writing loads recently, it's been more experimenting with some ideas and throwing a few drabbles around. I've kinda settled on trying out a KrisYeol fic with mama!au but I'm nervous as I've never written Kris in a fic for more than like three lines. He's a character I'd really want to nail if I did write the fic in full (especially because he's a main) so I've been doing my best to read fics that have him as a main character, and that have krisyeol as a pairing. I'm hopeful I'll be able to make this one long as well and full of side pairings (because there is no way I'm not having Yixing feature... he's my ult, I have to do it).

I think I suffer from a little bit of perfectionism with my fics and I get super antsy when I'm working on something and it doesn't want to cooperate with me. I got very much like that with Reconciliation recently and I've shelved it briefly to let myself have a bit of distance from the fic. Don't worry though, I will be coming back to it and reviving the story. I have two chapters (one long, one short) written at this moment in time and whilst I'm away I might end up editing those and posting them. The main thing I think I struggle with is BTS's characters. Exo are much easier for me to write, perhaps because I've read a lot more exo fics, so I always get more inclined to write EXO than I do with BTS.

I'm also playing with a little Chen fic idea based on mama powers but I don't really know who I'm going to pair him with yet. I have a real soft spot for BaekChen at the moment but I can't seem to find a reason for working that with my planned plot outlines. We'll see. I have a lot of plans, but not a lot of actual written fic.

Soon though. I definitely plan to publish something in July (even if it ends up being at the very end of the month) and I'd be thrilled to get two things out. Fingers crossed.
