Random thoughts about being a "bad fan"

In these 10 months I'm spending in China I've been out of the K-pop world (except for the fanfics, but not even that much). I know at max 5 songs that have come out while being here. I came to Beijing to focus on my studies, couldn't get distracted.

And now I'm like: what about EXO? I just know they have the new sub unit (Hey Mama is my new drug).

What about a come back? Isn't usually one at the beginning of summer?

Still, I have exams at the end of June. I need to concentrate, it's important to me (even though the final score doesn't influence me in any way since I've already got my Bachelor degree). I came here for me, after all, to improve my Chinese.

I got to know EXO because I my major was Chinese and a classmate of mine let me listen to Call Me Baby.

EXO came to me thanks to Chinese, not the other way around.

Still, I feel I'm a bad fan.

没有办法。

(Really random thoughts one has when, while studying Chinese, an EXO song comes by. To put it simply, all Jongdae's great intro in Heaven's fault.)

EDIT: Galaxy_98 just made me have an extreme fangirl moment because of CBX "Ka-CHING!". I officially don't know what to do with my life anymore.

You're bad fan when you turn against them. Actually, then you're not even a fan anymore. Fan is someone who supports their idols no matter what. And idols understand that their fans can't be focused on them 247/365 (kinda sad I never remember is it 365 or 356 if I don't sing, thanks to Blackpink for teaching me things)

Sadly, EXO might have a comeback during your exams so, bless you beforehand.
EXO love's their fans no matter how they got discovered. Its unconditional. Did you listen to Kaching Kaching by CBX?

When they released a new m.v Monster, it took me three weeks to actually see it even when all I was seeing around was monster talk and when I did see it I was questioning my life choices.
*sighs*
I still consider myself a fan because I do like their music (not all songs, yes)
So compare yourself to me and be happy ♡
You can't be as bad as I'm

Ay, you ain't a bad fan just 'cause you didn't keep up. Most fans (international ones) have these phases where they go in and out of kpop, or at least listen to it more or less. You had (have) to do, so I wouldn't feel bad about it if I were you. Besides, EXO are fine no matter how many people don't listen actively since their fanbase is enormous.
