BACK UP FACE CLAIM
APPEARANCE )

Most people wouldn't see Byul's face at first. Not to sound erted, but they would mostly look at her long, lean legs. In which they would slowly scan upwards towords her face, and are blessed at her beautiful facial features. Also, her pale, smooth, and silky skin, which was acheived because her mother would always make her slab on dozens of sunscreen on. Also, she said that moisturizing is key.

The when it comes to her facial features many are quick to notice that her eyes that are natrual light shade of brown. Which are similiar to actor Seo Kang Jun's. She also has high cheek bones that compliments her oval shaped skin. But in Byul's opnion, she thinks her best features are her naturally plumped lips and are a shade of light pink without makeup.

Also since Byul no longer attends high school she has used the opportunity to dye her hair. (since we all know how strict some Korean high schools are and students are not allowed to dye their hair), Byul used to have natural dark brown hair, and then she had black, dark purple, and now she's fond of a bit of a orange-ish tint of hair with pink ombre.

STYLE ) Despite Byul's elegant appearence, she actually prefers more of a street style. Maybe because she grew up outside of South Korea, maybe that's why she doesn't have much care into her apperence and isn't an over the top fashionista.

However, our Byul loves to show off her long legs because she believes that there probably won't be another time where she could be more than proud to own and embrace her body.

PERSONALITY )
➳ Good → Ambitious, Passionate, Optimistic, Outgoing, Empathetic
➳ Bad → Perfectionist, Tireless, Downheartened, Nervous, Vulnerable

Good:
// "This is how I do it." // So, with Byul, she is one of the oldest (age wise) contestant and has a bit of a long training career (which will be explained in the Background) she must have a pretty strong desire and determination to train and to have waited for so long to become an idol. She wants to succeed at what she does best and that shows when she's onstage performing. You can just feel her passion for what she does, and that she wants to be on the stage so badly and to get her hand on the microphone to tell who she is for 3 minutes. Her passion is what drags you into her performance, and make you just want to listen more. Because of that, her stage presence is on fleek. When her parts come on, you best believe that she's making the audience remember her name and making sure that her part is what stands out.

// "There's a light at the end of the tunnel." // But when Byul's off the stage and not training she's pretty much not what he portrays herself as what she is. Because you know the saying, "Fake it 'till you make it.", right? Because in reality when you see idols onstage, you literally can only see them for 3-4 minutes and done. Goes with variety shows too. Not everyone is who they actually say they are. Byul'sis no exception. She does show a confident and charismatic side of him onstage, but of the stage is a different story. Because due to her past, it has left her in a vulnerable state. But she just has to keep reminding her something what she's doing this for - who's she doing this for. Because that's the reason why she's walking in a very shaky bridge, and a road with a lot of unexpected twists, turns, and bumps. To know and just hope that all the hardwork and pain will be paid off one day, and to just see the people who were behind you the whole time to just cry because you made it. To know that they're proud of you is what Byul thinks - knows that all the pain she faced and others faced is what makes their loved ones smile.

// "Hi, is the first word of friendship." // With her past crawling back to her thoughts during the competition, Bomseok tries her hardest to make sure that the girls (ecspecially the younger ones) to know what they're in for. She wants them to know that it takes sweat, blood, and a whole lot of tears to just train. Everyone knows that a trainee lifestyle is hinderous no matter what. But the expierience is a whole lot easier when you have allies. Because she started out young, and she had to sacrifice a lot in her youth, but with the people that she met it made them feel like she was not sacrificing that much (if that makes sense). With the contestants that she meets through the show, she wants to be like the people she encountered in her trainee life. She like an Unnie who always has her shoulders ready for them to lean on and the simple pat of the back when they did a good job. Byul even spends some time with other trainees to tell them what they look like they're struggling with, and has bit one-on-one with them as well. Plus, the figure to remind them that the road to be an idol is not the glitz and glamour.

Bad:
// "Never give the opportunity to waste your time twice. // Byul is treating this compeition as a second chance for his dream. It took a lot of courage for her to get her head back in the game. Now, she's rested, and ready to rumble because this is probably the factor in her life that changes who she's going to be and she wants to make sure that what she's going to be in the furture, is what everything she does in the present doesn't go to waste. She is probably the last person that leaves the practice room because she's still training herself past his limits which can lead her some minor complication. Because she's a perfectionist, it slows a team down when she knows she didn't do something right, she wants to restart to make sure that she's timing, position, and everything is right. She doesn't really care how much her eyes flutter when she's tried, or how sweaty her training clothes get, even with the amount of people to tell her to stop. She wants to start this competiton with her all, and leave the competiton to know that she gave her all.

// "Being nervous isn't a bad thing. It just means that something important is going to happen." // Even despite being couragous enough to come back to the harsh trainee life to become an idol. No matter how hard she had it before in life, doesn't mean that the same amount of jitters can change. No matter how confident she may seem onstage, she' still nervous and scared that she might fumble her lines, and has to play it off like nothing has happened. Also, there's time where she does doubt herself if she's picking the right path. That maybe the past event were a sign to tell her that this is not right path for him. She does lose the fire that was inside of her at times, because she's scared that the cycle that she faced will hit her like a typhoon. And trust me, it's scary.

// "People don't cry for being weak. It's because sometimes we were strong for so long." // Byul may seem confident, and charismatic, but let me tell you something. It's easier to say that there's nothing wrong, but it's harder to keep your head and actually being strong. Byul faced a lot of hardships when she came to Korea. She thought that the hardships will make her stronger than she was then, so she held in a lot of tears to herself because she didn't want other people to know she was hurting. Some of her experience made her feel vulnerable. She thought if music was the right path for ger and really consider to quitting in the past. She still does now, but because she doesn't want to fail in front of others, she has to put on a mask on to make her seem strong, but when she's in bed, she grabs her blanket and he just cries, because it really is hard to actually be strong for friends, family, fans, and most of alll - herself.

PAST )

// New York // Just by looking at the title you know where I'm going with this. Byul was born in Brooklyn, New York. She didn't come from the most well off families, but she made do with the make do. It made her appreciate the value of a dollar (which explains why she can be cheap at times) and doesn't want to waste a lot of money. Her parents owned a convenience store that was a block away from school, so a lot of kids from her class knew who she was. She was always the kid who appreciated what she had/has. As you may know that New York isn't the most racial friendly city. But atleast some people weren't raised by racist people, and didn't mind her ethnicity. In New York she was always someone who didn't really talk as much, but she as a damn good friend to lean on when you needed it. She made a lot of friends when it came to music. At her parents convenience store they would play the radio and listened to a lot of hip-hop and R&B. She still remembers when her friends would whip their phone out at free period, and would listen to the latest track of Jay-Z's new album.

// Gotta Go Back // Unfortunatley (age 10), there was a time where her parents convenince store weren't getting enough money and had to back to South Korea to get a better job there. She had to start anew. She only knew basic Korean because his parents taught him enough to get him by, but he had a bit of an Brooklyn accent to her voice that made her mispronounce some words. So she would get made fun of a lot and it kind of restrained her from talking because it would embarass herself.

// Lean On Me // Learning more Korean more traditionally weren't cutting for her that much. Luckily, there was music. To fit in with some people at her school in Brooklyn. Like hip-hop. She listened to a lot of old-school hip-hop like Wu-Tang Clan, N.W.A, Warren G, etc. Then she had to listen to Korean Music to make her feel like she wasn't that different from other kids. It was like music was somehow, always there for her to help her. it helped with feeling like he was different, that it was okay to be different, and that he wasn't alone.

// How It All Came Together // Byul became an avid fan of Khip-hip. Because she had to admit that the beat was great, and probably because the lyrics were in another language, and had a lot more meaning, then what she usually heard in American hip-hop. She came to know Epik High, Verbal Jint, G.o.d, and of course her all time favourite 1TYM. She made friends because of her common interest in hip-hop. She also had a habit that comes out when she listens to music with headphones, and would just rap a long with it, without even knowing she's doing it.

A year after living in South Korea, her parents re-opened a convenince store down the street from her school. So, as a chore she was usually looking after the store (as a cashier). He would rap along to the songs that the radio played, go back to work when there's customers in the store.

It was only when she was 16 years old, after school one day, she was looking after the store, while her parents were resting for a while at home. A man in a very professional looking suit came to the cash register to pay for instant ramen and looked up to see her pretty face that a thought was conjuring in the mans head.

He literally asked if Byul liked hip-hop, in which she (Byul) hesitantly nodded in response. The man gave her a card, and said, "You have a good face, tryout for our company. I'll put in a good word in for you." And left (with his instant ramen).

When she told his parents about the news, her parents were unsure to push her towards that path, but they told her to do whatever she wants. She talked to her friends during school, and they said that she was should tryout. And since they were bestfriends Byul didn't want to audition. It was only until after school the next day, her friends dragged her to the company (that was called Stardom Entertainment).

She rapped to some lyrics that he wrote himself, when she was inspired by Lessangs' "I'm Not Laughing". Then about after a month she got confirmation that she was an official trainee of Stardom Enertainment.

// Blood, Sweat, And A Lot of Tears // Byul, didn't look after the store when she started to train. She felt bad for her parents because they were working, when they should resting. But her parents assured him, as long as he's doing something that makes her happy, and making them happy because of that, then it's okay.

Byul was considered a baby when she entered the company as she started training. She was a 16 year-old boy going through "the sensitive time" phase. She was nervous if she seemed like she wasn't the hip-hop type. Because she looked at some of the other trainees, who looked way more hardcore than her.

Despite being nervous, there were trainees (now close friends of hers) who made him feel like she had a sense of protection.

As a trainee she continued to improve a lot with her rapping, and dance moves. Also, she got to practice composition.

// Hey, Mom and Dad, I Made It //
But as we all know trainee life, is hard to do. Because she would wake up in the morning, got to school, train, and repeat. Plus, when she had to focus a lot more school when she's there.

However after three years of training hard, Byul was given the news that she would finally be making her debut as the leader of a five membered girl group. She was ecstatic that she would be making her parents proud and her dreams would come true.

Bomseok continued to train for her debut, and that came to the news about Stardom's Entertainment CEO ran away with the money that Block B's parents had gave him. Everyone of the trainees were shocked. Because that's what happened to Block B, then what would happen to them?

So on August 9th, 2012 their MV debut was released and soon after Evol debuted at the ripe age of 19 and as the leader. She even earned the title as the "Female Version of Zico" due to being in the maknae line, but still became the later. After they debuted, she thought that they would be popular like their seniors, Block B however their expectations wasn't made. They started off with a good debut, but soon after they were being slowly forgotten by the public.

But as the leader of the group, Byul wanted to keep her members energized and praying for the best. Evol did minimal promotions for their songs, and barely came out on variety shows. However their seniors became the face of the company, and the company's girl group slowly began to crumble.

It was only a year later of Evol's debut that they finally had a comeback - which a bare amount of people cared about. They were gone for so long, yet Block B was never fading. But her duty as a later was to stay strong for the girls.

They waited and waited for another comeback, but nothing was happening and it seemed like they were going no where. They couldn't even try to nullify their contracts with the company due to their already continued trials with Block B. Each of the members were doing individual things and not working as one.

Soon the pain ended for everyone that was tied to Stardom Entertainment once everyone's contract was renewed and were now free. Byul left the company at the age of 22.

'Till this very day, Byul would always think that Evol had talented members, a great debut, but maybe the timing was all wrong.

// What Now? // Byul left the company after 3 years of training and 3 years of debuting as the leader of Evol. Because Byul seemed to focus more on music in her years of youth, she didn't study enough to go to a good college. But she did end up going to small local college, and is attending her first year as a major in Business.

She still writes raps, and monitor herself out of habits from when she' was a trainee, but she hasn't fullout performed again as of yet.

After 2 years of leaving the idol life behind her, it was sad to say that Byul didn't know what to do in her life. Music was her first love, but was also he main enemy. Byul left with many regrets and questions for herself. "Was it because of me that my team failed?", "Did I do enough to help my members?", "How come we didn't succeed?". She felt a sense that she failed her parents time for taking care of the store by themselves and is now making it up for them by working there as soon as her classes finish 'till late at night to close the store.

Some fans of the flopped group noticed the former Star Leader. They asked if she felt bad because their group didn't made it, is she working there to make up for some debt that she had. But Byul would've just scanned their items and ask for their change. Even if it may have seemed rude, she honestly didn't know how to respond to a question that she even ddn't know what was the problem.

// There's No Shame in Failing, But There is Shame in Giving Up // Byul would watch the store's TV installed and watch successful idol groups. She would hear the fan chants, see the first place winners, hear their 1st win speech, everything that she never heard. Her parents could see their daughter's face yearning for the chance to stand on stage again. But what was really heartbreaking to Byul that his parents bought a TV for the convenience store, to see him onstage for when she would debut. So, it hit her parents hard when Evol disbanded, and their daughter had to take a break from dreams and go back to her regular lide routine.

Byul hasn't completely gaveup on music. Byul has been balancing her rapping, singing, composing, producing, and her studies. Byul knows that it's risky to throw everything away for something that can't be gaurenteed, but she also wants something to lean back on if her dreams don't work out.

Then randomly, as she was studying late at night at home, on her 5th ciup of coffee, she got a phone call from her old and close friend, Woo Jiho (friendship will be explained later).

 "Yah! Byul-ah, you up?"

"I was. What do you want?"

"Uhm... How do I put this easily?"

"I'm scared now? Put "what" easily?"

"You know how you wanted to be an idol, but you were never really given a chance to show it?"

"Why do you have to bring that... Yeah."

"There's a survival show that's looking for contestants to join."

"So?"

"Yah! Aren't you in college? You should join!"

There was a moment of silence. Bomseok reminicised his trainee days, and the last days of being in Stardom.

"I'm in college now. Plus, it's already been a year, I have to do something for my parents to be proud of. Music is just a hobby now, and studies is a priority. You know how hard it is on my parents when they have to look after the convenience store."

"How about the TV in the store? They bought that to see you onstage. Even if they see you on that small screen again, they would be proud of you. Don't you want them to feel to see their daughter on TV doing what she loves and making others happy?"

After Jiho said that, another moment of science came back.

"Just... Just think about it. Do what makes you happy."

// Do or Don't //

Soon, Byul found herself in the entertainment industry once again.

She decided to audition for the shor for her parents and himself to be "herself" and as, a Shining Star.

Mother / Jun, Shinhye / 35 / Caring, nuturing, playful, supportive
It's obvious where Byul has gotten her looks. But ever since Byul was born, her and her mom were inseperable. She taught Byul to work hard and to never give up. When she debuted for the short amount of time she was the proudest mom in the world. Seeing her daughter doing what she loved made her think that she was living the dream. However when Byul returned home after Evol disbanded, she noticed the shine in her little Star was hindering, but she encouraged her to get up and try again.

Despite Byul being close with her mother, we all have a daddy's girl in all our heart. But one thing that Byul doesn't understand is how someone so childish like her father, but maybe because since her mother is mature, her dad's playfulness balances her out. Also, whenever Byul was in a bad mood her dad was always there to put a smile on her face. Also, you can bet that Byul dad is one of those dads that brags to his collegues about his daughter

Close Friend / Woo Jiho aka "Zico" / 24 / Charismatic, wise, concernful, lighthearted
Jiho and Byul met when they were just mere trainees under the same company. Jiho treated Byul as a little sister because she looks so lost at practice and he thought that she would show her around since he was training before. While they were training Zico would give her a lot feedback and help her with her producing skills. And that was when a beautiful friendship blossomed. Zico felt sorry for Byul's group flopping and ever Evol's disbandment he tried to persuade Byul to sign under Block B's new company, but Byul refused because she wanted to focus on her studies. Plus, they do hangout time to time.

Best Friends / Son, Yoomi / 24 / Positive, Optmistic, Energetic, Understanding
Yoomi and Byul met each other as neighbours when Byul moved back to South Korea. At first Byul was a bit shy around new people, but Yoomi wasn't. Almost after the day Byul moved Yoomi knocked on their door and asked Byul to hang out. Byul's made the decision for Byul to go, but that was the one of best days of Byul's life. Yoomi and Byul clicked instantly. They were like each others Ying and Yang. Yoomi was one of the first people to push her to audition for Stardom and was the president of Byul's fanclub. Yoomi was also there when Evol dissolved. Yoomi and Byul has been through thick and thin together and they're just waiting for the next thing that's going to happen to them.

TRAINING YEARS  )
- 3 years
TRAINING LIFE )
Well, as you know Byul's trainee life was a while ago, 8 years ago to be exact. Byul's trainee life was hinderous and asked a lot for her at the young age of 16 at that time. As a trainee in her teenage years, there was a lot of things to give up. She had to give up friends, school events, field trips, high grades, the list can go on and on. That's why she wasn't able to get in a lot of colleges once she graduated. Her life at that time was waking up, school, practice 'till midnight and repeat the next day.

But it was worth it since she debut in the end, but that doesn't mean it got easier for her either. Because there were more schedules to attend to, practices got more strict, less and less time to study. Plus her health also took a hit with countless hours at the studio. It was an exhausting lifestyle, but Byul wouldn't have neever taken a single moment back. Because the million hours spent in the dance studio, recording booth and countless visits to the hospital made her the person she is today. Because without it, Byul wouldn't be the hardworker that she is now.
But when Evol flopped and disbanded, Byul's trainee life has taken a backseat and downgraded from there. Instead of a dance studio, Byul has to dance in her room, without a recording studio Byul had to rap/sing into her phone and replay it back from there, but less time was spent practicing because she was making up for all those years of not studying. Music seemed less of a priority for Byul because she doesn't have Plan B yet. But with the small amount of time that Byul can fit in her schedule of studying, she practices her music. Even if it's 5 minutes spent on her music, Byul made something that could be a big hit for her.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES/ACTIVITIES )
➳ As mentioned before, Byul was introduced in the public's eye when she was just 19 years old as "Shining Star Leader" of Evol. She was in charge as the main rapper, lead dancer, and a sub vocal in the group. However after 3 years of Evol debuting they unfortunatley disbanded in 2015 and gone their seperate ways. Many fans thought they had talent, but the timing and company was all wrong.
TRIVIA )
➳ likes
   -
Hip-hop - Of course, a rapper that likes hip-hop. But she does listen to other genres, like R&B, pop, but hip-hop is what she                majorly listens to

   - Math - Hard to believe that the a person would like math willingly, right? Well, with being a cashier for most of her life, she got          pretty good with numbers, and is one of her few talents. She can almost instantly calculate anything in her head, excpet long              equations when he has to write her theories down

   - 90's hip-hop - She prefers the 90's hip-hop because, in Byul's opinion, back then rappers would write their own stories into lyrical      poetry. Instead of how some artists of today's music would be generic in their songwriting process (but then again this is solely            Byul's  opinion

   - Block B - Yes, we all saw this coming. The boys of Block B and Byul were and still close with each other back in their trainee days.     They would treat her like a baby, because of her age when she started and saw her as a little sister.  Zico and Park Kyung like to joke   back in the days that they were Byul's parents when they were training.

   - Verbal Jint - When it came to listening to Korean hip-hop, Byul is a really big fan of Verbal Jint. His flow, voice, just his everything.

   - Kimbap - Again, another obvious like about Byul. She is always snacking on any type of kimbaps. When she's in her dorm and has    nothing to eat, she would either make himself kimbap, or by some at the convenince store

  - Cooking - As a good son that she is, she would cook his parents dinner at times when they worked to hard, and are tired when they   come back home

  - Show Me The Money - It's a guilty pleasure of hers. She watched season 4 when Zico was one of the producers for the show. She       ended up loving it, and watched all the seasons. She ddn't pay attention to the drama, but mostly on the raps

  -  Coffee - As a college student, majoring in Business, is pretty tirig as Hell. Because of the studying and tests, coffee has become        her best friend when she's in need of a quick pick me up. Plus, canned coffee is pretty addicting and more convenient then actually  making it

  - Dancing - Trust me, she ain't no Michael Jackson, but she sure knows how to move and look good doing it. She mostly learnt when   she was still a trainee under Stardom

➳ dislikes
   - Dissapointing Her Parents - Of course, as children of our own parents we  hate seeing them disappointed in us. When Byul's               contract with Stardom expired and her group was unsuccessful, her parents said it was okay, but as kids we know when parents say     that, it's the oppisite. She wants to see her parents proud of her again

   - Mnet Editing - One word. Devil. Mnet is renowned for their "devil editing". Byul didn't like how they cut things to make a fake            problem, but real drama for other people.

   - Giving Up - May come across as a bit confusing because of what was stated previously. But, Byuk didn't give up music, she kept        that a hobby. She just took a break from the spotlight to become an idol because, she's 22 know, and has to think of different things    after her contract expired

  - Singing - Byul is a rapper for many reasons. She loves hip-hop, she's been listening to rap for almost half her life, and also because   she is not a singer by choice, but because she cannot sing for

  - Squid - She's allergic to squid, so whenever her parents decides to treat her for a seafood feast for special occasions, she has to         always be concious of whether she's eating squid or octopus

  - Being Called "Cute" - She may look cute, but she hates being called cute. Because, I mean, she is 21 years old, and tries to be       mature and have some Sseununni look to her. Plus, she's very awkward if you ever ask her to do aegyo, but she ends up being cute     anyways

  - Horror Movies - She hates horror movies. She hates the jump scares, She hates blood, any form of masks and prostetics, anything    that She thinks will scare her for life and give her internal nightmares in any form or way

  - Makeup - I mean, She never wore make-up ever in her life (before he debuted though) - so she has nothing against it, but it just         not her style

  - Not Doing Her Part "Perfect" - Being the perfectionist that she is, whenever she performs and thinks that she didn't do her best,         she's always hard on herself, and she won't blame any members, but herself. Because in the world, the only person you can blame is   you only

  - The TV in Her Parents Convenience Store - When Byul became a trainee, her parents bought and installed a TV in the convenince      store to see their daughter onstage doing her thing and being happy. But when her contract expired, and Evol flopped, she hates    seeing the TV there because when she's working there on her off days from college it kind of makes her feel like her parents bought it  for nothing.

➳ habits
   - Rapping With Headphones - Byul has a weird habit of whenever she listens to hip-hop songs on her playlist on her phone, she              conciously raps along to the lyrics

   - Flipping Her Snapback Backwards - Due to her wearing snapbacks, turning it backwards is kind of her ritual when she's rapping.        It's kind of a way to show that she's no longer Jun Byul "The College Student" or "Ex-Idol", but she's Jun Byul  "The Idol That You        Left" or "The Person Who Just Raps"

➳ hobbies
   - Cooking - Sometimes her parents would be too tired after work at the convenince store and stressed about how much income is coming in, so away to make their lives a bit more easier, she started cooking for her parents. **If she becomes a contestant on PD101, she would be the chef of the dorm**

   - Composing - Of course, when she was a trainee under Stardom she was taught to compose her own songs. So, if there's a time          when they have to compose a song, or make their own rap, Byul got you

   - Taking Care of The Younglings - Again, she wants the younger trainees to know that they have an ally in the competiton, so she          likes taking care of them as little sisters and brothers

➳ trivia
   - During her trainee days of Stardom she and was close to the boys of Block B. If she has to choose the members that she's most        comfortable with it would be the rapper line

   - For any fan Evol, it's hard to say this, but Byul and the other girls don't talk much with each other.

   - Zico is the one to push him to atleast audition for Produce 101

   - She was #1 at her mock exams for her high school, but when she the actual ranking for her exams came, she was 3rd place

   - If/when she was picked for Produce 101 she was given the nickname of "Jjoleb" (Beginners Level" Because she hasn't been                training for a while, and is focusing on her studies. But on the show, she's like repeating the process of becoming an idol, but more      intensely

   - What she wants to acheive during the show, is that when her parents turn on the TV in her convenice store, is that they will see          their daughter doing what he originally wanted to do

   - If Kimbap was a person, she would marry it

   - If she had to pick her ideal person, no matter the gender, if the person makes kimbap well, that's all that matters to her

   - She's an expert at making kimbap

   - She prefers the food in America, because she was raised eating the hot dogs from the street vendors on the corners, but she likes      Korean food when it comes to snackin (except Twinkies, because they are life)

   - She hopes that Produce 101 will give her a helping hand for continuing her original dream as an idol

   - She doesn't like to call herself a rapper, instead she calls herself, "A person who raps" because she thinks the title of being a              rapper, is for the people who are really good at it and devoted themself to get to that point of their careers

   - One thing that Byul would like to acheive in the next ten years of her life, that she would've been graduated from college with a        degree in Business, but to also be  the CEO of her music company, where she would work her hardest to train idols as humans and        work hard to get the groups that he would form popular

PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF BRIEFLY TO THE VIEWERS, PRODUCERS AND STAFF. WHAT DID YOU AUDITION WITH?

✩ Byul looks around from the unfamiliar settings, with the extraterrestial creature they call cameras, and iights, and producers, getting nervous when the cameraman counted down to when he introduces himsel.

"A-annyeonghaseyo. I'm the person who just raps Jun Byul."

WHAT DID YOU AUDITION WITH?

✩ This

DO YOU THINK YOU'LL GET INTO THE TOP 11?

✩ Byul has to take a moment and breath, because she wonders to herself that if she could barely get on the music charts, they how would she get in the top 11.

"I don't think so. Because I don't have a company to call back on if I fail and no one is telling me how to do better."

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PRODUCE 101 SEASON 2 WITH BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS

✩ Byul didn't overreact like some girls would've done, she just kept a straight face and not making a big deal out of it.

"I've trained with boys before so I won't get distracted with the oppisite being in the same room as me."

WHAT RANKING DO YOU THINK YOU'LL GET?

✩ Byul hums to herself wondering what rank she could get. She probably thinks she'll get a low score.

"I honestly don't know about my ranking. Maybe because I debuted before,  people would expect a lot more from me and I probably might not deliever a good stage. Maybe in the 50's?"

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE GUYS?

✩ Byul hums to herself wondering what rank she could get. She probably thinks she'll get a low score.

"I honestly don't know about my ranking. Maybe because I debuted before,  people would expect a lot more from me and I probably might      not deliever a good stage. Maybe in the 50's?"

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE MALE CONTESTANTS?

✩ Byul still keeps a straight face when guys are mentioned. To be  honest she remembers someone.

"The male conestants.... I don't think there's not a lot that's different than the girls. I don't think gender matters in this kinf of sense, it's about talent."

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE FEMALE CONTESTANTS?

✩ She sighs as she remembers the girls from season 1 and the drama that happened ast year.

"Based on my knowledge from the first season, I'm not looking forward to some drama. I think because girls are more dramatic."

DO YOU FEEL ANY PRESSURE?

✩ She sighs thinking about her parents and the TV at the convenice store.

"Of course, but my reason is a bit different than others. My parents bought a TV for their convenice store to see my perform. But things didn't  work out for me, but I want them to see their daughter doing well in the  show. I don't want to fail them again."

DO YOU GET ALONG WITH OTHER CONTESTANTS OR IS THERE DRAMA?

✩ Byul tilts her head thinkig about the question. She laughs to herself about her answer.

"Rather than drama, don't you think there'll be more love lines? All boys  and girls are gonna be mixed into together, wouldn't that lead to some... misunderstandings?"

THAT'S THE INTERVIEW, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SAY?

Byul lets out another heavy sigh, and couldn't help, but tear up. Because it's a chance to speak up about herself.

"If you don't remember that's okay, but if you do. I'm sorry for letting you down before. I promise to show you a beter Shining Star, but as Jun Byul. I'll show you a shining stage soon!" Byul shot a smile, but her eyes were already telling her heart. She turned around and lets some tears out, but turns back to face the camera and waves goodbye to the viewers.

Kim Jonghyun
Kang Dongho (BU1) / Kim Minhyun (BU2)

PERSONALITY )
+ Humble, compassionate, ambitous, affectionate,
- Selfless, stoic, doubtful, self-concious
Good:
We all know how that Kim Jonghyun right now is being called, "The Nation's Leader" which he totally deserves. The man is one of the most humble people out there in the world. Kim Jonghyun knows that he wouldn't be where he is today without the people not behind him, but the people who were beside him at all times. He wants to take every chance he gets to share the spotlight with his teammates throughout the show. He's a great leader, because he shows his teammates concern whether it's becuse they can't get the choregraphy, needs help with rapping, or striaght up not in the mood, he will always be there to get your up and work hard to go as far as they can while their on the show. an example of this is when he was helping former teammate, Kwon Hyunbin during their Sorry, Sorry stage. Plus, Jonghyun is here for a reason and that's because PD101 is his last chance to succeed being an idol. This is literally his last shot to stardom or else we might not see Kim Jonghyun, JR the leader of Nu'est. But just because he can't promote as the whoie Nu'est, doesn't mean he's going to act gold with others. He can be very affectionate towards to other people, maybe because he already knows what the industry does to people and wants them to work under care, or maybe because he wants them to succeed as much as he does. But either way, he treats every guy as if they're his brother.

But one thing that many people worry about him is his selfessness. I mean the possibilities are that Kim Jonghyun will be chosen as the leader of whatever group he gets, so that means when they're getting evaluated and one person isn't up to par, Kim Jonghyun doesn't take the blame because it's his job, but because he knows that he's not doing his job as leader right. I mean, don't you remember Jonghyun taking the blame for Hyunbin at their group evaluation? Another thing that we don't get to see Jonghyun doing is kind of venting his concerns for himself because he's so focus on taking care of s need that he doesn't look out for himself, and some people can think that might be his downfall one day. Plus, one thing that could annoy because he can be doubtful about his capabilities as an idol because he thinks to himself that maybe if he doesn't have the skills before maybe that's why Nu'est didn't make it. Because he's out in the public once again, but not with a new comeback, but as a trainee. I bet it had took a toll on Jonghyun when he had to reintroduce to himself to the nation as an 8 year trainee. So I bet he's self concious about showing an old image of himself also maybe showing how Jonghyun was during the trainee times. So he could be self concious of how he acts, how he scolds some members, not doing his best/living up to expectations that trainees and the oublic has for him because he already debuted before.

FIRST MEETING ) When Jonghyun and Byul first met it was actually at a music show, when Evol was promoting their first (and last) comeback after a year from their debut, and Nu'est was promoting "Sleep Talking". Nu'est was the group performing after Evol and while Evol was going back to their music room after soundcheck, Byul and Jonghyun accidentally bumped into each other and it made Byul drop her mic, and Jonghyun being the gentleman that he is, he quickly bent down and picked up the microphone for her. And then as cliche as it might've sound as soon as Byul reached out for the mic, she touched his hands, and boom, she was feeling the red going to her cheeks, so did he.

However Evol wasn't around much because of lack of promotions being from a ty company. However because Byul is a fan of dying her hair, they usually met at the salon and got to know each other there. However, as Evol got less and less busy, they started to see each other less.

But I guess you can describe their meeting as "Like as First Sight" (?).

RELATIONSHIP ) (Inspo) So basically how Byul and Jonghyun would've acted around each other, at first was pretty awkward because he was actually 2 years younger than her, so he spoke formally with her at first. But after meeting a couple more times, Byul asked him if he could speak with the formalities because she could understand that it was awkward for both of them. So slowly, but surely they started to get closer with each other.

But let's be honest when it comes to liking someone, it's the hardest thing to do ever! Because you don't if they're into you like you are with them and it's the abolute worst if the one you like is a close friend. Because Nu'est and Evol were labelled as underrated groups and because both of them leaders they both knew hard it was to keep their members strength and mentalities up. So they exchanged numbers and soon they had someone to share their hardships with. They talked about their fears of not making it, letting their members now, they're not trying hard enough to be a good leader, etc. During their break time, they talked to each other from day to night when they had spare time.

However when Evol officially disbanded in 2015, that's when Byul and Jonghyun's relationship started to deterriate between them. As soon as Byul's contract expired and was going back to her normal life, Byul last messages to Jonghyun goes on the lines that she failed her team, her parents, herself and to Jonghyun. Because they both promised with each other that they were going to get through this. But her ultimate last message was, "I need to go back to my regular life. You still have a chance. Don't let me hold you back." Of course, Jonghyun was ultimatley hurt because Byul wanted him to focus on his career himself and he didn't have anyone else to lean on.

Then the 2 years that their relationship was put on a hiatus, they had to admit that they do miss each other, but neither one of them would've admited it for their own reason. Byul didn't want to distract Jonghyun from his already struggling idol career and Jonghyun didn't want to go against Byul's wishes. But yet they both go back on their phones re-reading their text messages from the past.

Fast forward to actual competition as soon as Byul was announced as an individual trainee, Kim Jonghyun was quick to realize the familiar face. As we all know when a basically well known member from a group (ex. Heo Chami from 5dolls) some trainees are quick to talk about their former popularity. (Evol was well known to be a underrated Kpop group in general, but mostly recognized for flopping, but had loads of potential). Awkwardly enough the group of individual trainees chose to sit in front of the now Pledis trainees and Jonghyun couldn't help but stealing glances at Byul's head because he wonders why she's back, but also because if this is actually last time to see each other before their (plausible) indefinitely seperation.

Throughout the course of the competition many fans were admiring the former leaders of their unhindered leadership skills. Some shipped them and some labelled them as "Leader Couple". Also behind the cameras Byul and Jonghyun were rekindling their former friendship and explore their unsaid feelings.

CONCLUSION ) How about if Byul has gotten eliminated as soon as she was packing up from the dorms Jonghyun confronts her about cutting their reltionships off. Jonghyun warns her to not say, "because I don't want to distract you", and he would've confessed that he couldn't focus because Byul wasn't talking to him anymore. Byul confessed that it was hard for her too and admits about clenching her phone in her hand at night because maybe he would've called her and asked what was wrong, Jonghyun thought that he was the only one, but turns out great leaders think alike. They both came to the conclusion in their heads that they both like each other. But time wasn't on their side because one has to leave, but they promise to meet up soon.

So at the end of the competition, Jonghyun and Byul finally make an ending to their some relationship,
FAMOUS LAST WORDS ) I hope you liked Byul, and I'm sorry if the app looks untidy and rushed because I have to leave the country for while because I'm on vacation with my fam and won't have access to wifi. again, my apologies.

SCENE SUGGESTIONS )

- Another Heo Chanmi scene, but without Byul sitting at first place
- Kim Jonghyun being a bit jealous due to Byul being close to other trainees
- Maybe Byul could be included in the "Fear" stage? or if not a recreation of "You Look Good" stage

Hi there! Is it alright if I listed Byul as one of my character's friends? I'm still working on her but her name's Seo Dalmin, a trainee from LOEN Ent. Thank you! c:
