Writer's Block
I've been trying for weeks and weeks now to get the epilogue for The Water God written, and it's just not happening. So frustrating!

I feel a lot of pressure to make it amazing, and I think that's what is making me freeze up. I'm going to step away from it for a little while and work on other stuff. Maybe inspiration will strike when I'm not trying so hard to force words onto the page. You all have been so patient as you wait for me to post it. I really appreciate that nobody has nagged me about it or complained that it's taking too long. Thank you! ♥ I promise that I'll post the epilogue as soon as I write something decent.

Co-Writers for The Body Guard
Those of you who've read The Body Guard know that I'm looking for authors to alternate chapters with me. I'm willing to help the authors out and work together on the plot and characters, but they'll still need to write the actual chapters. I know that many of my readers are extremely talented authors in their own right, so I'm not worried about the quality of the fic. Revamping Fireflies

I'm rereading Circling Fireflies from the beginning to prepare for writing it again. And to remind myself of all the little details that I've put in the story already. It feels so weird! It seems like I wrote these beginning chapters of First Love a million years ago. While I'm going through the chapters, I'm fixing all the little issues that have been bothering me for so long: formatting problems, style and text inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, minor continuity issues, and other stuff like that. I'm not making any major changes, just minor tweaks. Don't be alarmed if you see a chapter disappear here and there. It just means I'm working on it and will repost it when I'm done. That brings me to...

 

Arc of Time and Future Plans
Many months ago, I pulled Arc of Time from my fic list. Nobody seemed to notice, so that reassured me it was the right choice. I think it's too complicated a story to work the way I'd planned to write it--especially when I can only update a chapter here and there every few months. I'll probably continue to work on it on my own and then post it when the whole story is complete. We'll see!

As most of you know, I've been clearing my plate so I can work on nothing but Mad Love for the rest of the year. I'm pretty much at that point now. I'll update A Taste of You here and there, and I'll write the conclusion to Messy/Come Clean as a bonus fic, but my heart really wants to focus on Fireflies. So that's what I'm going to do! I've still got almost 2 weeks left of vacation, so I'm going to get as much writing in as I can before my whirlwind job takes over again.
