Family: Jinyun has two much older cousins: Eom Junghwa(42), the Madonna of Korea, Zen's inspiration to start her career. Junghwa was a member of the Chorus of MBC; beautiful, talented and a wonderful actress, Junghwa is everything Zen wants to be. Her other cousin: Eom Tae-woong(38), a very succesful actor. Jinyun lives with her Grandfather and her mother in Seoul. Her grandma is in a nursing home and her father doesn't even know of Jinyun's existence because her mother never told him. 

Friends:

•Kang Eunjung - T-ara - Zen met Eunjung because of Junghwa. Most females in Korean Entertainment look up to Junghwa. Eunjung looked up to Junghwa, and because she once met with Junghwa, she met Zen as well.

Training History: Zen never auditioned for SMent; they seemed to be too centered around ballads and love songs for her taste. She started at BrandNewStardom along with Zico, but after a while she bounced to TSent where Jepp was. Not long after Zen decided that wasn't the place for her either and she switched over to Open World. Still not satisfied, Zen moved to YG. It was more her style then some of the others but she still didn't feel quite at home. She moved once more, this time to JYP. And she felt comfortable at JYPent, more than she had at the others. She didn't know why she liked it more than the others, nothing had been wrong with the others, but JYP just felt like the right place to be.
