KRS ACADEMY ✘ Noe Seok Jin IS IN CLASS 2-F!

BACKGROUND Seokjin was born 100% deaf in his right ear and 50% deaf in his left. He was givin an implant to try to save the hearing in his left and it partially worked. For the most part it didnt bother the young boy. He was a bright star to his family.
As a young boy Seokjin went to a school for the deaf and he did very well. He was always at the top of his class. He was on the soccer team and cross country team. He was happy where he was, he was always happy. He found a good thing in everything, to him there is a silver lining everywhere.
When he was fifteen the school he was attending shut down due to budget cuts. Most of the other students were able to transfer to other schools but Seokjin's family wasnt able to move, they had too many roots where they were. He was going to have to go to a hearing school.
Part of Seokjin was scared, part was excited. He didnt get to interact with hearing kids often so he wanted to try it. His parents found a school that had KSL interpretors and got him registered.
As often as possible Seokjin didnt want to have an interpretor with him, expecially not one of the adults. That would just make things obvious he was differant. He hoped that some of the kids would know KSL and help him out.
When Seokjin got to the school they told him that they werent totally sure how to handle his case. They didnt know what he knew so they were going to put him in class F. Seokjin just thought that was a room, not that it was the room of bad kids, the less smart or the ditchers. He tried to be positive about it though, he got stuck there, other kids had to be there too

SCHOOL LIFE
For the longest time the other students avoided Seokjin like he was ill, but one day a studne tstarted signing at him and that must have been a sign to the others that he was ok. He likes school a lot but he is struggling because the teachers often turn their back and speak. He has to teach himself a lot

Geology is my favorate subject, by far. I really like Korean Sign Language as well. I get to help the teacher out all the time because I know more than him
I dont really like physical education though. I end up getting hurt all the time.
ANY FUTURE PLANS FOR YOURSELF?
I want to go to Seoul National University and study geology, maybe be the first deaf geologist to get into Time Magazine.
HOW DID YOU END UP IN CLASS F?
I'm not sure, I'm begining to think that the school didnt really want ot work with me so they put me with the others they didnt know what to do with. But misfits find place with eachother

Teachincally I'm on the soccer team but the coach ignores me and I hardly get to participate in practice.

No, I live at home It would be way too much work to get all my things here to school so I stayed with my parents.
