born seo maeri in june 25, 1998, she is the only daughter of seo jungho and park yujin (who were both famous idols before), maeri didn't really have a typical happy family. her father, despite living in the same house as her and giving her the love that all children craves, would only see her four days a week. he had tried to be the best father he could be, but jungho was still so young when maeri was born. she had no idea where he goes, but he eventually never came back one day when she was six years old. this caused a big blow to both her and her mother. he did take her out to eat and hang out months later, but only to say his last goodbye and to inform her that he and her mother have divorced.
leaving the idol life behind, yujin took a shot at designing and was quite sucessful at it. from local to international celebrities, they all wore her designs and her brand name became a household name in fashion. despite her busy schedule, yujin would still give her daughter love and attention that she needed, and would usually bring her around to work. she even makes her model for the brand sometimes.

love story. actually, changmin and maeri have known each other for so long since they both are in hope academy, but they can't say that they're friends, mainly because they never were really. they've always been put in the same class, but they never really talk apart from the usual questions they casually ask each other such as, "what time is it?", "is there any homework?" and "what do you mean there's an exam today?". but it's not like they hated each other. they were just simply awkward as their traits didn't match.
maeri is quiet, always alone and is known for her good grades, while changmin is the exact opposite - he is loud (as in very very loud) he always has a lot of friends around him, and he's the reason why their teachers are constantly getting mad at their class. however, everything changes when she receives a note on her desk one day.
everybody knows that maeri, despite some people hating her for being herself, has a lot admirers around her, all of which are dumped immediately. but she finds a rather interesting note under her desk. nobody really writes loves letters these days since everybody just confesses through sns, but the thing that caught her eye the most was its content.
