APPEARANCE. Sochun is 175 cm tall with a muscular build and brown hair. He does have his fare share of scars and cuts but nothing too noticable. He has three tattoos; a tiny heart on the inside of his right wrist, his families initials on his left forearm and a half skull on the back of his shoulder. He was drunk and his friends convinced him but his wife stopped before it was more than just an outline. 
STYLE. Sochun doesnt really have a style, he mainly has dark jeans, basic button up shirts or plain tshirts, more jackets than he knows about and a few suit peices.

Sochun is quick to understand things and often sees the big picture because he sees outside the box. He is always looking to learn more things and enjoys working with people who know more than he. He has an effortless humor so people enjoy being around him, he makes almost anyone laugh. He hates leaving work undone so will often throw himself into his work, even if that means late nights or over night work. His work is his life, his pride and joy, so he makes sure his work is all but perfect, it cant be anything less. Everything has to be up to that standard in his life. He doesnt do things half assed, he does things 100% or not at all. 
Sochun is more than happy to spend his off time sitting at home, not going out or socializing, he isnt anti social, he just has anto social tendancies. He has to have things done so well that he is easily considered a perfectionist. His desk is orgainized perfectly, he never lets anything go out place and he will not stop until he gets things done. He has been seeing someon, quietly, about his anxiety and he seems to be managing it but there are some times when it gets out of hand. Oddly enough that is when his daughter seems to care most about him and does great with his anxiety attacks. He doesnt like waiting around for other people to get things to him or get things done. He doesnt have issues voicalising his feelins about other people not being fast enough for him. He doesnt like sitting around and waiting, he has to have something to do, there is very little times when he doesnt find things to do but when he has to wait he can get a bit whiney about it. 

BACKGROUND.

phase I

Sochun grew up as the youngest of a police cheif so half of his childhood was in the precinct. He loved it there, there was always something interesting going on and he wanted in all the time. He started getting his nose into open cases when he was fourteen and he unoffiially helped his dad solve a few cases.  

phase II

Sochun had a girl friend his last two years of high school. At the end of their last year they found out something they werent expecting. She was expecting. Her parents wanted them to get rid of it but his parents werent going to force her hand. She moved into their house to finish off the year. 
As soon as school was done Sochun started his manditory enlistment. He got put with the local police, working under his father. When his time was up he stayed on with them. At that time Suja started working there as well. 

phase III.

Over the next ten years Sochun and Suja worked their way up to detective. They had a house just ouside the city with two dogs and a cat, both had good lives and were ready to keep building the family. They talked to their daughter, Sookja, about it and she was excited to have a younger sister. They tried to explain it might be a boy but she refused, said it would be a girl. 
Turns out Sookja was right, they had another little girl, Bora. Suja decided to take some extra time off to spend with the girls. 

phase IV.

Sochun told Suja she should take more time off, there was no rush at all but she was itching to get back. She was back for two days before the office got a tip about someone they had been chasing for months. She jumped at the chance to go back to the feild. It ended up in a shootout where Suja was killed in action. Sochun had to identify the body. 

phase V.

The next few months were hard. Sookja started getting angry at everything, Sochun included. Sochun wasn't consistanly at work, he hardly ever went out to socialize with his friends and his partner almost had to get a new one. Eventually he went back to work and started spending more time there than at home. 

phase VI.

After many, many complaints from his daughter and Gun he started seeking professional help. It was his therapist that reccomended the single parents club. He was hesitant because he thought Sookja would hate it but eventually he went.

1. hello! please introduce yourself and say a few fun facts about yourself. Hello, I'm detective Kuk, I'm a detective for the Seoul Metropolitian police, I drive a Kia Soul and have two cats. 

2. how many children do you have? what are their names? is there anything you want to say about them? Bora, shes about a year old and shes an adorible cuddle bug. Sookja, shes 13 and she is a...passionate young girl.

3. how old were you when you became a single parent? Uh, a few months ago, actually. It was an accident. 

4. at what point did you really realize you would have to take all the sole responsibilty of your children from now on? I dont really know. I dont even feel like I have been the sole responsibilty now. I just kinda feel like I've been floating through parenthood right now

5. personally, what do you think is the hardest thing about being a single parent? Yes. All of it. I had to stumble through what was happening to Sookja and that she wasn't dying, that it was totally normal for girls her age. Half the time I think Sookja gets up in the middle of the night to help Bora when she cries plus she is trying to keep her grades up. I feel like I'm loosing it

6. what is one thing you want to tell people who have single parents or are a single parent themselves? It's hard, its really hard
