description — Rosie is described as a very alert person. it is a definite trait that is passed on within the batfamily, but she figures that is due to the training and the mindset that keeps the family going.She is basically the first to catch onto things instantly and she refuses to let things like these escape her. She is also benevolent. She goes out of her way to give to others besides the fact that it comes with the job as a vigilante. She simply wants to help and she feels it every day and even when she looks in the eyes of victims. Intelligence is also a trait that runs in her family. studying up to be a detective, she has learned a lot about the world around her, the mind of a villain and problem solving to the most efficient level possible. It is easy for her to pick up on certain things, which makes navigating around her city easier and it helps her find her subjects quickly. Her charismatic attitude is something that was passed down from her parents but also influenced by her grand father bruce. With her charisma and her passion, she has a powerful influence over those who are very close to her. Last, she is very flexible. She had to do a lot of work to defend gotham. However, it grew to be a very easy task and second nature to her, due to her mind and ability to focus very well.
 

Rosalie is a determined girl which comes as a common trait within the family. She desires to do whatever she can to protect the city and do it right until she can't do it anymore. Her determination keeps her going and it pushes her to widened her horizons and her knowledge to do good for others even if they can't do it themselves. She is also the kind of girl who is kind of enigmatic. In the face of the enemy, she is hard to figure out which gives her a high advantage over them. as a member of the bat family, being an enigma prevents anyone to find her out and use her family as an asset and to bring her in. she knows the risks, since she has learn that from many of her predecessors before her. Luckily, she doesn't let that discourage her. She can be intense sometimes, especially when it comes to the members of her family, it comes out in her emotions to the point where she sometimes needs to stop. if she doesn't it will leave the latter that she is letting it out on black and blue. Just like her parents, her grandparents and other members of the bat family, she follows the same moral code. she does not kill. she can kick another person's, but she does not take another's life. it is goes against the moral code. lastly, she is athletic. you can thank her parents and even friends of her parent's who trained her.

On the negative side, she tends to be a very cautious person, which is nothing knew within the bat family. sometimes it hinders her from making quick decisions which can threaten her life. however, she is able to get out of them with ease. it is nothing knew for her to experience moments like these, but it is something that bothers her. she is also very fixed, when it comes to things. similar to the joker being fixed on her grandfather bruce who patrolled gotham as batman himself, she gets fixed on obtaining every detail of the new generation of villains that came after them. especially the kids. when it comes to the household names within the bat family, she can also get very insecure. she wishes to be as great as they are, so the people of gotham know that the batfamily isn't a group to be messed with. they are a group to fear and rosalie doesn't want them to think otherwise with her. Sometimes, she can be very naive to the point that she trusts the wrong people. there was a moment where she trusted someone with her struggles...but that certain someone turned out to be a relative to jason todd who vowed to kill batman. luckily, she stopped him in his tracks in order to keep her grandfather safe. lastly, she can be opinionated. however, there are times where she needs to be quiet and keep things to himself.

Origin —
Rosalie came from a long line of heroes, or vigilantes if you will. she heard of the many stories or the dark knight or the one who strikes fear in the face of evil and keeping gotham safe. She has definitely heard it all, but the fact that her parents were a part of this family was unknown to her at an early age.

Rosalie Grayson is the only child to Grayson who was known as the first robin, now nightwing and Barbara gordon was the first bat girl and now oracle due to a horrible accident. As a child, she did not think much about it, since she was simply living her life and being the child her parents wife, until crime began to run rampant.

her grandather jim and her grandfather figure were retired from the crimefighting scene, but that meant they had to pass on the wisdom and the knowledge of what was in store for the next generation within the bat family. At first, she did not really know that her parents were those famous members of the bat family, but there was a time where she needed to be in the know to be ready for the worst.

unfortunately, that time came sooner than possible.

jason todd, powered by the lazarus pit broke into her parents place in the efforts to spite her father who was the first robin. rosalie was asleep while her grandfather jim was in a room next to her, until jason todd slipped in. he grabbed rosalie (with struggle and shouts), but he put chloroform on and hopped out of the window. jim woke up from the commotion, going in to check on rosalie only to find his granddaughter kidnapped.

when he called her parents, they obviously threw a fit. he checked the whole room and noticed his signature that was a red bat symbol. it was red hood and he did it to spite her father and mother. instantly, with the help of the police they surrounded the warehouse, where red hood held her.

*story time*

Her father, in his mid fourties, but still quick on his feet infiltrated the warehouse and looked around for her and red hood. "JASON! I know you are in here!" Her father yelled in anger as the panic for his daughter was at an all time high. "Let my daughter go! She has no involvement in this!" Her father yelled, but only met with a round of bullets. he dodged it and landed on another corner, meeting eyes with jason who had his gear on.

"On the contrary , she is."

Jason corrected him with his mechanized voice. "Being born within the bat family comes with risks, especially when you take something that someone else already had his eyes on." his voice held hatred and malice, while her mother spoke in the communicator. ", I found rosalie, she is in room located in the southwest corridor. gagged and tied to a chair." Her father snarled at the mention of it and said softly. "copy that, honey." looked up to jason.

"Bastard. kidnapping my daughter isn't going to change anything!"

"Oh yes it is, jason! Rosalie came from a part of babs. if i take that, i have that with me until she gets older."

shook his head in disbelief, he was out of his mind. "You don't know what you are saying jason."

"I KNOW DAMN WELL WHAT i am talking about! You took that away from me and now i will take something from you!"

jason hopped off from the ledge and ran to the room that rosalie was held in. rosalie's eyes was tear stained, but held with anger and hatred towards jason.

"Let me go!" Jason removed his helmet and revealed his face to her. "oh no rosalie, i won't." "How, do you know my name?!" Jason chuckled. "i know everything about you. your parents and your connection to bruce. if i take that away, i win the battle."

Rosalie, who was sixteen years old, glared at him. "you won't win, red hood. my father will come after you and kick your ." rosalie barked towards jason, while secretly finding a knife and trying to cut herself free. "Oh, and what makes you think that, my pretty flower?" Jason reached out to brush the back of his knuckles to her face.

In retaliation, rosalie bit on his hand and broke herself free. "i am the daughter of two bad parents and i tend to carry on that legacy!" Rosalie flipped over and kicked the chair roughly towards jason and catching him off guard. jason stumbled back, hitting the wall behind him. He could see the grayson blood running through her, which made him smile widely.

"Just like your father..."

"DAMN RIGHT!" Her father broke into the room and got into a fight with jason. rosalie watched nightwing fight red hood and looked around to find a weapon. she ran to find a metal staff, as she saw nightwing rocket towards the wall.

"Alright, that's it!" She used her martial arts skills that were embedded into her brain, taking on red hood's blows, but with her intelligence she took him off guard and subdued him...taking his weapons out of his reach. "I will not go with you so easily red hood." Rosalie seethed through her teeth, pointing it at his neck and pushing against his throat to show that she meant business.

"Haha...you taught her well .." Rosalie's eyes widened. "What?! That's nightwing! That's not my father!" Nightwing groaned, dreading that this day would come. he planned on keeping this from her, but this put him in a tight spot taking that choice from her.

"Actually rosie...i am." Her father confessed and she turned to see him without his cowl on and staring her right in the eye.

"Dad...?"

Rosalie was shocked and actually angry at the fact that her parents kept this from her...but to be in the know of her parents being in the bat family, would put a target on her back, so after some time of taking it in...she accepted that.

however, it only meant for her to train hard and take on the title as bat girl who belonged to her mother first.

years passed as she trained to take on the cowl as bat girl, but she had to go on patrols early along with her best friend ethan drake who found out that her parents were time drake (red robin) and stephanie Drake (Formly brown who was bat girl then spoiler).

many hard years have passed, but it did not take long to let gotham know that there were new vigilantes that were here to protect gotham.

at the age of 25 five, she was well-adjusted to the title of being bat girl and simply doing what her parents did, until she was approached by a woman named margaret price who was from another world.

what did she want? she didn't know...but she was surely going to find out.

Rosalie admires her mother for many reasons. She admires her mother's perserverance, strength, resilience and poise against the forces of evil. When she was training to take on the identity of batgirl of batgirl, her grandfather informed her of the many things that can happy. It is basically warning her of the dangers that will entail for her. When she curiously asked how did she get in the wheelchair, her grandfather hesitated for a little. He did not want her to think about it or let it dwell in her mind. However, she told her grandfather rather bluntly that she has witnessed evil plenty of times in gotham, so it is nothing new to her. in reluctance, he acquiesced to her curiosity and told her about her mother's abuse from the joker and how he paralyzed her. the fact that she did not shy aware from that and continued as a hero made rosalie happy and proud. she was lucky to be born in a bad family.

grayson | father | retired as night wing

her father was a definite and total fool for his daughter. it showed from the first time that she was born and that look of determination to take on the world. when she asked about what he has done as nightwing, he first did not want her to know the evil's that he has faced. as a father, he wanted to protect his daughter from many of the evils of gotham and to be safe. however, as he watched his baby girl, the light of his life grow into a mature and strong young woman he knew that he could not shield her any longer. someone had to carry on the legacy of the bat family and he knew how much potential her daughter had. as she passed the age of eighteen, he told her everything. from the time her grandfather bruce took him in, trained him and mentored him, to the point where he went his own way as nightwing. rosalie admired that and used the strength that her father and mother had to account. due to the fact that she will take on the household name of bat girl, she needed to know everything there is to know about her city and what lies beneath it.

jim gordon | grandfather | Retired as comissoner

comissioner jim gordon is rosalie's grandfather blood and when she was a child, she watched how he worked in the local police department. His detective skills, his resolve and how he handled the tough cases back then was pretty admirable for her. Her mother always brought her into her grandfather's office, noticing all of his notes and his cases organized and connected to each other. She was so enticed by it, to the point where she wanted to follow his grandfather as a detective because someone had to work hard to protect gotham. in simple terms, if she didn't who would? It was the simple question that always haunted her mind before she told her parents and even her grandfather that she wanted to continue on as the new girl and work to protect gotham alongside ethan drake who is the new red robin after his father time drake. despite his parents and grandparents settling down, she had to learn from other sources,

bruce wayne | grandfather | retired as batman

Besides her grandfather by blood, bruce wayne posed as another grandfather figure by all means. he was one of the first to noticed that determined look in her eyes, a fire that burned in the desire to protect gotham. however, he was along with her blood family, who was against her taking on the cowl as bat girl. however, with crime running rampant, someone had to take the challenge on since the gotham police department were unable to piece certain things together.while she trained hard in martial arts, bruce guided her in the art of deductive reasoning and detective work. despite his old age, it never stopped him from training her to carry on the name of bat girl. the legacy of the bat family must continue. besides, who better to do that than rosalie herself. besides, rosalie reminds bruce so much of barbara and . rosalie has the intelligence and drive from her mother and the resilience and adaptability like her father .

Ethan drake | Best friend | the new red robin

ETHAN AND ROSALIE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE BIRTH AND HAVE GROWN CLOSE SINCE THE MEMBERS OF THE BAT FAMILY STUCK TOGETHER THROUGH THICK AND THIN SO IT WAS NO SURPRISE THAT THE NEW GENERATION OF THE BAT FAMILY WOULD GROW CLOSE. ETHAN DRAKE IS SIMILAR TO HIS FATHER IN A WAY, BUT ALWAYS HAD A WILD SIDE TO HIM WHICH WEIRDLY COMPLIMENTS ROSALIE. THEY HAVE BEEN BEST FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS AND ARE DETERMINED TO CARRY ON THE TITLES OF BAT GIRL AND RED ROBIN. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR HER AS THEY WATCHED THEIR FAMILY TAKE CARE OF THE BAD GUYS IN GOTHAM TO MAKE IT SAFER FOR THEM. HE IS PROUD OF WHAT HIS FATHER AND MOTHER ACCOMPLISHED AND DOES WHAT HE CAN TO CARRY ON THE TITLE RED ROBIN PROUDLY.

"i CAN USE MY TECHNICAL SKILLS TO ANALYZE THE GUN POWDER AND FIND PROBABLE MATCHES TO THE GUN MODEL AND TRACE IT BACK TO THE CURRENT HOLDERS. iT IS EASIER FOR ME TO FIND CONNECTIONS IN ORDER TO EXTRACT THE WEAPONS AND TAKE DOWN THEIR DEFENSES ONE BY ONE."
