I apologize way too much, but this one is deserved. I haven't updated in a long time (over a month to be exact), but I have a very important reason!

I think I've made some posts in the past, but I have an eye condition known as Strabismus. It can cause double vision, but the longer you go without treatment, your brain starts to cancel out the double vision (which damages you sight, because you are effectively blocking one eye of vision). I had 2 surgeries as a child, but neither of them corrected the issue. For years, I had prisms in my glasses that were getting progressively larger. This past autumn, I had a third surgery. It worked! I no longer had double vision at a distance, but we had to wait first 8 weeks to determine that the surgery was successful. At that point with my previous surgeries, my eyes had already revert back to turning and I had double vision again. But that didn't happen! Then the 6 month mark determines if the surgery held completely. And it did!

However, around 4 months after the surgery, I started to notice reading was becoming increasingly hard to do. I couldn't figure out why at first until I realized I was closing one eye out of habit, manually canceling double vision. I still have double vision with reading and it was causing severe headaches. My reading speed was also much slower than I had been in the past. My doctor confirmed that I need prisms for up close, meaning I have to get a pair of reading glasses. Once those come in (hopefully in the next few weeks), I'll be back to my normal speed!

I'm also nearing the end of my last year of high school, which is keeping me busy for about another week. Then I will have most of the summer to focus a lot on writing!

So I'm sorry for the delay, but things will come together soon. I've been working on things slowly to hopefully have some surprises throughout the summer.
