PERSONALITY :　 At first glance, everyone thinks that Yuna is a spoiled and snobby brat due to her being raised in a wealthy family. Well, that's everyone's first impression, though, she was never snobby nor arrogant. Yuna is someone who work hard to own and deserve something. She is very determined and giving up is never in her dictionary. She believes that everything is possible and nothing is impossible. Yuna too have talents that wow people. She has a certain charm that makes her unique in her own way and style. One might think that Yuna is someone who doesn't care about her own stuff or others. Well, they're wrong, Yuna is very well organised and does her work without complaining despite the fact that she has other things to do. She is very responsible and hates leaving work undone, in fact, she is the only one who bothers cleaning up the dorm. With an IQ of 150, Yuna is basically a human encyclopedia. She simply knows answers to a lot of things despite only going to school for up until she is 20. She aced nearly all her exams during high school and was always top 5 in the whole cohort. Due to her intelligence, Yuna is quick-witted. She can answer and even solve a question in a fast period of time. She even can solve a rubiks cube within a minute and a half. Well, another first impression of her, is someone who gets scared and threatened easily. Well, No she isn't one of those . In fact, being a strong leader, Yuna is very brave. She takes up whatever challenges even if she hates it. She would do anything which includes bungee jumping when she have Acrophobia just for her groupmates. She isn't one to turn down a good challenge.

Well, Yuna is also very very very [see what i did there xD] clean. Her room is always clean. Like dust free. She's very neat and can't stand the sight of messiness. She could vomit blood if she sees a messy room and would cry if she sees that. Due to Yuna being a former cheerleader and captain, Yuna is quite flexible. She can do many gymnastic tricks such as an aerial, cartwheel, bridge and even a front aerial. Yuna can never lie. Even with a blunt personality, of course she can't lie, but no, Yuna hates lying and is very faithful. She hates cheating and would always come out clean. At first, some people might think Yuna is a cold person. With her badass look, they might even think that Yuna hates or can't stand being around people, but of course, never judge a book by it's cover.Yuna is a friendly girl, but that is only to people who acknowledges her presence. If you don't acknowledge or personally start a conversation with her, she would ignore you and act as if you're not there, but if you acknowledge her, she would be smiling and talking with you like she had been friends with you for years. With her determination, Yuna is a passionate girl. She would put her all into something if she can't succeed. Of course that's how people usually think she is a leader, because she can be so positive over a situation and would put her full attention to it.

Apart from the good side, Yuna have quite a number of bad sides. She tends to speak out of her mind. Due to her being intelligent, she blurts out irrelevant words that could hurt others. Many hate this trait of hers, seeing as her comments are not very nice and welcoming. Insead, it's something very offensive and hurtful. The other thing is that Yuna can never control her certain temper. She gets pissed off easily, especially on her time of month. Yuna would always burst out, hitting things that are very close to her, glaring at those who pissed her off and cussing to them like there is no tomorrow. It gets worse once she turns ill. she would cuss, even when the manager is present. Yuna once tried fixing her temper but to no avail, so people would have to live with her temper. Believing too much is Yuna. She is very dense in some situation and very naive despite having an IQ of 150. She believes in people too much that she can get hurt. It's something the members worry about since she trusts people too much and that she can never get the real situation or the real reason behind their actions. Get ready for Yuna's whines. Yuna can never wait for anyone. She hates waiting that she can leave you if you're late for even a minute. Though she is sometimes forced to wait, she would start whining and scolding the person who was late, saying that she was '2 seconds' from leaving them behind. Yuna can nag without hurting . once she sees something out of order, there goes the speaker. She would talk and talk to her members without stopping. Her nags are one thing to be careful about as once she talks, she'll never shut it. Full of sentences to burn people, Yuna is one sarcastic person. She knows how to have fun, but sometimes it's too much fun and that annoys people. Never take her words seriously, especially her sarcasm.

BACKGROUND :　 Yuna was born on May 8, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea. She is the only daughter and is the younger sister to 3 brothers and an elder sister to a younger brother. While growing up, Yuna wasn't known to act like a normal girl. She became a tomboy. Since her parents are always away, he eldest brother, who is only 4 years older than her, would have to take care of her. Yuna would always hang with them to play video games or simply for company. Her parents also tend to see that she doesn't have any friends who are females and would always hang around her brother's friends, who are males. Yuna basically lost all her feminity and would always act like a boy trapped in a girl's body.

When Yuna turned 8, Yuna took up cheerleading just for the sake of her mother. Her mother was super worried about Yuna's boyish behaviour and basically forced her to join cheerleading. Although Yuna was forced, she found it interesting as she would be able to do multiple things, such as a cartwheel and a back handspring. She honestly was having fun. They voted her captain thanks to her leader-like personality and her dedication to cheerleading. Although, it started out as something her mother thought was best for her, Yuna came to love it. I mean, she got to cheer for (hot) basketball players who represent the school during competitions and she got to attend multiple championship tournaments. Yuna finds it funny as well since she isn't one of those girly girls who wear skirts and dresses, yet there she was, standing with a bunch of girls, doing tricks that is highly dangerous and could lead to injuries. One fateful day, soon changed Yuna's life forever.

3 years passed since she joined cheerleading. She did not expect herself to be a cheerleader. Well, thanks to cheerleading, Yuna soon fell into the kpop world. She was in the midst of picking a song for a routine she was choreographing for the school's annual basketball competition, when she a video of a boy group called, "Shinhwa" appeared in her recommended list. She honestly did not think much of it, since she was already obsessed with rock bands, thus did not hesitate to listen to it and judge it. That was when she realised that the song was actually perfect for her routine. So she did used this so called "Shinhwa"'s song. Days turned to weeks, Yuna found herself humming to Shinhwa's songs. She found herself searching up on Korean pop music, which led her to become a full Kpop fan. She would sing and dance to every kpop song she knows and would start fangirling over her 'oppas'. Thanks to Kpop, Yuna also found interest in rapping. She doesn't give any if she sounds like a sim avatar when rapping. She would just spit out rhymes whenever and wherever she finds the time to. She felt as though her dream changed. Her dream was to become an idol.

A year soon passed in a blink of an eye. Yuna finally turned 12 and was soon given the approval to audition for an agency by her parents. She managed to do some research and found out that Starship Entertainment was holding Auditions. Of course, Yuna did not hesitate to audition. A week passed and Yuna thought that she was rejected but she received an e-mail, telling her that she was accepted. It gave Yuna a shock. She couldn't believe that they accepted her. She told her parents and brothers, who were so supportive since they knew Yuna have always wanted to become an Idol. The thing was, her cheer squad, did not take things lightly. They yelled at their 'Captain' for being a traitor to their cheer team. Which made Yuna have second thoughts. She was in dilemma and couldn't decide whether or not to leave her cheer squad and become trainee, or continue being a cheerleader. Both of them are very important in Yuna's live but she soon decided to follow her dreams. She thought thoroughly and chose her dream. So she soon left the cheer team and became a trainee.

5 years later, at the age of 17, Yuna soon left starship. It wasn't her decision, but it was the CEO's. It was either her or her best friend, so he chose her. It broke Yuna's heart as she was so dedicated and loyal to Starship but they treated her like an object. Something that they can keep and discard whenever they get bored. Unfortunately, Yuna returned home to her parents and siblings, disappointed in herself. Although her family were very understanding and would always come comfort her whenever she feels down, Yuna can't help but find herself a failure. She failed to become an Idol. Even her former cheer mates laughed at her for thinking that she could ever become an Idol. It pained her to see that she failed. Of course, only her eldest brother knew the feeling, seeing as he himself is a trainee. He knew the feeling. Thus, encourage Yuna to never give up and even gave her multiple advice on how to improve on her given skills. Thanks to Youjin, Yuna finally overcame her depression and she decided to audition for SM Entertainment. Her brother recommended it to her and she got accepted.

Yuna's best friend in the whole wide world. No one can outrun him. She loves him a lot as he took care of her. Youjin understands her, more than Yuna understands herself. He knows her, from her nasty habits to her favourite hobbies. Despite being 4 years apart, Yuna feels as though she is the closest to him since he is an idol himself. Youjin also loves to because of her height. Yuna is like a midget if she were to stand next to him and would have to look up just to talk to Youjin. you can tell how close they are with their teasing even though Yuna is very much younger than Youjin. Youjin's smile would always get brighter when with Yuna

Minjun and Yuna are close, but not as close as how Youjin is with Yuna. Minjun is Yuna's video game buddy since she would always end up being his teammate whenever the Kim siblings plays their games. Yuna sometimes calls him pabo for being to loud. Minjun loves to shout and scream whenever he plays video games and it would always annoy the heck out of Yuna. He is also the victim of Yuna's punch. Yes, he always gets punched on the arm by Yuna.

Yes. Jisung is Yuna twin brother who looks far more older than her. However, he is only older by 10 minutes. Similar to Youjin, Jisung is very close to his twin sister. Of course, they're twins. He protects her and would do anything for her. Although he is very chilled and doesn't take things too seriously. He can also be very childish, just like Seungjun. It might look as if Jisung is younger than Yuna but he's not. Jisung, along with Minjun, loves to tease Yuna because of her height.

This annoying brat happens to be Yuna's younger brother. They always bicker. Since Yuna is the 2nd youngest, Namjin tends to pick fights with her instead of his hyungs. He would always annoy her by disturbing when she's playing video games or would always poke her without any reason. He also doesn't know how to shut up, which is why Yuna sometimes can't stand him. They're actually quite close in general since Namjin is always worried about his noona. Namjin is also taller than Yuna, to which Yuna is very sad about.

Ever since their meeting in Starship's building, Seomin and Yuna were always seen together. They got closer thanks to being the same age and that Minjoo isn't one of those Jealous es. Seomin was actually the first ever person to approach Yuna in Starship and is the only girl trainee to ever talk to her. Seomin is always seen smiling, which always makes Yuna smile. Yuna dubbed Seomin as "The mood maker" as Seomin would always make a person's day brighter. Her smile can light up the atmosphere of the room. That is one of the main reasons why Yuna loves this cute little girl.

Yuna's 2nd family. Her 'Hyungs'. They always insult each other and would always hang out whenever they have time. Yuna and Seomin both have to tolerate Jooheon's aegyo (Which both girls find weird), Kihyun's constant nags (The reason why Yuna calls him Eomma), Hyungwon's sleepiness and stupidity (Seomin loves it, Yuna doesn't), Shownu's robotic and awkward talks (Yuna would always call him a harabeoji or appa), Minhyuk's big mouth (Seomin can tolerate this but Yuna gets pissed at his constant talking), I.M's English (He is repeating his british 'Could you give me some water' for the billionth time) and lastly, Wonho's cheekiness (Like literally, he is repeating stupid pickup lines to both Yuna and Seomin). Well apart from that, Yuna loves these boys and would always go to them if she were to ever face a problem.

Apart from Monsta X, Yuna is also friends with KNK. In fact, she's very close to all the members. Thanks to Youjin, Yuna met his groupmates and they became a very important part in Yuna's life. She is closest to Heejun excluding Youjin since Heejun is quite funny in a way. Yuna finds him very funny and would always laugh at his silly actions. They both see each other as friends and have an 'Oppa-dongsaeng' relationship. He is always there whenever Youjin is busy. He is basically the 2nd Youjin to Yuna. She can go to him whenever she has problems and can show Heejun who she truly is. Heejun even knows Yuna darkest secrets, in which he would always blackmail her whenever he needs her to do him a favour.

TRAINEE LIFE :

▸ Well, when she first joined Starship, many trainees thought she wouldn't be good. Seeing as she was quite young. Many thought she would fail and be dropped and cut immediately. Yuna proved them wrong though, She pushed through everything and worked hard. Improving everything, dancing and rapping. She was always seen, dancing or rapping alone in a dance room. She wanted to show everybody, telling them "you should never mess with me". It was a motto, her quote. Her trainers would always nag and throw harsh comments on her. Yuna would be the only person, that had gotten over a million nasty remark thrown into her face. Many wanted her to fail. They didn't want a tomboy in the industry. As you can see, Yuna is never close with the trainees. They were all disgusted by her. They were envious of her, seeing as she happened to be so lucky since she was given a chance to train despite making multiple mistakes. When things gets worse, only Youjin and his friends were there to support her. Although he himself had to focus on a lot of things such as his own training, he still managed to cheer Yuna everytime she's down. Fortunately, Yuna managed to find a friend, Seomin. In the end, she was supposed to debut, but was soon cut. Starship's CEO made a decision to let go one of his trainees. So it was either Yuna or Seomin. Yuna, knowing how much Seomin wanted to become an Idol, had no choice but to leave. She wanted Seomin to pursue her life long dream. (yes Yuna is a very loyal friend)

After leaving, Yuna soon returned home. Her heart in pieces as she couldn't pursue her dream now that she was no longer a trainee. She honestly did not know how to face her family, knowing that she had failed to debut. Well, her parents were never disappointed in her. In fact, they were very proud that Yuna had managed 5 years of training despite being cut. Jisung, Minjun and Namjin thought so too. They were so proud of their sister that they couldn't seem to stop talking about it to their colleagues. Yuna was grateful to have such wonderful people by her side. Even Youjin was there when Yuna was in the depression phase. He was there to encourage her to never give up and that there's always another chance. He even asked Seungjun to help Yuna in rapping, just so she could improve. Weeks after her departure from Starship, Yuna decided to audition agan. This time, asking her brother for a recommended agency. Youjin listed a few, including his previous agency, TS, his current YNB and a few others such as Fantagio and SM. Once Yuna heard the words, 'SM' she decided to audition for that. To which, fortunately, she was accepted.

During her trainee days in SM, Yuna felt as though it was a different atmosphere. A few other trainees befriended her and Yuna felt very happy. A month after starting, she was soon placed into SM Rookies. There, she met lots of other trainees who shares the same passion as her. Despite a more brighter atmosphere, SM was much harder than Starship. Endless nights where she had to practice and practice just to improve on every skill. She would return home with her body aching and a hurting throat for straining during vocal lessons. Honestly, Yuna felt like giving up due to the schedule given to her, but being a determined and passionate girl, she pushed through every single obstacle that was halting her to move forward. Fast forward to 2017, Yuna improved dramatically. Her rapping became stronger than before and her dancing became a higher standard. She even trained her singing, which soon improved and now she can sing nicely. Many things happened in between the 5 years such as Seomin leaving Starship and Joining YG entertainment instead. What made Yuna jump a bit for joy? When she was told that she would debut. She was told that she would be in the new girl group lineup that were set to debut soon.
